After hearing about bad experiences from friends, I recently had my own. I went to two different places -- one for an oil change and one for a tire rotation -- and both asked who had serviced my car last. The answer was Bell Tire. My oil had been overfilled by 2 quarts, which can cause serious damage. On top of that, my locking lug nuts were tightened so tight that a tire shop couldn't remove them -- I had to go to a mechanic. The mechanic even said an inexperienced person must have been working on my car, and that locking lugs should not be tightened as much as regular ones. What worries me most is that if I had a roadside emergency, I wouldn't have been able to change my own tire. Between my experience and others I've heard about, I no longer recommend this location. Thankfully, Roadrunner Oil Change, Warehouse Tire, and Mo-Tech Automotive fixed the issues, $100 later!

These guys are total pros and I'm so glad I found them. I took my truck in yesterday with no…read moreappointment for an exhaust issue that was affecting driveability. I was expecting it to take days to get to it, diagnose, order parts, install, etc. Imagine my surprise when they called me within an hour to explain their diagnosis. The price was very fair so I gave them the go-ahead to replace catalytic converters and O2 sensors. They called me back about an hour later to let me know it was done! On top of that, they didn't throw parts at it and ended up saving me another $500 by testing the O2 sensors and determining they were still fine. I recently stopped by Morgan's Auto Service after my wife was involved in a minor car accident…read more There was a piece of plastic from the other vehicle lodged in the rim of the tire, and it looked like it could have punctured the bead. Since I didn't want to risk pulling it out myself and ending up with a flat tire in my driveway (which is only a few houses away), I brought it in for a quick check. To their credit, they took a look right away, removed the plastic, and re-inflated the tire. The whole process was quick and the staff was courteous. That said, I was charged $75, which they have posted in the front office as a diagnostic fee. I had essentially diagnosed the issue myself when I saw the large piece of plastic sticking out of the tire, so the charge felt a bit high for what turned out to be a simple fix. While I was paying, I asked what they would charge to mount and change a tire, and I was told $30--which made the $75 charge feel even more out of proportion. Overall, I appreciate the prompt service and professionalism, but I did walk away feeling a little undervalued as a customer given the simplicity of the issue.

I was an hour from home and my car started making the WORST sound after driving on a dirt road. It sounded like the worst grinding and screeching of brakes when I would drive. I called the shop and told him my issue and he said he was full today but could drive it and see if he could figure out what was wrong. As soon as he heard the sound he said "sounds like you got a rock stuck in there". I asked if he thought he could fix it tomorrow if I left it there overnight. When he heard I lived an hour away he made room to get me in today and sure enough, it was a rock stuck in my caliper. Fantastic service and very reasonable! So happy this shop was nearby!
