I wanted to send you a big thank you and an update on our boy Reggie. He is the best dog I ever…read morecould have hoped for. We adore him. We are so grateful for the great choice you made for us. Training was a breeze. He walks without a leash even when another dog is passing or a rabbit hops by. he will sit on place for as long as we want. He knows "scram" which means he can do whatever he wants but not be in the area like the kitchen while cooking or at the table while we are eating. We are working on some upgraded dog tricks. We brought him home in mid November 2025 and very sadly we lost our 30 year old son in January. It has been a rough road of grieving for our whole family. We noticed how absolutely loving and attentive Reggie was when anyone was upset. If I cry, he notices even when I am not making a sound and he comes over to lay his head on my lap and provide comfort. He is so calm no matter what is going on around him. He just recently passed his Canine Good Citizen test at 9 months old. Because of his therapeutic nature we are continuing training and are planning on him testing for Go Team Therapy Dogs in October. The folks at the Go Team have met him and think he is naturally perfectly designed to be part of the team because of his incredible gentle nature and chill personality.

Beware. This breeder has horrible reviews dating back 15 years and there's good reason. Confident…read morethey do not care for their adult breeding dogs and are only interested in acquiring funds. Was able to rescue a stud from this unethical breeder and I am appalled. Owner advised he was up to date on vaccines but did not provide any documentation and did not know when he had last received his rabies vaccine. Dog had sores on all of his joints and was underweight. Owner advised sores were from laying down aggressively on hard surfaces. Dog exhibited either muscle fatigue or possible hip/joint issues when walking or when being assisted into transport rescue vehicle. Owner advised dog was crate trained, however, based on observations since his rescue, that is not the case. Owner could not recall when he was last fed at the time of his rescue. Owner advised they no longer used a specific brand of dog food due to its rising price. The collar on him, which was super tight at the time, didn't even have his name on it but another dog's name. Owner did not provide any (read, zero) documents for him. Dog was also not fixed despite advising they (the owner) were retiring (from breeding dogs) and moving out of state. I hope we can give this good boy a brighter more loving future.

I'm helping my mom do research because she's wanting a golden doodle pup, I see this place was in…read morethe area and good reviews. I decide to call and a older woman picks up I say hello good morning, who do I have the pleasure in speaking with? (I ask who it is I'm speaking with so that I can properly greet her ) she responds rudely& with an attitude "well you called me so you should know who I am" I say oh ok I do apologize but am I calling to Tropico kennels? She says yea. And then goes off on a rant that she doesn't answer her person phone often because she receives calls of people always trying to buy her house or sell her stupid shit. I said oh ok I understand but that was very unprofessional of you, I do not wish to purchase a dog off a business who doesn't know how to be professional or answer a phone call like a decent human being. So I then hung up. I would never speak to anyone that way regardless of the circumstances. Learn to be respectful and polite. Completely put me off and definitely will NOT EVER be buying a dog from this place. I'm editing my review because after a couple minutes my mom said she wanted to try and call to get information about the dogs. Because again my mom is interested in buying a puppy. So my mom calls says hello good morning I was wanting to get some information about the golden doodle puppies you might have. the same woman answers and says oh ok sure but can I call you back in a couple of minutes? My mom said sure not a problem and then the woman hung up. LITERALLY 1 minute goes by and I receive a message from this woman (I have attached a photo of the message) saying nice try! I did reply and then blocked her. Never in my life have I ever had an encounter like this. The woman then proceeds to call my mom back (I have attached a photo of the phone call as well that she called back) (as you can see she called back & the call lasted 14sec bc she was a COWARD & hung up) and say to her that she is not going to sell us any dog because I called and hung up on her, and that she should tell her daughter to not be a bitch. The woman proceeds to hang up. So I blocked her on both my mother & I's phone. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! We were only wanting information about the puppies! Which is why my mom insisted on her trying to call because she really wants a puppy. HORRIBLE experience!

Lisa should be incredibly embarrassed in how she runs her business. I received her bulk email…read moresaying puppies were available. I filled out her form to submit a deposit and had a few questions. Basic things you'd like to know before agreeing to spend $5000. Such as "how much will he weigh?". "I know the type of color and coat I'd like. Does the puppy I selected fit what I'd like?" and "might you have a photo of what he would likely look like fully grown?". I get a reply with her daughters Venmo info and nothing else I kindly asked again about my questions (thinking maybe she didn't see that part) and I get a dismissive reply saying she's too busy and suggests I find another breeder. Every other breeder I've reached out to who are surely equally as busy as Lisa have had absolutely no problem answering a few simple questions before taking my money because they want you to be happy with your puppy. As that is best for the pup and the owner. Her pups are $1800 more than almost any other breeder in the country. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely not because of their outstanding customer service. 2 stars instead of 1 star because she was at least clear that she won't communicate with you until you pay up. Lisa, I took your advice and have placed a deposit with another breeder.

