From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, rustic feel--beautiful stonework, a cozy fireplace stacked with wood, and high wood-beamed ceilings that give the space an upscale lodge vibe. Service was solid--friendly, attentive, and everything came out in a timely manner. For food, we ordered the Durango burger and the chicken pasta, and just a heads-up--the portions in the photos are half sizes because we split both entrées. The Durango burger looked thick, juicy, and absolutely amazing when it arrived... but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. We tried adding ketchup to bring it to life, but it still didn't quite hit that "wow" factor. The chicken pasta had a strong first impression--it was spicy and tasted really good on the first few bites. However, after a while, it started to lean a bit too salty. Also, I wish there had been more chicken in the dish to balance everything out. On the bright side, the pineapple martini was a win--refreshing, smooth, and definitely something I'd order again. We came in recently and overall the food tasted good, but unfortunately everything came out either just warm or close to room temperature. We had to send our appetizer back because it wasn't warm at all. When our entrees arrived, they weren't hot either. At that point we didn't want to wait any longer, so we ate a little and took the rest to go. Our server James was honestly great. No complaints about him at all. He was attentive, kind, and did his job well. The food runners, however, were pretty disappointing. The girl who dropped off our appetizer didn't say a word, just set it down and walked away. Later we asked her for plates and never received them until the very end of our meal when she suddenly remembered. As a restaurant owner myself, these are the small things I know can make or break an experience. Temperature, communication, and basic attentiveness matter. James deserves better coworkers supporting him, because he was doing his part. We were greeted immediately and told there was a 20 minute wait for patio seating, so opted inside seating that was available immediately. Lively vide, upscale, and rustic decor. We enjoyed a few draft beers, cold and refreshing. Chicken Nachos were a great started, goat cheese, corn salsa, green chili cheese sauce and fresh jalapeños delivered bold flavors. We also had the beef sliders and roasted garlic Parmesan fries. Great counter flavors from the pickles, onion and mustard to balance the fat of the burger and Tillamook cheddar cheese on the beef sliders. I didn't try the fries, although my friends appeared to enjoy them. I'll share that they cook fantastic steaks from previous visits. First time here we wanted bbq and thought this was going to be the closest thing to bbq in the area lol. Happy we came in because it was a pleasant surprise. My salmon was delicious and I loved the rice that came with it. The vegetables were all cooked correctly. They weren't mushy or anything. They still had a nice crisp bite. I did not like the deviled eggs as much as I thought I was going to like them so I'll skip these next time but we did like the lobster queso and chips. Had an incredible dinner at Firebirds Grill and can't recommend it enough, especially their $35.99 three-course meal. It's honestly one of the best dining deals around! I ordered the chili, ribs, and the chocolate brownie for dessert, everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ribs were tender and juicy, and that brownie... unreal. My wife went with the Caesar salad, grilled salmon with shrimp, and the cheesecake, which she absolutely loved. And you can't beat the bread and perfectly softened butter they start you off with. It's simple but unforgettable and sets the tone for the rest of the meal. For the price, we were blown away by how much food we got -- it easily could've cost us more just getting entrees alone. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the atmosphere made for a perfect date night. Really enjoyed lunch here today. They were very crowded, but we had a reservation, and only had to wait about 5 minutes. It has a nice atmosphere, with a large fireplace in the bar area, and a two level dining room with wooden beans. Our server was such a joy, even telling us a funny story about someone who came in earlier. He was very attentive. He brought us hot bread and butter right away We ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes and fruit and the Roasted Garlic Sirloin served with Parmesan mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. The Parmesan in the potatoes makes them especially yummy. The ribs were the most tender I have ever had--the meat literally feel of the bone so that I didn't have to touch then at all. I just used a fork. Soooooooi good. I have to start by saying that our server is the reason this place gets a full 5 stars from me. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious, but Rachael truly made the entire experience exceptional. Some people are just natural hosts, and she absolutely is one of them. Rachael was kind, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful--she checked all the boxes and then some. She was the total package! If you visit, definitely ask for her--you won't be disappointed. The ambiance of the restaurant is rustic, quiet, and intimate, making it easy to enjoy a real conversation at your table. Had the 3 course meal with bacon wrapped filet mignon, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and a blt salad. My favorite item was the crème brûlée cheesecake. The cheesecake is what always brings me back. This was a disappointing experience this time around as my filet was not tender and lacking in flavor. 3rd time is the charm right? Really wanted to give this place another chance. The first experience was not so great especially for my boyfriend's birthday last year. We were invited to come back to give Firebirds another chance. We came for brunch a couple Sundays ago and this time we sat at the bar. The hostess did ask if we had reservations (it was mothers day) and we said no. She looked apalled (yes we get it, its busy). She just kept looking at us so we just asked if the bar was open and went that way. That was quite awkward. I got the bake French toast and it was really good, but it was also dry. Asked if I could get syrup and was told they dont even have syrup. That is very strange especially for a French toast dish. If I just had some syrup it would be *chefs kiss* My boyfriend got bacon and eggs. Looks like he was missing the biscuit from comparing photos from the online menu and to what he actually received. The eggs were crumbly like they were made from powder eggs. Wouldn't recommend that dish. The fruit was also not that great as in the cantelope was cut close to the rind. It was not fresh fruit at all. The food for brunch was okay but the staff was super friendly. Kaiden held a great conversation and checked up on us. He did offer honey but I was just about done eating it. We thought okay maybe brunch just isnt it at firebirds but was told about martini Mondays! We did want to try happy hour sometime so we came this past Tuesday. Mikayla started out strong with greeting us and getting our drinks and food in. But then it was like she didnt