Dr. Tom is very good at what he does. The last time i saw him before my recent visit this week was over a year ago. I had a serious muscle spasm in my lower back that resulted in incredible pain in the middle of the night or early morning, getting out of bed and walking was nearly impossible and pretty frightening. I even went to 5 different massage spas to get the knot out with out success. Finally I was referred to Dr. Tom from a friend/patient of his and after 5 visits i was back to normal and running marathons again. this recent visit i had a knot in my shoulder blade. It was hard to roll out of bed and lift my arm. I tried to stretch but it didnt help. finally after a week i made another appointment to see Dr. Tom. After 1 hour it was completely gone! Whats great about Dr. Tom is that he doesnt try to make a quick fix, he listens to the symptoms and tries to figure out where the source is that is causing the problem. Then he starts working your muscle right to the source and finishes with back and neck alignments. For those of you who dont believe in chiropractors like i once did, please give him a shot, you wont be disappointed. He accepts cash and insurance. I'm going to be very honest here, so hear me out. I had gone to another chiropractor before coming here. It was one of those typical "crack houses" where they just crack/adjust your back and send you home in 10 minutes. That type of chiropractor, I had found out, was total bullshit. They give real chiropractors a bad name, in my opinion... especially good guys like Dr. Tom, so read on. So in my case, and I'm sure in the case of many many others, its common that you hurt your back or are in discomfort... it's usually because of no exercise. This was my problem. Without strong abs and back muscles, how is my spine going to keep things together and aligned? I mean really, think about it! I can't explain it all, you're just going to have to go see Dr. Tom, but what I can tell you is this: I walked into Dr. Tom's barely being able to do a pushup. He showed me a workout routine, adjusted me, worked on strengthening my muscles and also showed me good pre-exercise stretches over the course of a few months. Now I'm in much better shape because of him with no back problems. I can do 100 pushups, 300 crunches, run 3 miles at a drop of a hat, no problem. In fact, I do that 2 or 3 times a week now because Dr. Tom got me into such good shape, I joined a local Jiu Jitsu academy... and I'm 40 years old. It's never too late to take care of that nagging discomfort in your neck, back or anywhere in your body for that matter. Dr. Tom isn't just a chiropractor, he's also a physical therapist that works with PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES. I don't usually write reviews but I love this place and the people so much that I felt it was necessary to express my gratitude. I had a menisectomy in May and my surgeon didn't order physical therapy after. I had done some stretching and basic exercises at home but the pain was not getting any better and sometimes it was even worse than before surgery. I was also experiencing muscle atrophy and weakness because I was unable to be on my feet longer than 30 minutes without excruciating pain. After a month and a half, my surgeon finally ordered PT and referred me to Dr. Tom. I called and left a message and Dr. Tom texted me back right away and took the time to ask me questions about my surgery and symptoms. I have been seeing Dr. Roni for 3 weeks now and I am already noticing a huge difference in my pain and strength. She takes the time to truly understand where my issues are coming from and tailors each session accordingly. She has been an angel and I am so grateful to have her help and guidance. I was two weeks out of a partial meniscectomy when I first came to see Dr. Tom. After working aggressively on my leg for about 15 minutes he had me walking around the office like normal. It was amazing. I did all the home exercises that he prescribed and continued visiting the office twice a week for about 7 weeks. Long story short, by the end of our sessions not only did I have full use of my knee again, I was pretty much in the best shape of my life. read more

My daughter had an injury during a volleyball game that resulted in severe pain and numbness. One orthopedic surgeon recommended surgery and another was on-the-fence about surgery, but both couldn't identify a way to treat her injury, particularly the numbness. She did months of PT with no relief. As a Junior, she faced having to give up the sport she loves and wants to play in college. At the recommendation of a friend, I took her to see Dr. Tom. The results of the treatment were great! Dr. Tom & Dr. Roni have been great they helped me a bunch with my chronic back and shoulder pain. They also helped my son with a back/leg problem and because he is a teen, got him to recover much faster than me. ( all this was 2015 ). Fast forward to a week ago, when I tweaked my back exercising, ( poor form via an inactivated core as I have been told), they decisively were able to diagnose and start treating. I highly recommend Dr. Tom if you are suffering from any pain; acute or chronic. First, let me preface my recommendation by saying I am not a big fan of chiropractors in general with their reputations of quick adjustments and temporary fixes. However, Dr. Tom is not like most chiropractors and in particular, he is very skilled and knowledgable in sports injuries. He treats and looks for the cause of pain, rather than the symptoms that will eventually come back. He treats to heal your injury and then educates you on preventative care. I have 3 sons all whom play competitive sports so injury in not an uncommon occurrence in our family. Dr. Tom had worked miracles in healing them and removing pain allowing them quick return to their game. Not only has he treated our acute injuries, he has also removed my husband's knee pain from osteoarthritis aka "old age" and sport injuries and he is back to playing ball after all these years -pain free!
