Found this spot on yelp and glad we came in. Lots of seating and service at the bar was quick and friendly. Good music and not too loud that we were able to converse comfortably. The drinks were delicious, I can't remember the name but it was some sort of pineapple lime cocktail that I opted to have with tequila. Would definitely go back!

Good bar food at fair prices topped off with fabulous cocktails make for a neighborhood gem! Cocktails were up quickly with our food shortly behind served by pleasant and attentive food servers!

Great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat! Has a Tito's soda and some chickpeas! Hung out for a bit watched some baseball and headed home. I would definitely hang out here if I lived near by. Bartender was attentive and the over vibe was nice.

My favorite neighborhood bar! Great food, good drinks, and two skee ball machines for the win. There's also a Photo Booth. Taco Tuesday is solid and happy hour 4-7 is decent. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I've been here too many times to count and I'm not even a big drinker or bar person. It's fun how they have games to play and nice TVs. Also the bathrooms are usually clean, which is a huge plus for a bar like this. I am happy to give Thunderbird two thumbs up.

Great casual spot to grab a drink, catch the game, or hang out with your gang. The crowd's a mix of sports fans, folks unwinding after work, and locals from the neighborhood. The bartenders actually know what they're doing, happy hour is fantastic, and the loaded nachos are basically a meal on their own.

Chips and queso gets an A+. Huge serving, lots of cheese. The tacos were good, but a little small and dry. Would probably switch it up next time

I stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night. I ordered a soda water because I am taking a break from drinking. I was properly ripped for it but I was served by far the best soda water of all time. The bartender put serious dedication garnishments and everything went into it. I can't wait to come back here when my break is over and order a proper drink.

Dropped into Thunderbird while we were in town to check it out. Parking is a bit tricky and might require a few spins around the block or an uber for that matter. The bar was spacious with plenty of seating, although the tables were a bit sticky. We got there during happy hour (which is between 4-6PM) so we had some options for discounted eats, and ended up going for some guac and chips, wine and some various tacos. The guacamole was nice and fresh and the short rib tacos were the table fan favorite. The chicken taco was unfortunately a bit dry. The service was quick and attentive, overall a great choice for happy hour.

Came here on a Sunday night with a group of six and stumbled into bingo night which was such a fun surprise! The vibe was lively and upbeat, perfect for ending the weekend. We ordered a round of drinks, piña coladas, margaritas, and a Moscow mule. The piña colada was the group favorite- super frothy, thick, and tropical. I had the margarita, which was also really solid and well-balanced. Bingo ended up being the highlight for me. They played a great mix of pop culture throwbacks and current top hits, which kept the energy high. The prizes got bingo were really great as well. Overall, a great atmosphere, good drinks, and unexpectedly fun entertainment. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Thunderbird: The Vibe is Immaculate, the Staff is Iconic, and the Good Times Are Guaranteed! If you're looking for a quiet little tea room with soft piano music and a dress code--keep scrolling. But if you want a sports bar that's bursting with energy, fun, and personality, Thunderbird is the spot. We've been coming here for years for everything from football Sundays to birthday blowouts, and not once have we left without a smile on our face (and usually a new friend or two). The staff? Absolute legends. They're welcoming, vibrant, and yes--beautiful humans who bring the FUN, not some robotic "hospitality professional" vibe. And isn't that why we go to a sports bar in the first place? As for the complaints about tank tops and hair? Babes, it's Los Angeles, not Downton Abbey. Let the team live--and serve--authentically. There's nothing more refreshing than a place where people can be themselves, and that's what makes Thunderbird special. It's unapologetically real, unpretentious, and full of local love. The drinks are cold, the music is always on point, and the crowd is full of regulars who know how to have a good time, and you've got the perfect neighborhood hangout. To the reviewer clutching their pearls: (Rickie D.) maybe next time, skip the bar and try a spa. For the rest of us? We'll be at Thunderbird--cheersing, laughing, and loving every minute of it. Shoutout to all the bartenders behind the bar (especially Evan, Tejah + George) for always making our crew feel like VIPs--even when the place is packed!

They have a good variety and well prices happy hour which was what lured us in. Large bar and plenty of tables and booths as well Metered parking out front. Unfortunately they were understaffed and the poor bartender had to tend to all the tables as well but still got our drinks to us instantly and food shortly thereafter. We tried most of their tacos and I was hoping the puffy tacos to be better, more puffy, not really worth the up charge. Everything was pretty salty and the cocktails horrible, the beer flat and not cold. Chips were stale, great prices and sounding menu, just the execution could have been better.

