2 issues.... 1: Everything is absurdly expensive. Why even have a thrift store if its going to be more expensive than a regular stores 2: There was an older lady blatantly profiling people and hovered over people while we shopped which made the experience so uncomfortable. So many people walked in with bags/purses but pulled my sister aside to make her zip it up and make sure it was closed. Also made a couple rude comments "being in the way" even though the store was packed. read more

My favorite place to visit and browse and buy!! They have antiques, records, awesome things...a little bit of everything and lots of other things!! It's so much fun going in there because you never know what will catch your eye. We were disappointed because we were up there Sunday to Wednesday, and they were closed as so many other places. Wow. This place sucked so bad. Not only did the owner make a passive comment about my sister's outfit when we walked in, but she was consistently rude the whole experience. The place is filthy, cluttered, and quite frankly not worth the effort to look through. I found these two mermaid paintings that I really though were cute. Definitely something you'd find at your local boardwalk shop, nothing fancy, just loved the vibe. She was trying to sell these two small paintings with glitter twine hangings for $75 dollars.... so i proceeded to take a picture to google search where else i can find similar paintings. She started grabbing the picture out of my hand and aggressively asking me if that was a part of my purchase today, to which i said no back off. She proceeded to stand next to me arms crossed tapping her stupid foot as though she was the artist and that was a priceless work of hers!!! Mam are we not in a thrift store? Horrible!!! This place is an eBay priced store. The owner simply makes you bring unmarked items to her to be priced off eBay's listings. NOT EVEN SOLD LISTINGS.. This lady priced a rain forest cafe CD at $12.99.. she didn't even know she had it but eBay had one listed for $12.99 so that's the price. What a joke this place is and i highly recommend to not even waste your time. Not a thrift store at all! HORRIBLE!!! Julia told me over a two-week period, that she would come and pick up my patio table, four chairs, two balcony chairs, and a brass lamp four different times. Two of the four times we were scheduled to meet, she did not show, or call. The other two times, she had nothing but excuses. I told her that I brought the items inside, crowding my small condo, to make it easier for the man to remove the items. She said she understood that I needed everything removed, and would get the driver out here. That never happened over a two week period. The fourth time she ghosted me, I let her know that I was upset, and she got very belligerent with me. This is a very disorganized, unprofessional, and extremely difficult woman to deal with. I was in ocean city looking for thrift stores find. I found this cute little shop off of coastal highway next to a 7-11. There were items outside with discount that caught my eye. I stop in and saw a painting that call to me. The owner is very nice; she asked me to come back as she just received the item and has not price it yet. Today I come back and we agree on the price and I pick up the beautiful painting. The store has something for everyone, you just have to look. Such a fun thrift store! This place had a great variety of stuff, not matter what you thrift for most of the time. Yes, the place is a bit on the full side but I don't mind looking for my treasures, that's half the fun! I walked out with a cute lace long sleeve bodysuit, a funky vintage necklace, and a perfect kerchief dress for the beach. Got it all for a great price too. Owner did mention they're working on getting more organized but they have had a big influx of product they're working through. Jeez....there were only a few things good, the owner was nice and helpful and the price of the lamps were good prices. And now the bad, the parking lot is TIGHT. So tight in fact that we were inches away from other cars and merchandise that was stacked outside. This place is a hoarders paradise but with New York City prices. There are narrow pathways room to room and some rooms are just inaccessible. The owner claims she's just opening for the season and that's why is messy but I feel like that just an excuse. Everything does have a price but I stopped checking them when I kept seeing the extreme markup. There were dollar tree items for $3, knives that I've seen on temu for $3 priced at $30. Awful thrift store. Not recommended. First, the owner doesn't honor her own set store hours listed on her door. Doesn't post a new sign letting customers know when she'll be there, she just plain doesn't open. Next, it was so incredibly cluttered! There were racks of clothes that someone clearly attempted to organize... but then there were piles of random items filling in the space in between. I couldn't move down the aisles. Finally, prices for used items are inappropriate. The prices were comparable to the many gift stores in the area for home decor etc. I would be hesitant to recommend anyone head there to do any amount of serious thriftin'. The store needs to have a massive clearance sale, clean, organize, and de clutter. THEN bring in new merch, not while the store is incredibly packed already but the store is closed much of the time for some unknown reason. This is not a thrift store. So many wonderful items but each is priced as if it were an antique. Many goodies appealed to me and I would have purchased them if only the pricing had been fair. The shop should run a bag sale once a month to clear out the store. Merchandise is organized, but in heaps and piles. It's certainly a fire hazard. I felt so welcomed at first as I was greeted nicely and offered help. After a while, however, I realized the staff stayed close to me to keep me under surveillance. This place has great potential. I wish I could give a 0. The store is a MESS and it stinks. Not that I expected to be greeted but the owner immediately told me to take my drink out before even saying hello to me and my friends. When I asked my friend for the car key to leave my drink in the car she (the owner I assume) responded to me saying "what did you say" very rudely. I told her I was not talking to her. I went outside to finish my drink and i looked in the doorway to see her and her employee literally breathing on the back of my friends necks yet not asking if they needed any help or assistance just standing around as if we were going to rob them for used things. We just decided to leave because I would rather not support an unprofessional discriminatory business. A sad excuse for a thrift store - super disorganized and way overpriced for secondhand products. When I picked up a glass ring and asked for the price the owner shocked me when she told me it was $5 per ring. She follows you a lot as if there's anything steal-worthy there. It's also very hard to walk around and it feels like being held hostage inside. If you want a similar experience, just save yourself the hassle and go through a corn maze. The highlight of the experience was spotting a used trial size container of cetaphil lotion for $1.50; yikes. read more

