No less than a month that I get my car back do I get rear ended on my way to work. Of course, driver wanted not to report to insurance and pay out of pocket with his family friend auto body whatever. I wanted to take it to Tommy to get the estimate on the rear end damage to be accurate and was uncomfortable with the idea of going to some hocus pocus auto body family friend type deal. We met up at the shop and Tommy explained to the kid and his father (who showed up) that it wasn't a quick buff job. The entire bumper needs to be replaced. So we ultimately ended up going through our insurance companies. I've never been rear ended before - in fact this year is the first year of having to deal with claims after over 20 plus years of driving. Tommy assured me he'd handle it. I have been meaning to write this review a while back. Early February, I came in to fix an issue with my front white bumper ripping from the left side and some yellow paint scratches due to me accidentally backing into a parking column in my parking spot. My friend recommended this place to us and I was amazed by how fast they could schedule me in the next AM. They fixed everything within an hour or so and got the paint off as if it never happened. They did it for free and all I had to do was tip the mechanic $20. I was very pleased and I would highly recommend coming here. I had 2 accidents in 3 months. *** 1st accident: I had to come several times because noise persisted when opening tailgate after multiple fixes. My car is a 2019 Honda CR-V, insurance did not want to replace parts in one shot, they only approved a limited list of works to do, if issues persist they approved gradually extra works until issues disappear. NV autobody welcomed me when I came to have noise issue fixed, patiently work with insurance to get extra approved works until problem disappear. The quality of works is beyond expectation. *** 2nd accident: Satisfied, confident, I immediately go to NV shop when my right rear door was hit and run 2 months after the 1st accident. The ANC - Active Noise Canceling on my car must be turned-off because it's incompatible with my after-market upgraded sound system then generated terribly loud booms. Without ANC the car became so noisy like a rolling drum that need to be sound-proofed by Best Buy technicians . HONESTY: after works Tommy told me that they do their best to reinstall the sound-proof material on the door in same way as Best Buy did, but Tommy is not sure how good the works are because Best Buy did a customized works. I chose AUTO BODY SHOP & PAINT based on a recommendation from a friend So, here's the first step. Tracy and Tommy were prompt and effective with the paperwork and communication with my insurance company. The final bill was higher than the initial estimate (from the 'online' insurance adjuster), but that was to be expected to be, and none of it was my fault. They were in charge of filing the payment supplement. The second step is repairs. These are the results of a significant collision. Another vehicle collided with me, and I collided with another car in front of me. So, both the front and back of my car are damaged. However, the repair was completed in days, and you'd never know the damage had occurred. They completed my car on schedule. Finally, Auto Body Shop & Paint I would suggest to everyone. They're qualified to work on a wide range of makes and models, including high-end, technologically advanced vehicles. This body shop was recommended to me by the injury or accident attorney. And it was my big mistake! Their new paint color did not match perfectly my original one. And after couple of years, their paint started to crack and peel off horribly. Furthermore, they used after market parts to make more profit, even though my insurance paid lots of money for the dealer parts.
