Cottleville is such a cute area we decided to try the new three kings as I am gluten free and have heard they have a great gluten free menu. the service was slow took us about 2-2.5 hours total. We did eat during a high traffic time so I will give grace there. I ordered the spicy sausage and goat cheese flatbread for dinner, the GF fried pickles and Brussel sprouts. Of the three the friend pickles were great but all of our parties food beside the apps was lukewarm or cold. They did give us a free GF brownie for my birthday so that was a plus! overall though i was not super impressed. We would probably not dine here again based on this experience. read more

We stopped for late lunch/early dinner and had a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very comfortable, kind of a British pub vibe. Also, check out the bathroom decor; that's all I'm gonna say! The food was delicious. I had the Seafood Stew which was loaded with salmon, cod, squid, large plump shrimp, mussels, homemade sausage, and red pepper strips in a spicy garlic broth over a bed of rice, along with a couple of slices of toasted bread to mop up the broth. Loved it! My partner had the Cajun Pasta and was very satisfied with his meal. I tasted the creamy sauce in this dish and it was excellent. Service was exceptionally good. Our waitress was on top of everything and was friendly and warm. The description doesn't do the restaurant justice. The menu is varied and is more than chicken wings and hamburgers. They have amazing and unique starters, salads, flatbread pizzas, burgers, etc.The Cajun dishes we had were excellent. We will definitely return. read more

Beautiful layout and comfortable ambiance greetings you and make for a great environment for enjoyable dining. They have a full bar area , kid friendly and daily specials. The Bacon Jam burger was fantastic, a perfectly grilled burger smothered with cheese and a yummy bacon jam served with hot crispy fries. So far so good! We sat in the bar dining area and loved the decor and gorgeous bar area. Server was fantastic albeit busy. Food was good! The cauliflower was delicious and my tuna sliders were cooked perfectly! My husband's chicken sandwich was crispy and tasty. We went on a Tuesday evening around 5:30. I want to say upfront that today was only day 5 of opening. I got there before 4 hoping we'd hit a lull between lunch and dinner. Ha! They were very busy! Parking can be an issue. It isn't a large lot up top with i think 5 businesses operating in the evening. The rear parking lot signage is lacking (lld issue), i just knew it was back there. I walked in, very friendly despite all the people everywhere. Put me on the waiting list with a promise of a txt in 35-40 minutes. I decided to wait in my car rather than the small foyer area. Wait ended up being 20ish mins and I did get a "your table is ready" txt. Walked back in and was seated quickly. Restaurant and bar were absolutely full. I like the decor inside, casual despite the "kingly" portraits. Our server, Heather, was great! She got us drinks, took our orders, and stopped by at least twice to let us know the kitchen was super busy but she was checking for our orders. We also got refills after our food arrived. Despite hustling, she took care of us and didn't act like it was crazy busy. Best part?? HUGE gluten free menu!! I had a tough time making a choice! I did pick the gf chicken parmesan. I can't remember the last time that was an option. Huge plate came out. The marinara was tangy and the chicken breaded, not bare. I really enjoyed it and have plenty left in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. Out of all the menu options, my dining companion chose a burger. It looked appealing and he said it was good. Did not like that every time the door opens, a blast of cold air travels at least halfway through the restaurant and not just a swirl across our feet. We were freezing. I put my scarf across my legs like a blanket. My hands were cold sitting at our table that i wouldn't describe as near the door. I look forward to trying more of the gf menu... maybe when it's not so new and busy... and after it warms up. read more

