Prices are extreme. Credit card machine was down so had to come up with cash- and that was sticker shock. The place needs a revamp

I met a few friends on a weekday to try out Girl in the Park, a spot they'd been curious about. We…read morewere greeted right away, seated quickly, and handed menus along with the day's specials. The menu is surprisingly broad, with plenty of appealing options. Our server--who was also tending bar--took our drink orders. Soft drinks arrived promptly, and we asked for a few extra minutes to look things over. I considered a burger, but at $25 it felt a bit steep, so we went with a mix of other dishes: Cedar Plank Salmon with Basil Soup, a Keto Cobb Salad with dressing on the side, The Park Reuben with fries, and a Blackened Chicken Panini with fries. Impressively, everything came out in about ten minutes. The Reuben and the Panini were both solid choices, though the fries were only room temperature. The salmon had great flavor, though the rice could have been a bit more cohesive. The Cobb salad hit the mark--fresh, satisfying, and easy to customize with the dressing on the side. Our server checked in regularly and kept our drinks refilled. The crowd was a mix of regulars, retirees, and casual diners, and we found ourselves eyeing other entrées as they passed by. The restaurant also has a great patio that will be perfect once the weather warms up, plus a well‑appointed bar area with plenty of TVs. Winter Olympics highlights were playing during our visit, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. We took a look at the dessert menu, but nothing really grabbed us this time. Even so, we all agreed we'd come back to try more of the menu--there's definitely potential here.

I visited on a Saturday for lunch and had no problem getting a table. The menu had a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and mains. I loved how large of a beer and drink menu they had as well as the fact that their patio is dog friendly! I got the Nana's Meatball Sandwich and loved the flavors! They put the red sauce on the side to add your preferred amount. Any entree to split does add a $1.50 gratuity. Others in our group got The Girl's Signature Truffle Shuffle Burger and The Philly. The flavors were great, sandwich portions were large, but fries could have been crispier. Our server Souzie was incredibly kind, full of energy, and did a great job checking in on us. The items vary in price where some are value driven and some seem to be a premium. Overall, thoroughly impressed by my visit and the food quality. Tip: Check out their daily specials and happy hour to get extra deals!

Once our table was ready, we were seated right away. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so seating is limited and it can get crowded, but it honestly adds to the lively atmosphere. From the moment we sat down, our server was amazing. He was incredibly attentive, walked us through the menu, and explained that the "single" cheeseburger is actually a double patty, while the "double" is actually a triple. He also recommended ordering the bone marrow and saving the jam that comes with it to spread on the burger, a little "Au Cheval hack" that many regulars apparently swear by. We tried it, and it made the burger even more flavorful. I also highly recommend adding the fried egg to the burger. It gave it a rich, creamy texture that brought everything together perfectly. Despite being such a simple burger, the quality of the ingredients and the balance of flavors made it one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The service from everyone: the host stand to our server was exceptional. And while I didn't order the wings, several tables around us did, and they looked and smelled incredible. They're definitely on my list for my next visit. I'll absolutely be back.

Really solid burger. Would give the burger a 4.4 out of 5…read more It can get busy so you can reserve for approx 2.50 a person. Or you can go off peak around 430 and there is a short wait on weekdays. We ordered single cheeseburger, but keep in mind it comes with two patties. The thick cut bacon is an additional 6.99. You can also add a fried egg. We opted not to get the egg as it can get messy. The burger is a hearty, meaty burger especially with the bacon. It is for burger purists who want meat, bread, and cheese. There are a few toppings and sauce inside but it gets overshadowed with each meaty bite. The meat patties are perfectly cooked and the bun is sturdy enough to hold up to the meat and toppings without falling apart. The side pickle is a must have and is included because you will need some acid to cut through the meatiness of the burger. It was worth it because we did not wait very long. However if I had to wait an hour or two i would say come back another time. We did not try the bone marrow which is what seems to be very popular here but given the order of 4 hamburgers and fries we knew it would be too much food for a group of 4. Service was great. Interior was great. My only request is that the music be turned down just a little bit because it is quite loud inside.

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.