Anisha is the best, most attentive, friendliest server ever. I'm coming back just because she gave us such great service. She deserves a raise!

    Delicious cocktails

Love this place! Great food & drinks, and great service! Our server Zoey was a delight as well as fast and attentive! We will be back!

There is a category of Los Angeles bar that exists outside the city's relentless cycle of openings…read moreand closings and soft launches and Instagram hype, a category that doesn't require a door policy or a design concept borrowed from a Wes Anderson film. It is the bar that walks in and earns the neighborhood's trust in a few short years, the bar that feels like it's been there forever because it figured out immediately what it was supposed to be. Tiny's Hi-Dive on Pico is that bar. It occupies the old Arsenal space, which if you've been in West LA long enough you watched go through its own identity crisis -- I had a trip-hop DJ residency there in a previous life, before it transmogrified into some paisley-wallpapered ersatz club that couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Tiny's has no such confusion. The name says dive. The floors say otherwise. The cocktails are made well, the food is made well, and the place is clean, which shouldn't be noteworthy but in a city where "dive bar" has become shorthand for either performative squalor or actual squalor, it is. It's a Chicago bar, which in Los Angeles means something specific. It means the hot dogs are correct. It means there are Italian beef sandwiches, and the Italian beef sandwiches are not a novelty item or a nod to a trend but an actual offering from people who understand the architecture of giardiniera and jus and thinly sliced beef on a roll that's engineered to get soggy at exactly the right rate. The food at Tiny's is way better than it has any right to be in a bar where nobody would blame you for ordering nothing but beer, and this is the tell -- when a bar kitchen is good without needing to be good, it means someone in the back actually gives a damn, not because the Yelp reviews demand it but because that's how they were raised. The happy hour lasts most of the day, which is either a business model or a philosophy, and at Tiny's the distinction is academic. The effect is that the place fills in waves and each wave brings a different crowd. The retirement set drifts in around lunch -- guys who've been coming here long enough to have a spot at the bar and a drink that appears without being ordered. By happy hour the mix gets eclectic: locals, people waiting out the particular misery of westbound Pico traffic at five-thirty, students, the kind of neighborhood cross-section that only happens at a place where a beer and a hot dog won't cost you twenty dollars. Later it gets busier and louder and on Wednesday nights there's live band karaoke, which is the superior form of karaoke, the form where actual musicians play behind you so your version of "White Wedding'" sounds ten percent less terrible than it would over a backing track. The jukebox is killer, which is a small detail that is not a small detail. A jukebox tells you everything about who owns a bar -- whether they trust their customers, whether they have taste, whether they understand that the difference between a good night and a great night is often just the right song at the right moment. The owners of Tiny's understand this. They are truly excellent people, the kind of owner-operators who are in the room and who care about the room and who have built a place that reflects something genuine about themselves rather than something calculated about the market. West Los Angeles is not a neighborhood that gets romanticized. It's a place you drive through, a stretch of Pico and Olympic and Santa Monica Boulevard that connects the Westside to the rest of the city, lined with strip malls and dry cleaners and the kind of mid-century commercial architecture that nobody photographs. It does not have a brand. It does not have a moment. What it has, on Pico, is Tiny's Hi-Dive -- a bar where they learn your dog's name before they learn yours, where there are treats behind the bar, where the bartenders will ask about your dog when you come in and mourn with you when they pass. That's not a pet policy. That's a value system. And it tells you everything you need to know about the place.

Don't make my almost mistake. First win: there's actually a solid sized parking lot. That alone deserves a shoutout. The food selection was way better than expected for a brewery. Not just the usual giant pretzels and mediocre bar food, they've got real options. Everything came out fast, hot, and really good. The pizza surprised me (in a good way), and the lemon pepper chicken hit exactly how it should without being overly greasy. Plenty of good beer choices, the service was great and the outdoor seating at sunset is a whole vibe. Also dog friendly, which made it even better, lots of cute pups around. They'd been here before and let us know that things fill up fast mostly on these hot weather days in SoCal but there was still a good amount of seating. I would say by 3 pm it was pretty packed. Small parking lot, we got lucky with exiting parties. Food was better than expected ! Pizza was great, we had the Hawaiian, margarita, and spicy pepperoni with hot honey. Can't complain, all with a thick crust, fav was Hawaiian bc of the sweet tangy pineapple. Wings are bonus, I liked lemon pepper more than the saucy ones. Brews had a nice selection - they had fun flavors like pistachio, cucumber and guava. We did flights and overall, enjoyed it. Would come back!
