Bad service, cold food owner very rude !! We ask to heat up out tea which was cold., and got Rolled eyes from waitress then ask for some lemons for my tea and the owner literally gave me a quarter of a slice lemon and told me I should drink my tea faster so they didn't have to heat up the water twice! This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have had in my 27 years of living in Spring Hill. Gyros are one of my favorite foods but this experience has me questioning that. The gyro platter was extremely dry and the lettuce on my Greek salad was wilted like it had been going bad in the refrigerator for days. I have been sick for nearly 3 days now. Since, to me, 5-star rating is reserved for that one place you feel like you can't live without.. That place that you dream of when you're away... I'll give this joint a 4. I'm super picky about how my food is cooked, and I had a bad experience at another breakfast place around town the day prior. My faith has been restored for cheap, brunch diners in the Hill. I ordered the same thing I ordered at the crummy place and got just what I was craving. The cooks even made the homefries crispy and my eggs perfect to my order. Came here for breakfast around 9 am with my fiance and was surprised at how large it was on the inside. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast food so I ordered their Taco Salad and he ordered the Popeye Omelette. When our food came I was thrilled to see so much meat because most places give you 95% lettuce. The shell was crispy and even better than Tijuana's shell. I ate the entire thing and am starting to crave another as I write this. Brian had no complaints about his spinach infused omelette which was the size of his plate. I am new to Florida as I lived all my life in New York City (Brooklyn and Queens) you can imagine there are many restaurants to choose from there. Well I recently moved to Spring Hill, Florida and was lucky to find this gem less than 2 miles away. It's a spacious and clean place that is airy the windows around it bring in plenty of light. The service is excellent and the employees are very customer friendly. They are open for breakfast and lunch only, too bad I would gladly go there for dinner. Both breakfast and lunch are excellent and very reasonably priced. I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad meal there. BTW the service is fast course but of course I'm retired and have all the time in the world lol. It's right off 19 Commercial way. We are new to the area and weren't aware of the back story. We noticed it and wanted to try it. We had two meals-One was: eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. It was good, nothing special, but good. The other was the country skillet. It was delicious! Both were good size portions (the skillet I had to take half home because it was so filling). Bill total (including drinks) was under $20. I ordered an open faced roast beef sandwich. The roast beef was sour and rancid. I told the ways and she just walked away without saying anything. Ten minutes later. I had to go find the owner and inform him. He said, no we just sliced it". I said it's rancid and inedible go try it if you don't believe me. He removed it from my bill. We finally tried this restaurant after driving past it for a year. It was a pleasant surprise. We stopped in for breakfast. I had basic eggs, hash-browns, toast and sausage. It was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. To my surprise, the toast was completely buttered, unlike most restaurants. The two of us ate for under $15.00, keeping in mind that we typically get water as our beverage. The atmosphere is nice and with all of the windows, it is very bright and inviting inside. The staff makes you feel very welcome and treat you like a long lost friend. We haven't tried their lunch yet, but this restaurant a definite keeper for a great breakfast. read more

Our family of 5 went there for breakfast. The food had NO flavor at all. Our waitress was not friendly. Every time we tried to talk to her and ask a question we got a response of mhmm. As a family that works in the industry we found it very rude. . The bill was almost $75 and when you use a debit or credit card they charge a "convenience" fee, so almost $80. They have a box of toys they bring out to small kids to play with during the meal which is actually quite awesome if your a parent, or someone who wants to enjoy a peaceful meal. What I DID NOT like was the manager/owner kept calling me girl! He said, "No girl, you go now." When I was asking if we left an item (warranty for a vacuum we had just gotten) behind. He could've chosen so many other words and I know perhaps since he is from a different culture this may just be a cultural difference, but it got frustrating quickly. This place is always clean and bright. Tend to get there for a late breakfast which is very nice no matter what I order. The Greek dishes for lunch are the best this side of Tarpon Springs and fresh. My Greek wife loves their spinach pie and I am a big fan of their Reuben sandwich for lunch. Very large menu to choose from. Very friendly owners and staff. Prices are very fair. Great place for Breakfast!!!! Sunday morning, the place was packed, I figured we would have to wait for a table.... Nope, party of 4 adults and 2 children and we were seated immediately after walking in. Plenty of servers on staff making sure every was well cared for, and every one of them looked like they enjoyed their job. I will say for the first time ever visiting a restaurant our 4 year old was offered some toys to play with while our food was prepared. Very nice touch! Our server was Patty, and she did a great job, making sure we had plenty of great coffee, and all of our needs were met, and our food was hot, fresh and delicious. The food was great! I had an omelet, my daughter had 2 pancakes and my wife chose to have a Greek Salad for Lunch. My omelet was perfect, meat and veggies were cooked into the omelet not taken out of a cooler and slapped on it. Plenty of egg and cheese with honestly nothing lacking. My daughter's chocolate chip pancakes were huge, fluffy, and perfect. The Greek Salad was incredible, fresh lettuce and vegetables with tasty feta cheese and a dressing that was perfect and not overpowering. The restaurant was clean and inviting. All in all it was a great breakfast/brunch. The only thing I would change or add is dinner service maybe 1 or 2 nights a week, wit. 5 stars from me! We will be back! read more

We tried to go to this restaurant, but were basically denied service due to my daughter's food allergies. She is allergic to dairy and peanuts so we called ahead to see what she might be able to have. I first spoke with a woman who wasn't sure about what she could have. I then asked to speak to a manger or chef who might better help me. I ended up speaking with the owner who was very rude and claimed that he didn't have much for her there. I felt as though I was inconveniencing him by asking. This place came highly recommended so I am shocked that this happened. We will not be going to a place that won't even try to accommodate diet restrictions. We have never run into this lack of service before. read more

Was my first & likely only visit. Was very disappointed with the meal, server, & manager. The server repeated my order so was surprised to have clearly crisp hashbrowns placed in front of me when I ordered them light. Ok, I said, I can just peel the top layer off. But then I discover the swiss cheese is infact imitation white american swiss. NOT AT ALL THE SAME. The server & manager both tried to convince me they are the same. If they had not tried to argue the situation I may have let it go. If they had apologized for the misleading labeling, I may have let it go. But for them BOTH to try to sell me the notion that imitation cheese is actual swiss, NO, I will not be happy. She removed the meal that was less than half eaten and the manager's best was to take off $2.00. Not an impressed first visit. read more

My husband and I have breakfast a couple times a week here, order the same food each time and seems our tab is as muc h as 2-3 $ different. Food is great but watch that the server don't overcharge you. We don't say anything anymore cause it don't do any good so the server just donates part of her tip to the resturant. Don't like having to do that but don't overcharge your client. I am an hoest person & if I were undercharged I would say something as well. Fair is fair. read more
