The work came out phenomenal! I was really blown away not only by the quality of the work but also the quick turn around time and some amazingly competitive pricing! I was so happy with the work by them that when a friend asked me for an auto body recommendation, of course I sent her to Tho's! Now SHE'S raving to me about the level of service and the quality of the work they did for her! They don't try to upsell and don't throw in quotes for work that is more than necessary. Okay, so no one ever wants to get into accidents, but life happens and luckily there were no injuries in our minor accident. With an older vehicle that has never had any issues and Liability-only insurance, we wanted to fix up our car as best as possible on a limited budget. Luckily, we found Loan and Tho's Auto Collision through a friend! We got 3-4 other estimates so knew what was reasonable and needed. Some shops will offer to replace everything unnecessarily (as if we had insurance to help pay), but Loan understood our situation and provided flexible options to stay within our budget. I initially sent in pictures for Loan to give us a ballpark estimate. She was super fast to respond and attentive (she prefers emails) the same day. Then we scheduled a time for her to see in person to confirm her estimates. That is when she provided us options and potential other items that may need additional work. After deciding to go with her, we then scheduled a time to drop off our car. Not only was she accurate in the estimated time needed (3-4 days), she was able to stick to our initial cost estimate, which was a major relief! I just got my car back after about 12 days in this shop and they were able to fix my doors, my window, and find me a good deal. I used mostly recycled parts for my car so I was able to save some money, Loan was great, she took me through the steps and was kind, professional, and even set up my car rental for me. Got fender bender? Look no further for repairs! I got rear ended by a big rig (yes, I am still alive) and my poor truck had to go to the shop. My insurance was dealing with most of the logistics of the accident and I needed to get back on my feet. I was referred here by a good friend of mine, and now, I owe that friend a good bottle of wine! At Tho's, they took my car in and gave me a great quote on the repairs (unlike some other shops in the Little Saigon area that will remain unnamed). After I handed their professional and courteous staff my keys, they took me to my car rental place, no looking for a ride here! In less than a week, my truck was ready to go and I was more than happy to see it again. They even delivered it to my house on a rainy day knowing that I had no mode of transport to pick it up. The staff at Tho's made sure my baby was in working order if not better and made sure that the smallest details were taken care of like making sure my license favorite (and only) plate cover was on my new bumper. I just got home literally an hour ago and I HAD to write a review. A few weeks ago I was on a hunt for a good shop that can help me repaint my front bumper on my 2009 Lexus IS250. I was shopping around and WE HAVE A WINNER!!! Tho's Auto Collision was the shop I was bringing my baby to. Other shops quoted me $400 with 5 days to fix. With Tho's, the estimate was $340 with only 3-4 days to complete. So definitely a no brainer I was going to choose Tho's. I talked to Loan and she is just the nicest person you will ever meet. She nicely escorted me through the whole process. As I brought my car in to get my bumper repainted, Linh told me to get a new bumper since the previous owner glued my front bumper to the clips holding it together and it broke. So that's what I did, Loan helped me find a new bumper and I had to wait a week so they can get the bumper in to prep and paint. It was well worth the wait, because when I brought my car in again to finally get the new bumper on. It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I was speechless. I thought my color would be EXTREMELY hard to match, but these guys matched it up perfectly. I know some shops says that the color of repainting something might be off by 5-10%, but guess what? It looked like my bumper matched up 110% to me (which means it matched up perfectly, not off by 110% for those of you that are confused) I was skeptical at first because I thought this place would be run by cranky old asian guys. BUT NOPE! Loan and Linh are running the front so you will always be greeted by friendly faces. If any of you guys are looking for a good auto shop, take it to this one. You will not be disappointed. The service here was great as well as the level of skill they brought to fixing my gf's honda accord. One rainy morning my gf, most likely texting and driving (although she denies it) ended up rear ending an suv. Needless to say the suv was fine but her honda was hurt...it needed the front grill and bumper replaced. She jumped on yelp and found Tho's. I had two incidents over the the course of less than 6 months and brought my business here after being recommended this place on an auto forum. I first spoke with Loan and she's the one you'll deal with more than often. You'll also get quick status updates on your repair. She is very understanding and willing to go out of her way to accommodate your needs. She has the complete knowledge in giving