I celebrate my birthday at this phenomenal place, once you cross the door you get invited to have one the most amazing ambiance ever. The service was perfect, the staff make you feel so loved. The food was super tasty and the drinks are always great

    Automatic gratuity

Sharing for visibility: this restaurant charges an automatic gratuity for any group with 1-5 guests. This is the first restaurant I've seen add an automatic gratuity for every table.

My 81 year old mom said "I can't remember having a meal this good." Yes, it's expensive, but it was great. The wagyu short rib tacos and lamb lollipops were packed with flavor. For sides, the mushrooms were out of this world. The dragon beef main course with filet Wagyu was just incredible. The ube cheesecake was as good as my mom's, which has never happened....ever. I took a bite and looked at my brother like "Holy crap! Should I make a comment to mom?" Only to have her say "This is as good as mine." Whew! Dodged that bullet. This is a high end place with a high end cost and at atmosphere like you're in Vegas.

Perfect Anniversary Dinner. Thanks Jacob all your recommendations were spot on. This is a Japanese steakhouse, but we had seafood. Will be back for the steaks, cause they look so good. The ambiance was stunning and set the perfect mood for a special night out.Every single thing we ordered was phenomenal:Drinks: The smoked old fashioned had the perfect depth, and the Asian-inspired margarita was incredibly refreshing.Starters & Mains: The Asian Caesar salad was a unique and delicious twist on a classic. For dinner, the lobster noodles were rich and flavorful, and the sea bass was cooked to absolute perfection. Dessert: We finished the night with the bread pudding, which was the ultimate comfort food dessert. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant was an experience. Beautiful decor and the huge screen showing different backgrounds. My most favorite thing was the ube dessert. A must try! My husband and I will be going back for date night

Worth the hype and definitely one of my all-time favorite restaurant week visits, it's like finding a little Las Vegas vibe in the middle of Tempe/Scottsdale! I took pictures and videos of the visual decor but I also don't wanna post too much because this place is worth the visit and part of that is the atmosphere. The service was top notch! Amanda F was our server and we absolutely loved her, she was knowledgeable and very attentive to us - she cleared our table of crumbs a few times and was respectful when coming over to put down new table settings. There was always someone walking around filling up water glasses! The food itself was a delight - my friend had the steak entree while I had the hamburger (pro tip from Amanda F - in order to try all 3 appetizers, we ordered the whipped edamame and the salad then my entree came with truffle fries, voila! All 3 apps. The burger was excellent, the pickled onions were probably one of my favorite parts and it was cooked to perfection. It was also pretty big so I ended up cutting it in half and taking the other half home where my husband proceeded to devour it before I even had time to wipe off my makeup! The dessert was great too, we each had the white chocolate bread pudding, it was so good! I feel like most places only offer chocolate desserts so this was a very welcome and appreciated change. Overall a wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back and also can't wait to see how my friends react to all the visuals!

The ambiance is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. The restaurant has a pretty, upscale atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The food lacked flavor, and the drinks were very basic considering how pricey everything was. For an Asian/Japanese-inspired restaurant, I expected much more flavor, creativity, and attention to detail. Another issue was the gratuity. I don't feel like it was made clear enough upfront, and with the prices already being on the higher end, the additional gratuity was frustrating. The parking situation was also terrible and made the overall experience less enjoyable. Another disappointment was that they don't offer a complimentary birthday dessert. For the prices you're paying, I expected at least a small birthday gesture. Overall, the ambiance is nice and makes for a pretty setting, but for the price, I expected much better food, drinks, and overall service. Unfortunately, I don't feel the experience was worth what we paid.

Restaurant is very trendy and fun. We took our friends for their birthday. Service was a strong point. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. The food was good, but not outstanding. Presentation was very nice, Three Thirty Three is a solid spot for ambiance and service and decent but not outstanding food.