I visited Thrift & Treasures for the second year and was very satisfied with the selection of items for sale. I was looking for small picture frames (5x7, 4x6 and 3-1/2x5) and found a whole tote to look through. I ended up buying 15 frames and the owner gave me an overall 30% discount. The prices were comparable to what I've paid for similar frames in my home town so I was satisfied with the total amount. Although this thrift store may not be to everyone's liking, I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through everything and will definitely return on my next trip to Ocean City! read more

Place has a great variety of items. Not just clothes! But everything is overpriced. Asked the owner about a particular item and they even told me they looked on eBay and thought the high-end eBay price was "fair". If you want to sell eBay prices, then do the work and list your items on eBay! Didn't even try to negotiate on the item, as I'd have better luck bidding on eBay. I ended up picking up a few DVD's as they were marked "2 for 5" on the wall and the other owner said so as well. But as I checked out with the real owner, she changed the price last minute because the DVD's were "sealed" and would be 5 each. She even pointed at an old price tag on it saying it was "once worth 12." Maybe in 2005, sure, but it's an insult to try and make that argument now. Overall, cool thrift, but way too overpriced for any sane person. Nothing is reasonable. Prices need to be lowered. read more

Thrift and Treasures is easy to find. They have some unique items you can't find elsewhere. I thought items were very overpriced for a thrift store. Place was stuffed so was difficult to walk as space is limited. Check your bill when you pay. My wife and I did not coordinate what we bought so we should have checked because owner added up our items as $168 but when we got home we had overpaid by about $60. When things were PILED outside the door, we shouldn't have even walked IN. You could barely walk through the aisles, things were piled on top of each other, and there was only one exit, getting trapped in each room when people were walking through. When I heard her charge $14 for a sun hat to someone, that was the second time we should have walked out. Everything was WAY overpriced. When we heard her call ocean city a "resort", and that's why prices are expensive, that's when we left. $20 for a sundress is unreasonable when you can walk into Sunsations and pay $15 new. This neat find along the main highway in Ocean City does, in fact, have many treasures in store! The business is getting off the ground and is jam packed with vintage items as well as nice beach decor. The staff is friendly and willing to make you a nice deal or offer discounts if you truly like an item. Would like to go back and look through this store again! read more