honest estimates for your repair in assuring your car will be returned good as new. She also understands there are some car enthusiasts out there who really care for and pamper their car and she makes sure we know our vehicle is in good and caring hands. If you have any questions about anything that is vehicle or insurance related she is glad to answer them, as she wants to make sure we know how the process works and help us out without dishonestly overcharging customers for unnecessary needs like some other shops do. Went to this place because of the reviews but sadly I was very disappointed. The older gentlemen that helped me was a cool dude. Felt like a typical Asian run store (not being racist, I just know how my people run their businesses)Very causal and laid back. But anyways, so I went to get my front lip painted, the gentlemen gave me a price, we shook hands, was told it would be ready in about 3 days. Called 3 days laters to see if it was ready for pick up and a very polite women picked up the phone. She said she wasn't sure if my lip was ready so she said she would call me back after she found the older gentlemen who rung me up when I came in. She never called me back but I was in the area so I just decided to stop by. Got there and ran into the older gentlemen that I spoke with when I first came in. He said the lip was ready so I paid the man and went home to install. When I got home I notice a lot of overspray issues. It was throughout the whole lip. Very disappointed. Also, it seemed like maybe the paint didn't have enough time to cure or maybe was improperly painted because the paint chipped and flaked off very easily. I don't know to much about paint but it just feels like it didn't adhere to my lip very well. Idk if it's due to the lip being plastic or skipping steps in the painting process but the quality was very low in my opinion. My lip did chip severely bad and fast but I won't really hold that against them because that might be because of my careless driving. So here's a list for quick digest. Okay, I'm impressed. Stupidly, I sideswiped a "safety" pole at a gas station while backing away from the pump in my vintage Porsche 356. This brilliant move left white marks and scrathes and the driver's door. When I got home, I was able to rub some of the damage off, however there were still quite a few marks and scratches left. I was thinking this is going to be expensive. As I often do, I sought the advice of fellow "Yelpers" for a good quality, reasonably priced auto paint shop. That's where I saw that Thor's lots of 5-star reviews. I drove over there and talked to Linh. He complemented the car and said he'd be able to take care of most of the visual marks and scratches. He quoted a GREAT price and asked me to pull around to the back of the shop. I watched, in amazement actually, as one of the guys from the shop removed almost all of the scratches and marks. This place does great work for the price you pay. Don't expect show winning quality, but you shouldn't expect it, because you'd be paying 2x or 3x as much. If you are the average person, Tho's will do a great job for a great price with decent turnaround time. Loan is very nice and helpful (and speaks perfect english) so don't worry about customer service. They are great in that respect. I've had multiple parts painted here for my Honda and while there are some flaws here and there (some debris in some parts) i didn't complain because of the price. I knew what i paid for and so i knew i couldn't expect show car quality. They are still very good quality though, so rest assured, if you just want a nice repair on your car or a decent paint job that won't break the bank, this is the place. To me there are 3 levels of paint shops (really many many levels, but i'll sum it up like this). Level 1: worse quality = earl scheib, 1 day paint, maaco, etc. where they can paint your entire car for $350-1500, get overspray everywhere (on suspension components, exhaust systems, window seals, etc) and have paint drips everywhere. Will have little to no prep work and paint is very thin too = will chip easily. Level 2: Good quality. You will get a good job, they will do the proper prep work to make sure the paint sticks and use decent quality paint. May not be painted in a paint booth or baked to set, but that's where you, as the customer, save cost. Places like this may mask off windows (as opposed to removing them), but will do a good job to minimize overspray. The average person will be fine with this level since they will not likely see the difference between this and better quality work and more importantly, they won't want to pay the price of higher quality work. Level 3: Excellent quality to perfection and show car level. This is probably where the most range will come in. You can get an OEM qualty paint job for $5k all the way up to a show stopper at $20K. They will remove windows, rubber seals, etc. strip it down to the chassis to paint your car. These types of places are pricey but will be an amazing and flawless finish when done. So i think Tho's falls under Level 2. Still light years better than a Level 1 paint job, but not a Level 3 either. Still a 5 stars rating from me. read more