really check up on us after that. Kaiden was working again and he took care of us. Kaiden is an excellent worker and a really good barback. Brie the manager also came by to chat with us making sure everything was good. She was super attentive and took care of us. A couple items came out prepared wrongly and the male manager apologized and got it taken care of. He even mentioned Mikayla had it rung up correctly (regular fries not truffle fries and nachos with everything on the side) He was very kind about it and took ownership of the mistake. You can see my beef sliders also has everything on the side. I like how firebirds is accommodating. I may like or may not like how certain things are prepared or how sauces may taste so its easier to just ask for it on the side. Would definitely recommend happy hour at firebirds. We had a group of 16 in for a brunch as part of an anniversary weekend. Rachel, Brie and their crew were WONDERFUL servers. They were attentive, kind, professional, and helpful. They kindly and expertly accommodated our entire group including kids and folks with allergies. Food was delicious! Far better than we expected and really tasty! I truly enjoyed the charred carrot salad, and their deviled eggs were fabulous. The menu is very helpful for folks with gluten allergies. We had diverse meals around the table and everyone was quite happy! They have a nice wine list including a lovely Duckhorn Goldeneye Pinot Noir, tasty brunch mimosas, and the staff was awesome (and proactive!) about filling waters up regularly. We truly appreciated that the staff signed a little anniversary card for us, and that they brought out a little happy anniversary dessert! Met some friends here last night for diner. Was pleasantly surprised. We don often go out for steaks as the ones we make at home or often better. They just started having prime rib on Saturdays and Sunday so we had to try. 3 of us had the prime rib and it was reasonably priced with generous portions. The loaded bake potato was amazing, cooked perfectly and generous toppings. One of us had the shrimp salad which was again a generous serving. And my husband had the filet with mashed potatoes and the mushrooms. We started with the Lobster queso which was spot on and the wedge salad which was elevated and extremely satisfying. Although we were all extremely full we could not pass up the crème brûlée cheesecake and it did not disappoint and was worth it. The restaurant ambiance was pleasant and not overly crowded with tables too close. Our server was witty, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. I made reservations with high hopes for Mother's Day brunch and someplace new but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The waitress (Madison) was blatantly rude to us with cold indifference. When my 85 year-old father-in-law asked about sides for his meal she pointed at the menu and said "look there" instead of naming the sides like a nice waitress would. My boyfriend asked if they had Guinness and she shot back "What?" and when he asked what beers they offered she picked up the drink menu on the table and said "here." She had the most unpleasant demeanor. Honestly, my family is Hispanic and I wondered if that was a factor. Further, the food was cold and the meat was dry. We've eaten at different locations and this by far is the WORST ever. Our server wrote down all of our orders (4 people) starting with my daughter and then after the last order he asked my daughter what she would like when he literally asked her the first time. We had to ask for the bread and butter after waiting 10- 15 minutes after ordering. My husband ordered a beer and they brought out a can. We asked 3x for a glass even asked another waiter for a glass and he said he would go get our waiter which we had to wait another 15 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting we still had no glass and no food, in addition my daughter asked for a refill which we had to ask for several times . Food wise, it was OK. Hubbys tater tots were hard and tasted stale. I ordered the hot honey sandwich and asked for no cheese and bacon and they brought it with the honey on the side which made the chicken sandwich very dry. We came on Sunday around 3pm and two other tables were there so I don't understand why the service was so terrible. read more

From the friendly and helpful servers, to the outstanding chefs, Firebirds is definitely on our list of restaurants to visit, the next time we're in town. My daughter and husband took me here for father's day. Mattie our waitress was fantastic. All of our sides and appetizers were really good. I got the ages ribeye. Unfortunately it had no taste. The cap of the steak was extremely tough. I only had 4 bites and I could not chew anymore and this was the cap of the ribeye. Im guessing I got the wrong steak somehow. The restaurant was packed and Mattie was super busy but she was at our table often checking on us and keeping the drinks filled. Everyone was very nice and the place was very nice as well. First of all, the service was absolutely amazing!! Probably the best I have *ever* experienced, thanks to our server, Molly!! (And the hostess was also wonderful when we called and when we arrived). Molly had a sparkling personality, gave us great recommendations, was professional, kind, and super friendly. I seriously wanted to give her a hug when we left! As for the food, it was 4.5 stars (except the bread deserves 10 stars!! I don't know what magic is involved but that was THE BEST BREAD EVER!!) We both got the surf n'turf and it was enough food to bring half of it home. The lobster and steak were both huge and tasty. The lobster was a little chewy and the flavor not as good as some I've had elsewhere. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection! But the flavor was a tiny step below others I've had. Still it was all quite satisfying experience and I'm looking forward to having my leftovers! Overall this was a spectacular experience and a great way to celebrate. My husband and I went to eat and grab some drinks from the bar at Firebirds in Chandler. The food was great but to say we were amazed by the service is an understatement. Astasia and Zackary were incredible bartenders and I enjoyed every minute getting to watch them work together. They were both so very attentive while also trying to maintain a bar full of people and make their teammates drinks. Their communication between each other was efficient and I had great conversations with both of them, my husband as well. They kept us very entertained on a busy night with smiles on their faces and that's what we like to see when we go out. The mixed veggies on the Wood Grilled Salmon was much harder than a la dente; the Grilled Salmon with the white sauce was extremely salty & the broccoli was completely raw. It was absolutely not an enjoyable dinner for us. The dinner was about $240.00 and it was absolutely not worth the taste and time at Firebirds. The waitress and the manager were being notified but they both told us unanimously that, "I will make the chef aware of it". Before departure, the the ladies visited the washroom, with toilet paper scattered around ..... ..... It was a filthy washroom that no one would like to go into with a full stomach.
