He relentlessly tried to snake it out for about 2 hours but it wasn't really doing the trick. He said I needed to have my septic company install a clean out and have him come back to jet the line, which I did. When he returned, he went in with a camera and explained there were a few dips in the pipe where waste water and sludge collected and froze during this past winter creating the blockage. In addition the pipe is not buried deep enough to keep it from freezing, yet if any deeper, waste wouldn't flow to the tank (it's a very old system). Considering the time spent, I feel they were fair with their pricing. No upselling. I also appreciate the time he took on the first visit and the 2nd to investigate and explain the issue.

The man who did the inspection effectively scared the buyer away after noticing the tank level was a bit lower than normal. He began to share conjecture about what the issue could be and essentially said the problems were so bad that they could not be solved. Because of this, the buyer backed out without any willingness to get a second opinion or negotiate. We since had two other reputable and longstanding septic companies in Fairfield County come out to look at the system. The issue turned out to be a very small leak near the drainage pipe of the septic system - a minor $1,200 fix. After having to pay $2K for these other companies to evaluate the problem, we then had to take an offer tens of thousands of dollars less than our original - which we were fortunate enough to have on hand. I'm sure this service is fine for an annual tank pump out, but I would beware when it comes to inspections.

As a septic expert, I expected that we would be getting really good service, but I never imagined how it would be even better than I thought. The pumper, Anthony let us know that he was on his way and arrived right on time. He was very friendly and showed great costumer service skills. He was the most friendliest pumper I've ever meet! (not all pumpers are that enthusiastic) He was able to find the septic tank easily and let me watch him pump it out. He told me the step-by-step process of how he cleaned out the septic tank. He had so much knowledge about managing septic systems that ya'll should know. He did the job super well! He even made sure that the filter was cleaned and that ALL the sludge was all pumped out! I of course tipped him well. Would totally have this company and Anthony, come back again! And would recommend Anthony to be the one to pump out your septic tank! This company cannot be trusted. They make errors that required multiple "service calls" that you…read morepay for! They were sent out to our house for 2 extremely basic jobs. First to winterize an outdoor kitchen area in the fall, and second to de-winterize the same area in the spring. Both required a second "service call" at my expense because they missed a leak. On the de-winterization job, their recommendation to fix the leak was to cut away the stainless steel below our sink (photo attached). I'm glad they were not capable enough to do the work because the person we hired to fix it, laughed at this recommendation. It was fixed in 20 min without any cutting!!! When asked to remove the charge for their second "service call" to diagnose the problem that I found, they refused. Stay away!!!