I called on the Friday of Labor Day weekend to see if they took reservations. The manager, Evan, said they didn't but they had a "call ahead" system. I told him we wanted to eat there but we're bringing my disabled father in law who couldn't wait around for half an hour or 45 minutes. He promised he would have a table for us. We walked in and were seated in 5 minutes. The food was amazing. I had gluten free fried ravioli and crab Rangoon then gyro sliders with Brussels sprouts. It was all amazing. Our waitress was knowledgeable about gluten free needs and there is a huge gluten free menu. Everyone else's food was good too. The cocktails were also phenomenal. This is a local chain, and if I had to compare it to a national chain to help someone understand it, I would compare it to Applebee's. in terms of the menu. It's sandwiches, burgers, sides, salads, and fuller entrées for fuller appetites. The menu here is a little bit more eclectic than Applebee's with dishes influenced by Hawaii, England, Jamaica, and other ethnic recipes The Three Kings decor is less frivolous than Applebee's and is a bit more upscale. With darker wood it tries to emulate an British pub. However, if you want standard British pub fare like Shepherds Pie or Guinness Stew, you'll be disappointed. They are not on the menu. We came here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening and waited for about 10 minutes for our table. The host was very friendly! We ordered the triple truffle fries 12/10!! Loved loved loved these. The white dip that came with was so tasty. My husband ordered the smash burger with a side salad with house dressing and i ordered the garlic bomb with steamed broccoli. The smash burger was good but not something he would get again because it wasn't anything special. The garlic bomb burger was kind of bland for the name. Could have used more sauce and i probably could have asked for more but I did save some of the sauce from the truffle fries and put it on the burger and that made it super good. I think the sauce was the same but the burger sauce didn't have much flavor. But the menu says it's the same sauce? The pretzel bun was really buttery. I felt like the burger was good but not something I'd get again. I would rate this experience 3/5 but the service was exceptional so I'll go with a 4/5 We were checked on often and the food came out quickly. Lots of places make the gesture of offering one or two gluten free items, but Three Kings takes it to a whole new level. They offer a full two page GF menu created with care. Tara the GM took the time to talk to me and show me labels which I really appreciated. Our server Ruby was helpful as well. I had the salmon and it was terrific. Stopped by on their second night open and the place was PACKED already at 4:45. Seated immediately and quickly greeted by our server. Drinks and food well made and brought out quickly, portions were plentiful. Can say the same for all meals looking around the room and at tables next to us. A lot of "2 tops" in the back squeezed in a bit tight row to row so kind of feels like you are almost sitting in your neighbors lap a bit. Tables a bit tight on space with plates and drinks in the two tops. Food was good, and pricing and portions were fair. I will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I went to Three Kings for an early dinner. We walked in and were able to sit at the bar which is our preferred seating. It has a modern style and it was pretty load inside. We ordered the Firecracker Cauliflower which was very good but had to much sauce which made the bottom soggy. We also had the smoked wings, they were well cooked with seasoned. They were very good. We also ordered the Truffle Fries and they were cooked to perfection. They have a good beer selection but I couldn't find a good lager on tap. The Bartenders did a good job of checking back with us routinely. All in all, it was very good. read more

We tried Three Kings after the grand opening crowds had died down so we didn't experience the parking or waiting hassles that many reviewers did. Plenty of places to park and sit at at about 4pm on a Saturday. The decor in this place is killer! It has an old English pub feel with a lot of cool antiques and signage. They also kept the modern amenities with giant TVs in the bar area. Trippy bathroom decor with giant images of animals dressed in Victorian garb along with pictures of historical figures holding their noses in the hallway leading to the restrooms. The menu is gigantic with food options from at least 4 continents! Portions are large with prices being what you would expect, at around $15-$20 per entree. Food was pretty good, had a unique take on potato skins, using spinach and artichoke dip as a filling. It wasn't executed the best with very little potato left in the skins and big pieces of prosciutto draped across the top. The entire piece would come off in one bite. They still need to iron out the kinks when it comes to service. Bartender was present at the beginning of our experience but non existent at the end. A customer suffered a medical emergency during our visit and staff seemed to have no clue how to handle this situation. Hopefully this gets worked out in time with more experience. read more

Big knuckle from chicken breast on plate. Risotto so bland. Very bad. Bread pudding was also very dry. Drinks were sub par. Probably not returning. Only positive was decor was cool. Stopped in tonight for a late dinner, we had heard good things, they were wrong. Service was okay. Even more disappointing was the food, the onion rings were passable and they were the best part of the experience. My salmon BLT did not taste as good as it should. The salmon itself did not have good flavor, seemed like a poor quality piece of fish. Even worse was the lettuce on it. I felt like it was the wilted scraps or maybe a garish from a couple plates for earlier in the night. My wife's Gyro sliders did not look appetizing but she said they were okay. Most disappointing was the cauliflower risotto. It was a serious joke, not creamy like it should be but clumpy and tasteless. My wife mentioned something to the server but she didn't seem to care and we didn't care enough to make a big deal. We did not see a manager the whole time and no one except our server checked in to see how we were doing. This is not a good restaurant. I cannot recommend and will not return. read more

We love the food and drinks out in West County, but the Cottleville location is rough! On the restaurant side, all the tables are way too close together. It's a real problem. The conversation next to us might as well have been at our table, and when the server put their food down, his backside was hitting our table. LITERALLY his butt hit my wine glass. Lots of possibilities for improvement, but we will go elsewhere until they work out the kinks. read more

It had been open for a few days and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was clean, service was fast and the food was good. The only concern was the hair on the lady that brought our food out. Went today for lunch on their second day of being open. Restaurant is so nicely decorated; loved the bar area and the lights on the tables. Our food was excellent tried apps, soup and wraps. I would love to rate the food but we never even got sat. Came here on a Wednesday night. First, the parking situation is awful. Then walking in, the place is not very big and not friendly toward larger parties. There needs to be a way to get on waitlist to see if you will even be sat. They told us it would be about 20 minutes. After 40 minutes they told us they were waiting for another party to leave. That party had barely started eating. Be upfront about how long it will truly be. We would have gone elsewhere. So many people walked in and right back out. I kept hearing the hostess tell every party, you are up next which was clearly a lie just in watching. I won't be back. This place won't last just based on what I saw unless they change what they are doing. Also the foyer has practically zero space to wait for your table. This restaurant should have never put a location here. Nothing in this space has lasted historically. read more
