So appreciate that the do not up charge for alternative milks. I usually order an Iced Sledge Hammer minus the honey but today am enjoying a 16 oz. hot Fireball. I asked how much sauce and syrups would be in the drink, I prefer less sweet. The well educated barista knew the mocha sauce and orange syrup combined only added up to a total of one ounce so I went with it. She did offer to make it with less, let me try it and adjust. I am very happy with the tastiness and quality. In fact it tastes rather nostalgic, reminding me of the Swiss Orange Chocolate Chip ice cream Swenson's served! read more

Really convenient location right off the 41. Positioned close to other businesses and the freeway exit! This location is always fast, friendly and the quality is consistent. I really love this entire company and the way they run it. FOOD IS BAD. And not bad like chain coffee shop food normally is; worse !! The drinks are actually pretty good though. The ambiance is very meh wouldn't be the best place to study or read. The service is honestly pretty bad too. They don't really care to fix a problem and the baristas aren't very nice or welcoming. Starbucks down the road or a local coffee shop is sadly your better bet. read more

Fantastic coffee shop and a local jewel of the Post Falls area. This is the type of coffee store I wish I had in my neck of the woods. It's clean, creative, fast and tasty. If you want desert or you are willing to give up a meal that day go for the PG&J, it's flavored with coffee, chocolate and peanut butter. Oh what wonderful wicked things you come up with. Those are my three favorite flavors and that drink makes me weak in the knee's. During my visit we had many other flavors from plain Jane coffee to mocha's that were not to sweet. If you're looking authentic Italian style espresso shots, Thomas Hammer (TH) in Post falls is it! They create beautiful espresso. Their equipment is top of the line. Personally, I am very particular about espresso and foamed milk. They foam their milk beautifully! If you're a barista nerd, you know foamed milk should have the appearance of 'wet paint'. I recently bought a house in the area and set out to try every coffee shop. Being from Seattle (coffee central), I thought I'd struggle to find good coffee. I came up Thomas Hammer and cannot stop going! Nothing compares to Thomas Hammer coffee. The espresso is strong but not bitter. The specialty drinks (Skinny B) hits perfectly (not too sweet like SB). Being a Gonzaga University Alum, I supported Thomas Hammer (TH) Coffee Co since the first store opened, Downtown Spokane. I was disappointed last night, 7/20/14. I was in search of a new insulated travel mug and drove to Post Falls TH from Spokane for that purpose. It was about 6:28p.m. We walked in the unlocked door and were greeted with a "we close at 6:30." I said, "I am looking for a travel mug." She answered, "oh, go ahead and look around." after about two or three minutes, I found a nice black travel mug with the TH logo. I took it to the register to buy it and the girl behind the counter says, "You found one? Unfortunately, I can't sell it to you today." I asked, "you can't?" She just looked at me and smiled. I left the mug on the counter and walked out. As I left she said, "see you again, next time." I answered, "Probably not." I should have said, definitely not. We walked across the parking lot, to Starbucks (I don't like Starbucks coffee) and found a nice insulated travel mug for three more dollars than the TH mug. I took the mug to counter to pay for it. She washed it and filled it with a COMPLIMENTARY coffee of my choosing, a lovely iced mocha! I will now reacquaint myself with Starbucks Coffee Co. read more

The first thing that stands out about Thomas Hammer Coffee is the customer service! The baristas know their coffee, know their customers and are always friendly. With a nice sitting area inside and outside, this is the perfect place to study, meet with a friend, or grab your morning coffee. There is also free wifi, but if you are in a hurry they do have a drive through window. I am a big fan of their affordable drip coffee and 64 cent refills, but they also have a variety of pastries and specialty drinks available. If you are bigger fan of their coffee they do have their coffee available for purchase here as well as Thomas Hammer merchandise. read more

I love their coffee and staff is always very friendly. On occasion, it can get really busy and there can be a wait, but the staff has always been very apologetic. Prices aren't cheap but I wouldn't say they are that different from other coffee places. read more

Needed a good pick me up on a Sunday afternoonso we went to the Post Falls Thomas Hammer and i ordered a "shot in the dark". (Black coffee with a shot of espresso in it) The female working the drive through said they didnt have anymore drip coffee, but could make me an Americano. (Water with shots of espresso in it). I am not sure who would ever think that is a good substitute? Would you like fresh black coffee extra strong, or watered down espresso shots?? Today was my first time going to Thomas Hammer, unfortunately I will not be returning. I went through the drive threw and ordered my coffee. When I got to the window, which was open, the barista put coffee up for the people inside to grab. A lady came up and didn't know what coffee was hers. The barista then went to smell the coffees to see which one was hers, by putting her nose right against the lids opening. Fortunately that drink never got taken by a customer. Another man came up and said he had the wrong drink, the barista went on to be snappy and rude to the customer. This whole time I was just watching and no one had even come to the window to greet me. When someone did come over, she had no idea what I even ordered. I was pretty shocked that they didn't ring in my order or anything. I work in food and beverage and give most people the benefit of the doubt. But this was shocking. Thomas Hammer might also want to make sure that their employees have their hair pulled back in a nice clean fashion if they have long hair. When I finally left and went to take a sip of the coffee I ordered, I was highly disappointed as all it tasted like was a sweet mess. Didn't even taste like coffee. It was horrible and I am highly disappointed, never going back. read more

Took far too long for a blended coffee that wasn't even that great. They seemed to be making all orders for drive thru customers and not those in the store. Save your time and go to Starbucks or the small Mom and Pop coffee stands. read more