Any questions i have as a first time pup owner, They answer any questions i have. I actually went back in fourth with them for over 3 years until i found the perfect one throughout the 3 years they kept up checking in with me. They Helped me find the perfect one EXACTLY what i asked for! But I can say those 3 years i waited was worth it i love my little pup so much thanks to Doodles LA they made it happen! Not pushy at all like other companies. Straight foward, The entire team is amazing! 1million Percent recommended!!! Lots of breeders out there ofc! But definitely NOT like Doodles LA Trust me on that! Definitely will be back in future:)

We conducted extensive research (over a three year's worth of referrals, articles, friends, family…read moreand online research) and discovered Doodles Los Angeles. Daniel contacted us and asked very specific questions about the Goldendoodle we were looking for. Daniel's expertise allowed us to figure out exactly what we wanted. Daniel maintained communication with us and answered all our questions (there were MANY questions). Daniel gained our trust and we decided to "Reserve" one of their beautiful Goldendoodles. There was no pressure to purchase this specific Goldendoodle. That made us very comfortable meeting this Goldendoodle. Once we met this Goldendoodle, we were convinced he was well cared for, healthy and came from a loving home and environment. This was important for us. We instantly fell in love with Maui and decided on the spot he was a great addition to our family. Maui has adapted well to his new home. This is greatly due to him being socialized and partially potty and crate trained. It's helped out tremendously!! It was a great experience adopting Maui from Doodles Los Angeles! They will certainly get referrals from us!

So, it's taken me almost 2yrs to write this review. I found my little love the same way most ppl…read moreare reading this review, by internet searching. I fell in love with a my teacup Morkie, named Buttons (still on site). Cindy was great and answered a million questions as this was to be my first solo dog. Upon conversation, I found out he was not one of 'their' puppies but rather a local breeder they partner with. Based on his age, weight, breed... he was estimated to be 4-5lbs (like other reviewers have said and a price tag to reflect just that). The process was simple with a deposit & payment 'before' picking the puppy up. It was more cost effective for me to fly out & pick him up and was informed a couple days before that he had some bald patches at his final vet visit. I had the option of either moving on or moving forward but called my local vet who reassured me it was likely nothing to be too concerned about. So, I moved forward & went to Cindy's home to grab him. Again, she was more than accommodating and answered all my questions. And oh man, was I in love with that ball of fluff!!! As mentioned, its now been about 2yrs and after deciding to do DNA my dog, I'm going to say that my 4-5lb Morkie is actually a 'Schnoodle', schnauzer/poodle and weighs 14.5lbs at his adult weight. Needless to say I picked his up at what was advertised as 8/9wks but based on his weight at that time, he was prob closer to 6 wks, which breaks my heart for him to have been weaned from mom that early. He is honestly the best natured dog ever and I adore him dearly. However, I did definitely overpay & was mislead on even the actual breed I was buying. I am not unhappy b/c my Truman is one of a kind but I felt the need to inform anyone (especially during these crazy Covid times) that this is a legit breeder... but to please cautious with your decision. For me, a slightly larger dog wasn't that big a deal but the time & effort & funds that I spent to re-buy & replace things for what I thought was to be a smaller dog was real. I also decided to move forward with recently getting Truman a brother through another breeder just a couple weeks ago and I have to say the process was SO much different with FaceTime-ing with the breeder, only putting a deposit down & not paying in full until I picked my new lil man up. I also was able to see pictures of the parents & get their AKC & genetic testing reports. Overall, the process felt more secure... I feel like this time I knew exactly what/who I was getting. That said, I want to reiterate my baby is the best, but not at all what I signed up for.

Where to start... I bought a Morkie from this local breeder several months ago. I found them online…read moreand their website comes up as one of the main sites when searching for "Teacup or Micro Teacup" puppies for sale. Their prices are extremely expensive but because they were local for me and I could see the puppy first (& fell in love with his picture) I met up with the breeder Cindy. The puppy was a Yorkie/Maltese mix so essentially a really cute mutt that would not have any paperwork but these new designer breeds have been becoming popular and I was excited about having a tiny Morkie who I was assured would max out at around 3lbs. He was 1.5lbs when I purchased him for $3,200 and supposedly 12 weeks old and up to date on his shots, however my first concern came when I took him for an immediate check up and was told he had a terrible case of ear mites. We looked at the simple records I was given and saw that he had supposedly been given several treatments already so the vet ordered another round with the same drug he had been given before. He had a major reaction to the drug and almost died and that's when we started questioning his actual age and wondering if he wasn't actually much younger and sold to us so that he appeared to be a micro teacup. Fast forward to now where he is supposedly 6 months old and STILL growing like a weed and weighing in at 7.5lbs. The vet thinks he will end up between 9-10lbs when full grown. Bottom line, we love him, he is a part of our family BUT... He is most definitely not what we were told and most likely was torn away from his mother at way too young of an age. BUYER BEWARE.... Do not purchase a puppy from this breeder!!! AND, they still have a picture of him as a puppy on their website!