I almost didn't go to 333 Restaurant... I was tired, scrolling through reviews, side-eyeing the prices, and my reservation was after 10 PM. But it was my birthday and I said WHY NOT treat myself? And I'm so glad I did. Ambiance? 1000/10. Just look at the pics and videos -- it's giving sexy, grown, date night vibes. Perfect birthday dinner spot. Low lighting, beautiful setup... it feels like an occasion the second you walk in. Service? Austin Powers was my waiter and he was AMAZING. Attentive, fun, and really made me feel celebrated. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. Food? 1000/10. The caviar and lamb chop lollipops were the perfect starters. Then the lobster garlic noodles? Whew. Flavorful, rich, cooked perfectly. And they brought out bread pudding for my birthday. That was such a sweet touch. Everything was seasoned well, decadent, and beautifully plated. My only con? Portion sizes. For those prices, I need a little more on that plate. But overall? No regrets. I'm glad I went and I'd definitely go back when I'm in Tempe, Arizona again.

Karruch was our server and he was amazing. In town for business and brought my teen along with me. Wanted to take her someplace upscale and exciting for photo opts. I found Three Thirty Three and they did not disappoint. We valeted because it's in this shopping center like area and no one has time to walk in heels from a parking deck. The restaurant is GORGEOUS. The screens, the ambiance, the cherry blossoms. The music. All things Hong Kong and Japan. We had the crispy caviar chips - NO not good don't get them Mushrooms - delicious Asparagus- delicious Bone Marrow- you get one. One. ONE. But the One is good. lol Short Rib - melts in your mouth like pot roast Lobster Pasta- nice flavor but too much dang on butter!! Tried the orb cheesecake for dessert it was divine!!! Highly recommend for a date night, late evening vibe or early impressively supper. Totally a vibe. Super Pricey!!!!

Great vibes, great food, great service! Everyone was very attentive. Came here to celebrate a friend bday. Waiter was very nice and gave out a complimentary and delicious cake. Picture perfect for the girlys who likes to take pictures and they have a great DJ who plays all the good hits. A few things I didn't like was menu items change periodically so make sure you check menu before hand. Secondly, there's an auto gratitude of 18% for party of 2 and 20% for 4+.

Had a great experience here when we were celebrating our anniversary and were given a gift card to try this place out. Cannot wait to be back! It was a little hard to find and figure out where to park, but it's right by street and the parking garage was very close by. The ambience is great, definitely gives the vibes of a Vegas nightclub or somewhere similar. The decor is amazing, especially the large screen they have in the main dining area. Hard to put into words other than you have to see it for yourself Our server Landis was great the whole night. Very personable, funny, easy to talk to and made some great recommendations. I ordered the Lychee Blossom cocktail per Landis' recommendations and omg I fell in love. It was so good and very similar to a lemon drop as he explained. I'd come back just for this! Boyfriend got the How to Train a Dragon and that was really good as well. We started with the smoked ahi tuna crudo. This arrives covered and when it's brought out, they remove the cover and pour the ponzu on it while it's smoking. Very cool to watch. The dish tasted good as well, very fresh and no fishy taste at all. We also got the roasted bone marrow and I have to stay, I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm used to fatty, rich, salty, you-know-it's-bad-for-your-heart-but-it's-a-good-treat-once-in-a-while kind of bone marrow. This was still good but didn't give me that guilty pleasure feeling I was hoping for. For entrees we ordered the 16 oz ribeye with Alaskan king crab Oscar and lobster garlic noodles, with risotto and Brussels sprouts as the sides. The ribeye was perfect and the king crab Oscar had nice crab chunks. Together it was a little too rich for me to eat a lot but it was very tasty! The lobster garlic noodles were pretty good, and there was a good amount of lobster on top. We don't usually eat noodles/pasta often but I would order this again. I'm not sure if we got the risotto we ordered (I wanted the truffle risotto but this one didn't taste like it had truffle and was more pricey, however there was only one risotto on the menu so it might be same). It tasted pretty good and was cooked well, and I enjoyed the mushrooms. The Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and I would definitely get those again. Tender inside with a nice flavorful crisp on the outside. We were given a complimentary smaller portion of their white chocolate bread pudding and although we were STUFFED, we finished it lol. It was a great end to our meal and the miso chantilly cream was to die for. If you go I definitely recommend asking for Landis if possible. We will definitely request him when we're back!

