This review is mainly for the DJs. I do not recommend hiring these guys to play music at your party or wedding because they will not listen to your song requests. I was helping my friend with the music choices for her wedding recently because she wanted the perfect playlist of love songs to be played during her event. From what I understood, the Thrillogy guys would copy the exact playlist, add a few of their own songs to twist things up, and then the night would be over. I had given them a list of about 50 songs to fill up only 4 hours of the night, songs that the bride and groom wanted for their special day, and these DJs only played about 20 of them! The rest were their own choices that included break-up songs, and other songs that didn't fit theme of the wedding at all! Are you kidding me? My friend paid so much for their service and they couldn't even listen to what she wanted on her own wedding day? I felt like I had let her down. In addition, near the end of the night, I went up to them to request a change of songs, and they gladly complied to my face, but they never actually played anything I asked. They continued with their own choice of music and completely disregarded the playlist that was given to them. Very disappointing service, stand-offish, and not worth the money. read more

My wife and I were looking for an MC and DJ for our wedding reception. We found out about Thrillogy Productions from a friend and met with Brian. From the start he was very professional and we had a shared sense of ease in speaking with him. Brian was patient and answered all of our questions sincerely while walking us through a typical wedding timeline. The most important part was that Brian is bilingual in Vietnamese and English - which was very important for us as our parents and most of our guest only spoke Vietnamese but we also had a good arrangement of English only speakers. He performed our reception introductions in Vietnamese and spoke lots of Vietnamese throughout the night to keep our guests involved. Throughout the planning process Brian kept in contact with us and made sure we were on track with planning all the music for all the different phases from first dance to final song. Just hired Thrillogy for my wedding recently and I got to say Brian and his team was awesome from start to finish. Brian was very professional and fun all around. I just had my wedding this past Saturday...yes, on Halloween. No, it wasn't a costume party..but yes, it was fun and HECK YES our DJ was the BEST. From the first meeting we had with Brian, me and my now husband (so weird to say that still....) liked him. He was always on time and kept in communication via text and e-mail. We used his DJ services, as well as emcee services, along with a monogram for our wedding. My now husband's family is Vietnamese but my crowd is mostly English speakers, so it was important that we found an emcee that could speak fluent Vietnamese but also not be a fob and speak excellent English.
