The Los Feliz Flea sale is a medium sized affair in the parking lot/exterior space of Our Mother of Good Counsel School/Church. Unlike most flea markets, this felt more like a craft fair and less like an affair where you rifle through junk looking for a gem. That is to say: there is a combination of different merchants. Some are selling genuine vintage/antique clothing, records, decor and others are selling their personal ceramics, picture frames and more. It's an interesting combination but I would caution that this is NOT a flea market where you can find an armful of treasure for five bucks. The flea market hosts a number of food and beverage purveyors so you can easily get a snack while you peruse what's on offer. But the VERY best thing about this flea market: TONS of free parking in the back of school. read more

The guy who runs this market is incredibly rude and a Trump supporter. He was kicked out of other locations because of his behavior and instead of taking responsibility he chose to personally attack people. He continues vendettas, going after people who stopped giving his flea market money in the neighborhood council as well. We found Los Feliz Flea Market while searching for something to do while in the LA Chinatown area. I was actually surprised that I had not known about it sooner. Runs every Saturday -- free parking and free admission -- yay! We arrived around 1pm -- parking was busy but we didn't find it hard to find a spot. Vendors were upstairs and downstairs in the same structure. We started downstairs. The layout is clean and spacious. I appreciated the cute signs that direct you to each floor. Although the rooftop was hot, there were umbrellas along the walkway and some shaded table seating next to the food/drink vendors. The vendors we met were all so nice and willing to negotiate. Downstairs I found a vintage blouse and was somehow convinced that I needed a winter cardigan. The seller gave me a deal I couldn't refuse! Upstairs my husband bought two vintage shirts to add to his collection. It was then time for a break -- the FYMBAS Matcha Latte and Strawberry Cola Slush were perfectly refreshing. This market is great if clothing, costume jewelry, hand crafted items, and an occasional vintage vinyl record or print is what you're looking for. If the before mentioned is what you need, this is your spot. Not so much if you're looking for home decor. On that, the flea market fell short during our visit. It's possible that vendors of that sort of thing took the day off? There's a pretty good selection of pop up food booths too! American, Latin American and Mediterranean from what I saw. Parking is a breeze too. Just follow the signs and when you see the guide just come on in. Parking is free as is the cost of entering the venue. And who doesn't like free? Overall: Yeah I'd come back to shop here! It's easy to get at and at the very least...there's a great view of DTLA from the location. Come out and support local vendors. You can find anything from retro electronics, LPs, CDs, VHS Tapes, to all sorts of accessories (earrings, watches, rings, hats), and even clothes of all kinds. There are two whole floors. There's a pretty good selection here for clothing, jewelry, and some art. We got some lemonade because it was so hot, there are a few food tent options and seating. There was free parking when we went and you get a good view of downtown! (I'm a tourist). There's an upstairs and a downstairs area, so it takes about an hour or so at least. read more

My review is based off of two greatly selected vendors in specific: FYMBAS and Out of Date Records. I'm always here to enjoy a refreshing tea and find some records. I enjoy both of these vendors welcoming attitude and believe their prices are reasonable. Both vendors have well curated selections of their products. I appreciate that the market has free parking/admission, bathrooms, tables setup with umbrellas. Every time I come I forget to check out the bottom floor but still enjoy my time wandering to check out the lively atmosphere. read more

Los Feliz Flea is a small flea market place in Los Feliz-Franklin Hills neighborhood of LA. It's located at J.Marshall High School. Majority of the stuff sold at this Flea were old classic clothing apparel, shoes, jackets, caps, jewelry, tote bags, used 80's cameras, plants, sunglasses, etc. And they're mostly overpriced with very few exceptions. Vendors seem cool and friendly. Food trucks available. Free Rear parking lot as well as side street parking. You can spend 30 mins and have seen all the booths. We just browse and didn't spend much time at the Flea. Most of the customers were hippie trendy folks who like to indulge with old used clothings which baffled me. Overall, it's a decent flea market. This was my first thrift shopping experience in LA and it was really fun. Parking was easy and finding the location was easy too. There were a lot of booths to shop through ranging from clothing to shoes to accessories. I loved how there was food and drink tents too and we definitely needed something to drink while shopping in the heat. Some places had good pricing, and don't be afraid to haggle. This location also has a bar in case you need a little drinky drink whilst shopping. The market takes place on 2 levels. Top floor of the garage and the bottom floor of the garage. Diverse offerings, in addition to all the thrift and vintage, there was tea available @fymbas and it made a great souvenir. (6/19/21) Forgot all about my summer fling at the Los Feliz flea market. Went with my good buddy, Allen (been friends for ages, much longer than any Hollywood marriages by many standards). zig was beautiful m, warm & gorgeous day in LA. Found many items of note, some gently used clothes& appliances, some vintage items, foods & snacks....such an assortment that I didn't get to snap as many photos as i wished. There's a Scooby Doo Tshirt that was priced at $100, circa 1980's...nope! Fought the urge, that's nuts! It was certainly a collector's dream & a bunch of knick knacks but luckily I was not in the mood to splurge, only to look & be amused. The Los Feliz Flea (at John Marshall High School) has been around for awhile now. One of my neighbors recommended checking it out. So, we came out today to give it a shot. What to expect! A few food trucks lined up outside, free parking, and lots of peeps selling stuff. We walked inside throughout the market and found this is a great spot if you like thrifting. Stalls included - -preowned clothing -Homemade candles -Gold plated minimalist jewelry -one coffee/latte truck -lemonade stand -stones and essential oils -book bags -new hats I loved the homemade items, like candles, jewelry, stones, those all really appealed to me. If I was to come back I'd probably explore those more!! I had this on the bucket list, and got the experience. But, if you haven't you should check it out. Great weekly event if you are looking to add to your wardrobe. Cool space and lots of vendors. Both sellers and buyers seem relaxed (as opposed to large crowds and pushy sales at some other markets). My only gripe is that it's basically all clothing. There's nothing wrong with that, but I would expect more diversity from a general flea market. New to Yelp, but was so impressed with this Flea Market, I had to make a account. We made a visit to Los Feliz Flea for the first time yesterday and are so happy we did. We are from NY and have been in SL for a year now. This place reminds us of BKFLEA from back home. Large market but easy enough to shop with everyone. Happy crowd, lots of dogs, and food trucks. This place is not all clothing like one closer to where we live now. We met 5 Artists, left with Antique Art, and a pair on boots from the 50's. Be back next week. Beautiful flea market and the people are friendly. The tacos were good, as was the tea and coffee. My friend enjoyed the salad dressing selection. It is on the smaller side, good if you don't want to get overwhelmed. I did indulge here but the prices were high. Drove down from the Bay Area to visit my son in college. I wanted to go to a flea market and found this one. There were so many vendors, with so many different styles of clothing. There were bathrooms, food trucks, and sweet strawberry treats. We were there for three hours. Overall I would highly recommend it for vintage shopping. read more
