Just a local yokel thinking she could wake up early and beat the crowds to Weeki Wachee. Well, I was wrong, but something right happened. Too far from my regular breakfast haunt after my laughable attempt to visit this popular spring for the first time, I ended up at Perkins! They had gluten free options for me and the service was great. Bonus points for being a legit bakery type operation! read more

Understaffed maybe? I don't know but it took 15 minutes to seat us and another 15 minutes to see a server. 20 more minutes to order. They weren't busy. The servers were moving very very slowly. The food was flavorless. I have nothing to say about the ambiance. read more

Pick up the phone 50% of the time . Ordered curbside . Called four times they picked the phone up twice to tell me it was coming out when it was ready. Waited another 12 minutes . When order did come out it was wrong . I paid extra for lettuce and they forgot that and then messed up the fries . Entire order was so sloppily put together like someone did it while they were blindfolded . People seem extremely lazy that work here it's like I sat in the parking lot cuz no one wanted to take ten steps to bring my order curbside because the order was already cold when I got It even though they said it wasn't ready the first time I called to say I was there . read more

The cleanliness of this place is terrible. I started drinking my coffee and noticed there was old lipstick on the side of my cup. The entire place needs a good scrubbing. Our waitress was great but we won't be back unfortunately. There are much cleaner places to choose from nearby. read more

This location has some of the best customer service when compared to other locations. Stephanie did a great job with being efficient with my order and making sure all my needs were met. Food was mediocre. Server took our order. Brought our food and never came to our table again. She went to the 2 other tables she had next us. Wouldn't even look lover to our table. Finally after having our dirty dishes sit there and her walking by. We went to pay. No staff was around ......properly could have left without paying. Instead I went into kitchen and got our servers attention. She came out for us to pay. I told her You brought our food and never came back. She gave no response. So No Tip ! No manager was ever seen in dining room the entire time. Restaurant had 5 tables and 2 servers. NOT Busy! Where was Management?!? read more

It has been years, years, and years since I have been to Perkins. I came with three other people, and our server was Candie, and she was absolutely excellent! She said she has only been there for a short time, but you would never know it. Everyone at my table ordered something different: I ordered a salad, another person ordered breakfast, another person ordered a sandwich, and another person ordered a steak. Everybody gobbled every single thing down, everything was delicious! The last time I was at Perkins I didn't have a very good experience, so, now because of this experience I will definitely come back! Very happy with our server! It really makes all the difference, along with the taste of the food. I also love the fact that they have a huge variety of sodas to choose from. I am a big lover of Dr Pepper/Pibb and they actually had Pibb zero! I have never seen that in a restaurant and I am super happy about it. LOL it's the small things... read more

First of all, one out of every three tables is wobbly and have a folded napkin underneath one of the legs to keep it stable. 2 very slim pancakes with one egg and 2 small slices of bacon ran me 9.99 and coffee was 3.99. Save your money and go to Denny's ! Service was terrible! I had to wait over 20 minutes to get my food. This is the second such experience I've had with them. I will never return to the establishment! read more

It is a commercial box restaurant. We had breakfast. A basic breakfast. Hard to screw it up, and they didn't. Harder still to excel, and they didn't. Two things stood out - they leave an entire POT of coffee at the table, and all the wait staff was (more than) pleasant. That moved them up from a 3 star to a 4. It's breakfast. If you want an 'event' breakfast, this isn't the place. For eggs, bacon, pancakes and such, it's fine. They have a great 55+ menu if you qualify.:::: read more

To start off, not the best waitress. Husband ordered tilapia and shrimp dish, which tasted like microwaved frozen dinners($11). I ordered a breakfast plate. Should just stick to iHop. Pancakes were on the salty side. The apricot syrup tasted like it's been going bad. Maple and twinberry syrup left a weird taste in the mouth. Husband got the chocolate chip cookie sundae, which he said the cookie tasted like chips ahoy. I got the peanut butter pie, which only allowed me to take 3 bites. I rinsed my mouth out with water and decided to end it with the cherry from the sundae and spat that stale, slightly sour cherry right out. Definitely a first and last time. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service. On thanksgiving I put in an order, which of course they were extremely busy, but despite all the chaos going on, everyone still gave excellent service and worked so very hard to make sure everyone was satisfied. The manager personally came and helped out both customers and staff. Food was wonderful, staff was so helpful and kind, and my time spent there is always very nice. Thank you Perkins crew! read more

Not at a worth your time. I went with my bf on our lunch break. We waited for over half that break to get our food. A half an hr!!! Just ridiculous! The manager did take care of the bill though. If you have time to wait for an undersized portion of food this is your place !!! read more

