All were well presented and delicious.  The sandwiches were more like flat breads but the fillings were delicious. Both came with tender beef skirt/pork belly strips with tangy pickles and green leafy garnishes. The burger was very enjoyable to eat as well, because the meat was juicy and I really liked. the smear of garlic aioli sauce for the fries.  We sat on the shady lake porch area and the padded chairs was so comfy we could fall asleep. The view was pretty amazing, and most importantly we can monitor the line to the cruise so we know when to get going.  Overall, the experience was great with beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and delicious food. I'd definitely recommend getting a meal here if you spend time at Maligne Lake.

I ordered "You Turkey Head" and in it was smoked turkey, marinated kale, shaved parmesan, labneh, pistachio pesto on sourdough Focaccia and let me tell you... It was the chef's kiss! It was a big sandwich for me so I had enough to last for lunch and another meal. It's a pricey sandwich for under $20 CAD but worthy of coming back for.

The Other Paw is a coffee shop with fresh pastries baked on the premises. I wanted something that I haven't seen in US and got the Butter Maple Pecan Danish for $3 CAN (about $2.40 USD). Unlike US Danish, it's thinner and less sweet. The nutty topping was delicious. The danish was on the drier side but still good. They also have sandwiches, salads, desserts and coffee. Great place to stop for a coffee/tea break after walking around down and have lunch.

Gayle's gobbled up choice didn't make it to our train (Via Canadian towards Vancouver), while I saved mine for coffee on board. Unfortunately, Gayle and I just scratched the surface of this place as there's cakes, pastries, and other goodies (plus coffee). I wish we could come back. There's also the main Bear's Paw a few blocks away, which shouldn't make any difference, except for maybe the size of the line-up.

We got brunch here before going on a hike and because our sandwiches were so big we only ate half and ate the rest after our hikes. I got the vegan blt (note the tofu is marinated in soy sauce so it's not gluten free) on gluten free bread and they actually gave me 2 sandwiches because the regular bread is massive. My husband got the regular blt and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both got the side of potatoes and they were warm, crispy, and creamy all at once. We liked this place so much we even ordered online the next morning and picked it up on our way to Banff. If you have any food allergies - they're super helpful and knowledgeable about their food, so be sure to ask any questions!

The burgers were good but the fries were exceptional. One person in our group also had fish and chips and that was good too. One had brunch and ordered pancakes, and those were really good that we decided to go back for breakfast the next day. For brunch the next morning, we had the Lou Lou's Omelette and some waffles. Both were exceptional and really hit the spot. Service was excellent, all the servers always had smiles on their faces and were always attentive. When we visit Jasper again, we will surely stop by Lou Lou's!

Loulou's also serves pizzas, ranging from the basic to special pizza pies. My partner had the Loulou's breakfast, which includes two eggs, toast, potatoes, tomatoes and your choice of meats. I had the three-cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. Both dishes were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant almost looks like a 1950's dinner, and is super cool and very welcoming. Soft jazz music was playing while we were there, which made it relaxing as well. Service was excellent and spot on, very polite and professional. A must if you are in the area of downtown Jasper and even just passing through!! I look forward to returning to try their pizza.

What I didn't like about the breakfast experience is the cup size for coffee! I think the cups are small compared to the similar businesses. For dinner they have a better menu and the food is pretty good! I have tried their special a couple of times and I enjoyed some of their dishes and appetizers! I didn't enjoy their cocktails since they seemed to be a bit homemade quality, and maybe overpriced? My good example is their old fashion which was the smallest I've even seen! The interior design and the atmosphere is great and a great place for date nights! The staff was always nice, friendly and helpful and I liked the customer service! Overall the quality of the food is good and I know I'll definitely go back there!

For breakfast we ordered the alpine start (yogurt with homemade musli, brioche with jam) and the waffle plate. We enjoyed both of them; there were a good starting for our morning (breakfast opens at 7:30am). For dinner we tried the chicken, the meatloaf and the ribs. Everything was very good. I can't complain about the taste of the food. My only "complain" is about the small portion of every dish and how slow was the service during the dinner. The first time we ate here we waited almost 1 hour for our meal (I know there was a big group and other tables, but the service was very slow). Overall the restaurant and the place are amazing because of the view of Athabaskan river and the mountains around and they have s'more pit and other event almost every night.