It's a very nice place, I would say, dress up somewhat. I wouldn't go in flip-flops and shorts and a tank top for example.

For our meal, we ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich with fries, Keg Burger with fries, the Lobster Roll with fries from the summer menu, and the Prime Rib Dinner. We also learned that there is a larger cut of prime rib available that isn't listed on the menu. It can be ordered with one side, or you can add an additional side for an extra charge. One thing that caught us off guard was that the lobster roll was served with a salad. With the recent produce recalls, we were a little hesitant. In the future, we'll likely request a different side instead. Unfortunately, the Lobster Roll was the biggest disappointment of the evening. While the flavor was good, the portion size was much smaller than it appears on the menu. It was more like a sampler-sized sandwich than a full entrée, and for that reason, we probably wouldn't order it again. We hope the restaurant considers increasing the portion size to better match guests' expectations. The Prime Rib Dinner is usually one of our favorites, but this visit it arrived only warm, while the rest of our food was served hot. It wasn't a major issue, but we would have preferred the prime rib to be served at the same temperature as the rest of the meal. On a positive note, our server was excellent. He took our entire order without writing anything down and was attentive throughout our visit. The only minor issue was that one of our Happy Hour items did not ring up correctly on the bill. It was quickly corrected without any problems, but it's always a good reminder to review your receipt before paying, as simple mistakes can happen anywhere. Overall, we continue to enjoy dining at this location. The service is consistently outstanding, and we appreciate the quality of the food. Our only suggestions would be to increase the size of the lobster roll and ensure that all entrées--especially the signature prime rib--are served hot. Despite those minor issues, we had a great family dinner and look forward to visiting again.

Even on this busy night. After our meal we walked around the outside seating and game area. This place is a fun place to meet with others especially with the outdoor/patio game area. I would love to come back when in AZ.. But, I don't have to wait until then because we have a CD restaurant in the San Diego area! Woohoo! I can't wait to try some other dishes and have another Espresso Martini. I probably would pay for a shot of Bailey's added to the drink. Restaurant parking is busy but they do have additional parking just across the way. It happened to be busy because we were up against Valentine's Day weekend.

We arrived around 8pm on a Monday night and were happy they were open and seemed to have quite a few full tables. We were seated promptly at a very comfortable table. Our server took our drink orders right away and was very helpful in answering our questions regarding the menu. I ordered the most delicious shrimp Louie for my meal. My husband ordered the club sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our son ordered a pasta dish which he loved. Even though we don't live in the Tempe area, we would definitely dine at Culinary Dropout the next time we are in the area!

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

Ambiance (4/5): Firebirds is a spacious restaurant with both a bar area and sit-down area. It kind of gives you a cabin feel, with some sophistication. From what I was told, Firebirds attracts a lot of snow birds... so older clientele. The restaurant wasn't too busy with it being the summer while we were there. Service (4/5): The bartender let us stay a good deal after close which is always nice (especially since they close relatively early). She still had to clean up, so I'm glad we weren't rushed. She also yapped a lot to us. Not a problem though, nice and charming lady. Food (N/A): We had dinner prior so we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): Solid cocktail list which is something I always appreciate. The star of the show, though? Look for a large jug of sorts at the end of the bar full of pineapple slices. You know where I'm going with this...a fermented pineapple vodka cocktail. We've all done something like this in college... well, I have at least. This is the grown-up version. Served in a martini glass. And on special during happy hour for 5 buckeroos. You can thank me later. I'll have to try the food next time!
