I initially began care with this office for general dentistry and was referred for an orthodontic consultation. I chose to proceed with treatment, and my braces were bonded. At my very first adjustment, I was told that all eight of my front teeth were at risk of falling out unless I underwent bone grafting surgery, which would delay treatment by at least three months. This concern was never disclosed to me prior to starting orthodontic treatment. Had I been informed, I would have addressed any surgical needs before beginning braces. I sought a second opinion, and that provider advised that bone grafting was not necessary at this stage. When I called to have my braces removed and to discuss my concerns with management, I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back. I did not. After multiple follow-ups, I was informed that the COO, Samantha Green, had reviewed my chart and decided I would not be receiving a refund -- despite the fact that I have never spoken with her directly to express my concerns. If you value clear communication, informed consent, and access to leadership when serious concerns arise, I would recommend proceeding with caution. read more

Inconsistency and the lack of knowledge of people scheduling appointments, and insurance they take or not take - be better and make sure you train your workers to have the current info and consistent across the board on all your locations, don't just focus on taking money from your clients. read more

I highly recommend Thrive Dental and Orthodontics. The staff is very professional, kind and caring! I feel like I have known everyone there for many years and they truly made me feel comfortable! Crystal was the first person that I've met at the front desk and she was absolutely great in preparing for my appointment. Later on Alejandra spend all the time to answer my questions in regards to my insurance coverage and she worked on my plan for tooth extraction, bone graft and an implant. She gave me few options and was patient with all I had to ask and very knowledgeable and professional. After that Dr. Tae You did a wonderful job on the extraction and the rest of the procedure. He was so kind, he explained every step of the process and I didn't feel any pain at all during the whole hour and a half of the surgery. They asked me what kind of music or TV channel I would like to watch and during the whole process I was asked several times if I feel OK. Mariana was assisting Dr. You and after we were done she stayed with me to show me the X-rays before and after the procedure. She was very nice and absolutely professional just like the rest of the team. I am very pleased that I found that place! And I did check few dental practices before I made my choice. I told my wife that I have never been so impressed from a dental office comparing Thrive Dental to my previous dentists. She also decided to transfer to Dr. You and she is now a happy patient just like I am. Thank you Dr. You and staff for all your smiles, kindness and professionalism! I really like this dentist but one thing I cannot deal with is having to wait for 30 minutes and then for me to have to go hunt them down and try to figure out how much longer it will be. It wouldn't be bad if they came and found me and said hey, we're running a little late it's gonna be another 15 minutes or another 20 minutes we just want you to know. I would be fine with that but no not today I had to go find them and then I was told after I was already waiting for 30 minutes that it could be another five or 10 minutes. I had to leave. I hated to have to leave. Now I have to reschedule. Plus..... I had already paid! read more

If you want to be upsold like you are buying a car - go to Thrive. They tried to charge me more for one visit than Ive paid in the last 20 years at the dentist. Despite having my insurance listed on their website, I was told my insurance was not taken, despite it being also being listed on my insurance's website. I was told there was a higher quality of care at thrive, but the office staff was discourteous, not helpful, and gave me inaccurate information. It gives me very little confidence in any actual dental work I might have received. read more
