Unfortunately their website (Los Feliz Flea Market or Rex Pickleball) doesn't accommodate free drop-in pickleball, only expensive reservations. Limited street parking. There are rows of vendors selling new and used merchandise. I purchased a blouse for $2 and skirt for $5. Both new. What a deal. There are also a couple vendors selling food. There are tables and chairs available to sit down.

I had the benefit of handing out gifts for them at their location on Florence. They actually have a closed off parking structure, so that took away any fear that it might be in an unsafe location. The building itself is really nice, clean and was all decked for Christmas. All the workers for the Salvation Army were really kind and helpful and even offered us food, which I was not expecting. There was one man who worked in the Salvation Army corporate office who brought his family to help out, that was pretty inspiring. I loved handing out gifts to the kids, enjoyed seeing their smiles and excitement in their faces. Also in the gym was a state of the art basketball court, which made me want to shoot some baskets when I wasn't helping out. Overall great experience, and cant wait to help out again next year. I would recommend others to help out with the salvation army during the year or on the holidays.

Some are selling genuine vintage/antique clothing, records, decor and others are selling their personal ceramics, picture frames and more. It's an interesting combination but I would caution that this is NOT a flea market where you can find an armful of treasure for five bucks. The flea market hosts a number of food and beverage purveyors so you can easily get a snack while you peruse what's on offer. But the VERY best thing about this flea market: TONS of free parking in the back of school.

Although the rooftop was hot, there were umbrellas along the walkway and some shaded table seating next to the food/drink vendors. The vendors we met were all so nice and willing to negotiate. Downstairs I found a vintage blouse and was somehow convinced that I needed a winter cardigan. The seller gave me a deal I couldn't refuse! Upstairs my husband bought two vintage shirts to add to his collection. It was then time for a break -- the FYMBAS Matcha Latte and Strawberry Cola Slush were perfectly refreshing. We'll be back. :)

This hidden gem is located in a parking lot across from the iconic Melrose Trading Post between the streets of Ogden Dr and Genesee Ave. This artistic vendor space has over 30 unique vendors spaces that sell vintage clothing, custom items, hand made goods, and boutique local startups just to name a few. The prices are comparable to similar vendors on Melrose Ave. On Sunday, the area starts to get busy after 2pm. Get there early for first looks, good finds, and less people. At 5pm, the Melrose Trading Post closes and this area gets very busy with heavy foot traffic from across the street. Street parking only! Melrose has paid meters. The neighborhoods are free but have parking restrictions and most have a 2hr time limit. Pay attention to the signs. As of this review, the current cost for vendors is $50 for a 10x10 tent setup. It's the perfect spot for any small start-up business that's looking for affordable rates. If you are visiting the area, stop by this artist vendor community. It's a fun spot with good vibes.
