I first inquired with them to have an expensive procedure that's offered here and Dr Melissa Giannamore reassured me it wasn't needed and that my eyes were a lot better than what I thought.

Doctor Eric Jennings at this location was highly recommended by a friend…read more When we had our first consultation with him, Doctor Jennings explained everything very thoroughly about Cataracs surgery and he answered all our questions. We saw a video and how the surgery will be performed. He explained about the healing process and how to apply eye drops and also about the restrictions after the operation. After the consultation we met with the insurance lady who explained about the insurance process and gave us some paperwork. Each person at this office was very pleasant and professional. We were very happy about this location because it's conveniently located close to our home. When it came time for the follow up visit, after the first eye operation, we were able to get an appointment for the next day after the surgery at this location with a different doctor. That was fine too. However, after the second eye surgery, our appointment at this location was cancelled. Reason was that there was no doctor available at this office. So, we had to drive far to another Woolfson office located at a very congested area in Atlanta. Again, the staff was nice. But we do not want to go back to that location because of the construction work going on nearby. The saga continues! We were able to schedule the next follow up appointment in Canton, GA. That was nice because we saw Doctor Paven Korotana who was at the Atlanta location. She was very nice and informative. Hopefully she will be at the Canton location for the next follow up visit. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of care that my husband has received from Woolfson Eye Institute doctors and staff. The only complaint really is having to drive around Metro Atlanta area for different appointments,

Restored Vision. Renewed Life. A Standard of Care the Nation Should Notice…read more In a time when true excellence in healthcare can feel rare, my experience with Charles Ho at Marietta Eye Clinic deserves national recognition. Dr. Ho performed cataract surgery on both my left and right eyes and completed a precise optical alignment procedure that has completely transformed my vision. My astigmatism has been corrected, and I now have clear, crisp distance sight--something I had gradually lost and honestly thought I might never fully regain. Today, I see the world with a level of clarity that feels nothing short of remarkable. But this story is bigger than improved eyesight. It is about trust placed in a physician--and that trust being honored with excellence. It is about precision meeting compassion. From the first consultation through recovery, Dr. Ho demonstrated not only elite surgical skill, but a level of professionalism, calm confidence, and patient-centered care that should serve as a national benchmark. In healthcare, outcomes matter--and mine exceeded every expectation. In leadership, consistency matters--and Dr. Ho delivered at every step. In service, humanity matters--and it was evident throughout my entire experience. I, William Louis Baker, do not offer this praise lightly. After decades of leadership and decision-making in high-stakes environments, I recognize excellence when I see it. Dr. Charles Ho represents the very best of modern medicine--where skill, integrity, and results come together to truly change lives. If there is a standard for what ophthalmologic care in America should look like--this is it.

He may be fully qualified and competent but there is no way I would allow someone with his attitude cut on my eyes. He needs to take crash course in basic people skills IMHO. I was only 23 years old at the time and very fearful of the operation itself. Dr. Schoenberg walked me through everything step by step. This gave me some faith in him and the machine before the operation. It wasn't until during the procedure when I realized what a great Doctor Schoenberg is. The nurse was saying technical terms to him while he was operating and Dr. Schoenberg's response was "I am not worried about that right now, I am worried about Charlotte." That is when I had complete faith that Dr. Schoenberg. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing and was taking good care of me. I was beyond grateful to have him as my doctor. After he was done with the Lasik surgery he was BEYOND excited for me, so excited that he even asked to take a picture! That meant the world to me, especially because I've never been able to see clearly. I have always had glasses, since the age of four years old. I will never forget his kindness and enthusiasm for this big change in my life. I was one of his youngest patients and I am telling you right now, it was hands down the fastest and easiest procedure I've ever had. My eyes have stayed at the 20/15 vision even after three years later. Great staff and wonderful experience. Goodbye glasses and good riddance!

This is terrible "care" It feels more like a meat factory. People are waiting forever to be seen. I am here with my mom, being her advocate because she is being pressured to do cataract surgery and she still does not know what that surgery will do. The doctor is very full of herself, very prideful, sad to watch‍

I was completely respectful and saw her multiple times. Then, after the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th visit there was this tension I felt by the employees and her, all as I waited an average of 1/2 an hour to an hour just to get a few refills of BP meds from a PA or whatever title Selina has. I get confused with the multitude of acronyms in our healthcare system. I told her I may not have insurance anymore after this visit and we left off on good terms even though I was a little upset that I have a bunch of medical issues and she only spent 5 minutes with me, then I get a certified letter in the mail saying I somehow disrespected her. I went out of my way to be respectful because I know some people can find an insult in a bunch of roses. This was done because of a her personal dislike of me and my medical insurance uncertainty. I actually am holding the discharge letter she sent me. I was beyond confused when I received it. It said I used "inappropriate language." I never EVER cursed or raised my voice? I was also polite and said please and thank you constantly. I'm hoping this is a mistake, but wow. Wellstar is very broken. Really unfortunate. Copy of letter, recording of appointment. Receipts are always good.

When I visited my doctor this time, I went online and there were a number of appointment times available within the next few days. I selected my desired appointment time and received an email confirmation. When I arrived, it was easy to check in, and the wait time was not very long. When I went back to see the doctor, the nurse practitioner was friendly and professional. She congratulated me on some of my positive results compared to my last visit. I did not have to wait too long for the doctor. Dr Siddiqui is always courteous and professional. The exam did not take too long, and he sent medication refills to my local pharmacy. My only complaint involves WellStar's pricing. The last time I had lab work done at this facility, I had to pay around $100 extra beyond what my health insurance would cover. The costs for seeing a general practitioner are fairly standard, but when they send you to see a specialist, you can expect a bill from $500 to $800 depending upon the type of doctor you see and what type of procedure they perform.
