This is a 5 star dentist's office for sure. The staff is so nice and accommodating. I took all 3 of…read moremy children (ages 9, 5 and 2) in for cleanings and dental exams and they made them feel so comfortable. There were no tears, no fear and no anxiety. They made it look like fun! The office itself is very nice with plenty of things for kids to do in the waiting room, from toys to movies to video games. Since it was our first visit we got a private room and my kids were allowed to select a movie to watch while getting their teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist was very pleasant and nice and explained everything that she was doing and also took pictures of each child once in the chair, to put on their wall. My daughter (2 year old) talked her ear off the entire time she was taking care of the boys. Never once was she irritated or annoyed. She was very professional and super friendly. They all made it through their cleanings unscathed and the dentist came in to examine their teeth. He was also very nice and thoroughly explained to me what was going on inside their mouths. If you're looking for a wonderful experience for your children at the dentist, this is the place to go. That's not something you often hear said about a dentist's office but this place gets it 100% right! Everything about their facility and style is geared toward making sure the kids are comfortable and enjoy themselves. I can't think of any reason to go anywhere else as long as their business model stays the way it is. I'm a fan!

My daughter and I had an amazing experience with Naptown Smiles until yesterday. She has been a…read morepatient there she 2-3 years old and is now 9. We were scheduled for an appt on Thursday 8/13 for her 6-month routine check. I received (3) text messages starting Sunday 8/9 to confirm the appointment. When I received the text on Monday 8/10 @ 8:53am, well over 48 hours prior to her appt, I responded back to the text to "please cancel" as my daughter was going to be away overnight and would not be back in town to make the appointment (I am very aware of their strict cancellation/no show policy). On Tuesday 8/11 at 3:05pm (over 24 hours after I sent the cancellation text) I received a text message that stated that cancellations and or reschedules are not accepted through text message. I called the office right away to cancel but had to leave a voicemail as the office was on the other line. I received a call back and was told that while I could cancel but I would still be charged a cancellation fee since it's within the 48-hour timeframe of the appt. I was a bit taken back by that as I told the staff member that I did cancel the appointment on Monday well before the 48 hours and I was unaware that I was not able to text back and that the text does not say that I need to contact the office directly. She then continues to argue with me stating that it does say that I have to call the office to cancel and after she looked at the messages on their end it does say it and she doesn't know why I am the ONLY customer that has text messages that don't say it. After asking if they can make an acceptation this time and going round and round about the text message, she said no, I will still be charged. I asked if I could send over a screen shot of my texts to prove on my end it does not have the verbiage she seems to think it has and proof that I indeed tried to cancel within the 48 hour period she says "yes" but then claims she does not know where I can send the information. I offered to text it or e-mail it. She states they do not have either option for me to be able to send my proof so no I cannot send my proof. I then asked to take to a manager, and she states that she was the manager. I then asked to speak with someone above her and conveniently no-one was available. I then asked her if she really would like to lose a patient over something like this and she was happy to let out business go with no questions. Obviously if they are willing to let us go that easy, we are just a number to them. This is a pediatric dentist and while my reason for cancellation was not an emergency, this is a children's practice and things sadly happen causing people need to unfortunately cancel. They are taking advantage and trying to take people's money any way they can! We have already found a new practice to go to and will not be returning to Naptown Smiles!

I'm so grateful to have been referred here! We went to a dentist that wanted to fill 18 cavities…read more between my 10 and 8 year old (who go to the dentist regularly and have never had a cavity). I got 4 filled for my son and something about it just felt off. After that same dentist saw me and clearly was just trying to make money; I cancelled all our appts and waited 10 months to get in here. It was worth the wait! We were in and out in 25 minutes for 2 kids and the 2 cavity's my son had - she said there was no reason to fill them because they don't cause him pain and the teeth will fall out in the next year (plus one cavity he filled already came out) and my daughter had early signs of 2 cavity's but they weren't real ones yet and we can just seal them. I was so relieved and glad I waited for another opinion. Everyone was great and caring from the front desk to the hygienist. My kids even came home and told my husband how much they liked everything - my daughter didn't want to leave because there were so many toys!

She had an assistant and that assistant told me that she should've pulled this tooth long time ago now I have to pay $3000 to have the other tooth pulled down via a chain-link and braces put on not a good place to take your kids.