My experience with Tho's was similar to all of the good reviews you read here on Yelp. My wife got a $2300 estimate (at Hi-Tech in Anaheim) to fix our Sienna's front left quarter panel. I got out of Tho's for $1086.00. They blended the paint, made it look like new in front. They even buffed out the blurry old headlight lenses so the car looks like it just rolled off the lot. Details.. .. Fixed passenger side mirror when I knocked it off backing into my garage. .. I stupidly rear ended someone on the 55 N going home from work on a Monday night. .. Repairs for the front of my car took approximately 2.5 weeks. prOs.. .. Loan & her team are the absolute BEST! no cOns.. yay!! mOre.. .. So after a long day of work, the last thing I needed was to get into a car accident, but considering the fact that it was my fault because I didn't break in time in the stop & go traffic, I guess I really have no one else to blame. I was definitely shaken by the whole situation & didn't really know who to call (aside from my boyfriend) & what to do regarding repairs. The gentleman that I hit was extremely nice & suggested that I shouldn't try to drive the car anywhere because some smoke had come out of my hood initially. Then it occurred to me that i had taken my car in to Tho's a few months back to have them fix my side mirror. They did a wonderful/efficient job then & I didn't see a reason to not try them again. I found their info in my glove box & called fully expecting it to go to voicemail because it was later in the day. Loan picked right up & patiently listened to me explain the whole situation & arranged for a tow company to come get the car at no cost to me. I have AAA & my membership only covers 7 mi worth of towing & $9/$10 per mile after that. She explained that if she has someone come tow my car, they can just bill the insurance company for that & it would roll into my total cost of repair (for which I'm only responsible for the deductible). The towing company arrived shortly after & all I had to do was give her my keys. Loan was a sweetheart & very reassuring the entire time. She even texted me to let me know that my car had arrived safely at her shop. Throughout the entire process, she was amazing. She explained everything to me in great detail & completely put me at ease with that aspect of the accident. Sometimes I would have to initiate asking her for updates, but she always responded very promptly with whatever I needed. My car was finished a day or so earlier than they estimated & it was even detailed.. well, the driver/passenger area was, my backseat had some miscellaneous leaves on the seats.. but whatever, with the excellent service/quality of work that was provide to me, I wasn't about to complain. Overall, I definitely think that Tho's deserves their 5 star reputation on Yelp. I know that auto shops are usually a pain in the a** to deal with, but Tho's makes the whole process a dream. This is the BEST auto collision place, hands down! Not only are they knowledgeable, they are so flexible and extremely understanding. We had taken my bf's car here before to get his bumper fixed, mind you the other car places said it was not doable. However Tho's was able to fix and paint it perfectly at a very reasonable price. Now for me, some jerk dented my car when it was parked and I was so bummed since its a new car. I took it to Tho's without even looking at other places and they were able to quote me at a reasonable price. Loan is so sweet and she knows her stuff. I had to get my bumper replaced from a hit and run, so I took some pictures and e-mailed Loan to get an estimate. She asked me to come in to get a better estimate and that it would take 4-5 days for it to be repaired. She worked with my schedule and my budget and got everything organized for me. I e-mailed her the day before it was ready for pick up to confirm my car would be ready by then and she responded promptly. She even texted me the day of letting me that my car was ready! Got my fender smashed from some asshole in a hit and run which prevented my door from opening, so I came here amidst reviews. Walked in, showed a picture, and was told to pull it to the back and got it fixed for free super fast. I was so thankful that she just did that without even batting an eye. Great service, such great hospitality and super chill to the point when I was demonstrating my door not opening she told me "Yeah if you keep doing that you're going to f--k it up even more". My brother found this auto shop on the Lexus forum and he took his car in for a wheel bearing fix. I too needed one done...I've been waiting out for over 2 years because it was so expensive for a poor college student like me to get the job done. BUT thank goodness, Tho gave me a good and affordable deal. I dropped it off in the morning and they finished in a couple of hours. I never knew how smooth my car can drive after the fix. So that was one time... I recently got my car smogged and it didn't pass. I know that I have an EGR problem but didn't know what it really does or what consequences it has. So I took it to Tho after I failed my smog, and I just wanted to replace my EGR since I thought it was pointless otherwise. He suggested to just clean it out since it will last me a few years and that it would save me some money. Save and Money in the same sentence...my fave! So I dropped it off in the morning and they worked on it for 4 hours. Cleaned out and took it straight to the smog test to get it retested....IT PASSED! WOoHOoOO!
