I love going here to get my eyebrows and lip threaded! The prices are unbeatable, and the work is great. I love finding smaller owned businesses, and Threading & Spa by Christina is no different. I have also gotten my first bikini wax done here. Christina uses hard wax which is less painful and more accurate - for the same price a different salon would charge you for using regular wax! I love this business and don't see myself not coming back anytime soon. I've gotten my eyebrows done with Christina and the younger woman who works there. I love them both! When I moved to the raleigh area from NY, the one thing that I had such a hard time with was finding a place to get my eyebrows done. I'm extremely particular and paid $15 in NY because the place was just that good. After a couple of months of trying places and driving everywhere from Clayton (where I live) to Cary, Raleigh, etc... I stumbled upon this little gem. They had recently opened and I saw their sign that said "eyebrow threading $5". For $5 it was worth a shot. I am so happy I tried them out- they are great! Christina and her staff are all so incredible!! It took me a few try's to find the right threading spa after relocating to Raleigh... and it's safe to say this is THE ONE. They are friendly, personable, and extremely affordable. I get brow tinting along with brow and lip threading but I definitely want to try their waxing services soon. Eyebrow threading is $6. Upper lip is $3. The prices here are unbeatable. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't my favorite eyebrow job I ever had in my life but then again, and I had my eyebrows done numerous times by many different people from around the country. This is by far the cheapest I ever paid for threading though. I got it done by Christina (store owner, I believe) she is the sweetest lady ever. I asked her about eyelash extensions and she was honest saying it doesn't look too natural and is thick. Thank goodness! I was looking for natural lashes. She is the real deal. My first time here. I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and the woman that answered the phone said no. I waited 15+ minutes. There was only one woman on the floor when Igor there and finally a second came out but didn't offer to take either myself or the other woman who was also waiting. After a few minutes she finally said she was ready. I was there first and had been waiting longer but she offered to take the other customer first. Luckily, since the other customer knew I was there first she said l could go. The woman quickly threaded my eyebrows and lip. I didn't notice until I got in my car and had better light that she hadn't even gotten the hair about my lip and I still had to tweeze it. I drove out of my way to go to this place because of reviews but because of wait time and service quality I don't plan on returning. read more

But she apologizes before she starts so that's okOn my way out I noticed that the awaiting clients all had the same undefined shape with no taper which is what I received as well. Shame on me! I walked in at the right time where I didn't have to wait long and the prices are good but I would rather pay to get a brow customized for my face! hey it may work for you but as for me I'm onto the next spot. read more

Ms. B is excellent at threading...she does my eyebrows, upper lip and chin. She is very professional. She owns the spa and it is meticulous. She is a very caring esthetician and takes time with each client. I prefer threading to waxing and was lucky to find her in this new location on Wake Forest road in the Wal-Mart plaza next to new China King (my fav). She also does facials and other things that I have not tried yet. I am getting married next month and she suggetsed to do the peach fuzz on my face, as she said the make-up will hold and look better!
