She was pleasant at first then called me back and told me her worker said he was told by the gentleman here that they did not have to worry about there mess he would take care of it, he didn't want them on his property... 1st off there was no man here ( no one was home at all...) 2nd one of the guys was already on the property picking up the big pieces of trash they let go. She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! She did tell me they would be here the next morning between 7-8 am I am still waiting for them but when I called her to ask if there was an eta she blew up on me, was Cussing me out and Hung up on me, Again this was all caught on camera, when I told her I am leaving a review. We reached out to Gary after a referral from our tax preparer and he came to our house and discussed all the options and scheduling and we where so impressed we decided to have all 6 windows replaced and they even completed the trim on our sliding glass door from a previous installer that had not finished his work and disappeared on us. Gary was easy to work with and is very reasonable prices. He came to our house and double-triple measured our windows to make sure everything was ready for the install. We have a bow window in our front room that looks fantastic and my wife's cats have made it their afternoon sunning\nap spot. Since the installation , both window units have exhibited significant defects.Ron tried to tell me the window rot out because of our dogs sit on the seat of the window. I have had 4 other window companies at my house . They said The window needs to be appropriately set on a durable, moisture-resistant substrate. The use of either pressure-treated wood or a suitable high-density styrofoam insulation material is required to provide a stable, long-lasting sill support that prevents moisture transfer and material breakdown. Premier did not do that for this install. Ron did give me a quote to do this if they were to install a replacement window.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

When the written estimate was higher than I expected, I tried to cancel the verbal, smaller project and Joel wasn't very happy about it. But Steve, his manager was very good. I wouldn't say not to use them, but just make sure you get everything you need to make you comfortable with going forward with the project. Again, I wish they would have a single point of contact - one person, one project and better communicate internally what needs to be done. especially when they don't return phone calls.