Yes, yes - visiting home and bored enough to review the favorite hang out of all those 80+ in Spring Hill on a Friday night. This Perkins would be so much better if I wasn't in constant fear that someone in the room will keel over and die at any minute. As far as food and service goes, they're both just fine. Very typical chain-restaurant fare. But there are 2 good things about Perkins that keeps my family and I coming back to brave the elderly crowds time after time: 1 - It's just about the only place you can be seated without a wait in the area on a Friday night between 6 and 8. This town is hopping and my family is impatient. But there is always lots of room at Perkins on a Friday night (the same is not true, however, for Sunday mornings)! 2 - Four words: Breakfast. Served. All. Day. Need I say more? read more

My review is in response to the 1B4 me (Mariana), I'm here on a Sunday morning 9:15 am and had no wait at all. There are a few 60-70ish elders here though. Perhaps the 80's crowd "moved on"???? Which may explain the speedy service. Seriously though, from the time I parked my car to having finished my breakfast, and drove away... It was 28 minutes. My food was good & cooked as requested. The server was very attentive. What more could you ask for? read more

The last time I was here was after Irma and thankful to have somewhere that had power, eat and get some work done. Went there today for breakfast because most of the mom and pop businesses were closed. Biggest mistake. Our order went in at 10:51am and we didn't receive it until 11:53 am. I'm not kidding. The poor waitresses having to continually apologize. Everyone around us was in the same predicament. We tried our best with jokes and smiling because we want to stay 2021 off without harshness. As I was paying I asked if there was a new chef and they said "no, just a lot of to go orders". The place wasn't at full capacity so it's completely beyond me why it took so long. I didn't push for a discount (by the way the bacon came out barely cooked, over medium eggs were hard/almost fried, my potatoes were cold and the cheese on my omelette wasn't even melted. $30 breakfast that wasn't that great after having to wait an hour. We tipped the waitress well as this was no fault of hers. We won't be back. read more

Those slivers of Greek Gyro meat, the kind that is shaved off of a cone-shaped spire of blended meats. A masterpiece in meatology. Crystal slid in a cup of that oddly exotic Tzatziki sauce. White creamy concoction of cucumber, yogurt, garlic and more. Yum to the YUM. We also got the occasional maternal check-in from another wonder, named Chrissy. Hmmm, Crystal AND Chrissy. Sounds like a sitcom duo. She provided the appetizing background on Nanny's. Offerings of the day we might like to savor. Samples of carrot cake. Along with a batch of kindness. Yeah, we had a grand time. Our first time. Not likely to be a one-time wonder, either. Imagine that, just a turn signal's width off of 19. Put your signal on and turn, next time by. We gotta turn and return. A Nanny is there.

So the Paison and I decided to make a return visit to My Nanny's restaurant on US 19 for breakfast…read morethis morning.. I had been here previously and loved the food and especially the good service but he had never been so I decided to treat him. We see now that there are new owners, and it is now actually called The Siren's Spoon! and the pictures will say everything. Their water bagels are fresh and crispy and absolutely delicious. Everything here is super fresh. I was very impressed by that. Give it a try-you won't be sorry. It's a small place. It's nothing fancy, but oh boy, let me tell you what- Chrissy is the best server I've seen in a long time for a Mom and Pop Place! I have a feeling this little gem is going to expanding and do very very well . Give it a try y'all. They have done some work inside the restaurant with some very cute aquatic themed silk prints and they have "Siren TV" which shows some cute mermaids holding different specials offered every day. But enough about the TV and all -that the food was spectacular. I had one of the best Mediterranean omelets I've ever had in my life! Swim on in and have a fabulous meal! ‍

I'll start this by saying I'm writing this review in my bathroom. My server was condescending and…read moreinattentive. The food, oh the food, while it tasted good, it does not have the same joy inducing emotions it did going in as it does going out. We ran out of drinks and when we tried to ask for a refill our server just skipped our table completely. Too busy taking care of the table that ordered more than soup and salad as well as had more people than our table did. Even the manager walked past us without saying "hello". When our server did finally fill our drinks, it was right before we were leaving, which is almost redundant. I paid $50 for 2 bowls of soup, 2 salads, 2 glasses of Coke, and a $10 to go order. $50 for the opportunity to have diarrhea, 20 minutes after | left. I just made it home. I quite literally ran up the stairs chanting "30 more seconds, booty don't fail me now, just 30 more seconds". As a side note, l always, and I mean always, tip 30% of the bill but this time, I left nothing. I wont be back. Unless I'm constipated and feel like wasting $50. Best of luck to you all that go.
