got so lucky w getting a table here within 5 mins but it is such a fun lively vibe and the Korean fusion food was done well!! i also really enjoyed it being tapas style designed to try multiple items. the edamame dumplings were my favorite!!! texture and flavor wise it was absolutely perfectly crafted. i would go here just for these. the truffle mac was also super creamy and indulgent- definitely filling and heavy fast tho so great for sharing. music they played was fire- it do be loud tho so expect yelling involved to talk to who you're with. not tons of vegetarian options - i just had 1.5 portions of edamame dumplings and split the truffle mac which was filling i will say
WOW THIS MEAL WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Me and my friends ordered virtually the whole menu for food, and I got a matcha IPA. The servers were good vibes and I loved the cozy ambiance of the place. All of the food was fantastic. So flavorful and perfect. My favorite bites were the potatoes, the noodles, and the steak courses. I will undoubtedly be back here to indulge myself in this greatness once again VERY soon. You must come here, and if you won't, I'll be very mad at you for being so foolish.
Yummy and reasonably priced tapas. The drinks were so cute as they came in pouches and are similar to an adult capri-sun. They are also strong, but refreshing. We ordered 5 dishes and it was enough for 2 of us. Even though portions are small, it's actually pretty filling. The truffle mac and cheese was heavy but had a good amount of cheese to macaroni ratio. The truffle flavor was there but not super overpowering. My favorite dish of the night. Edamame dumplings were different as it had a cheesy flavor and the edamame itself wasn't noticeable. The sauce surrounding it was savory. Also a must get. Wish it was more than 4 pieces. Lucky noodle was super chewy and reminds me of a Chinese noodle soup with ground beef. It has a hint of cumin flavor even though not sure if that ingredient is in it. The steak was super chewy and flavorful but is not a must get. Popcorn chicken was the weakest because it was a bit too dense. Overall, this place was only $100 in total with drinks and in NYC, it's a steal!
Wow--I cannot wait to come back. The staff were so incredible and friendly! The drinks we ordered were obviously very aesthetic, but were even more delicious. Every plate that came was more delicious than the last. It is very cozy so I'd recommend for dates or small groups! It seemed like it would be difficult to have a large group there. Came here on a Thursday night with no reservation around 8:30pm. There was a small gathering of people waiting outside but overall, we waited less than 20 minutes. For 2 people, we shared - Tuna tartare tacos. Small but mighty. Good flavor and fish. - Soft Shell Crab Katsu. Crispy. Not too much batter in the batter-to-crab ratio. - Steak. Very very good and flavorful. That side salad/lettuce was delicious as well. - Truffle Mac & Cheese. OF course, very very very good and creamy. Good drinks (the light inside is so cool!) in a style my partner called "adult capri suns." I didn't know what to order but I asked for what the women at the table next to us had. Lots of fruit flavors. Dark, moody, romantic lighting. Lots of college students--clientele seemed to skew younger. Good service. Dishes came out one at a time.
Had a good experience at Thursday Kitchen recently! They have a modestly sized menu and encourage family-style sharing plates. The food was quite unique with solid flavors. We tried the edamame dumpling, kimchi paella, gnocchi, and steak (which was plenty for 2 people). My favorite was the paella. I found the gnocchi a little watery but the flavors were great. The spot is walk-in only, with a cool speakeasy-esque vibe. While we didn't partake, the Capri Sun cocktail spoof was an innovative, insta-worthy menu feature. This is a great option for a casual dinner when you don't have a reservation!
Group of 6 dined in. Service was great. We ordered one of everything to share (two of a couple of the smaller dishes). Standout dishes: the steak, lucky noodle, edamame dumpling, plantain and popcorn chicken. Cozy and intimate space but try to get a table away from the door as it got a bit chilly.
The ambiance was pretty much a Korean pub, selling anju (small eats) and drinks. The inside is pretty dark and cramped but it was very lively. The plates came out pretty small but my group and I had an ok time. Truffle Mac and cheese: 6/10 it was slightly more watery than other Mac n cheeses I've had but the truffle flavor was strong Kimchi paella: 4/10 not too flavorful, so we used it as filler food Steak: 9/10 probably the greatest thing we had this whole meal. It was slightly sweet and the mash potatoes paired well with it. Ordered another two servings since it was pretty small though, one person could finish two of these

They have a small menu so options are limited. We ordered the strawberry drink, truffle Mac and cheese, kimchi paella, and Korean fried chicken. Out of everything I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese it was sooooo creamy and sooooo cheesey. I can eat that every day. But that was it. I thought the strawberry drink was too sweet. Paella is lacking in flavor and the chicken was too dry and hard, unfortunately. But if you go 100000% get the Mac and cheese
This place for me is hard to rate. I like the food yet it does not really make me feel like I should recommend this place to my close friends. The kimchi paella was too wet, and the umami flavor is lacking. However the shrimp was cooked very well and seasoned really well. Kimchi has a lot of water and I think they didn't recognize the water of the kimchi so the seasoning was diluted and it couldn't get a good char like normally paellas do. The edamame dumplings were surprising better than I thought but the use of truffle oil, Parmesan and lemon together kinda brought the pungentness too much. The truffle Mac was really good, I really like the char it gave it more flavor. It was also too soupy tho. I wish it was just a bit less soupy. My favorite was the steak tho. The flavor on the steak was insane. The kayle was really good but just a tad bit salty for me. The grits though was probably the best grits I've ever had. Even if it's not authentic for some people but I really liked it, the cheese was the right amount to give the umami instead of pungentness. I just really wish the steak could get a better sear and it will literally be some of the best steak I have. Overall the vibe of the place was really nice but the music is just a little bit too loud. I was constantly shouting like I was in a club or a rave, which if that's the vibe you like then go for it. Overall decent and if you wanna try something new in the area, it is definitely not bad.
Excellent and friendly service. Cute ambiance and concept. This is the perfect date spot, the quality for the price is fair in my opinion. The flavors and execution of the food is impeccable. The asparagus is so delicious, I could drink the sauce it's served with. The steak was perfectly cooked and again the sauce was finger licking good. I will definitely back, this is now my favorite spot on the LES and I'm very curious about the dessert menu.
Delicious food - edamame dumplings are my favorite !!! The steak is delicious as well. Drinks are always tasty and fun. Highly recommend !
Didn't take enough pictures here because we were too busy enjoying the food! Our group of 8 ordered 10 of the small dishes which ended up being a good mix for us. We loved trying all the fun combinations - the truffle mac n cheese (very strong truffle!) and soft shell crab were highlights for us!

Love the idea of Korean tapas! Every dish is reasonably priced. We got the popcorn chicken, gnocchi, lucky noodle, paella, and the plantain for two people which was enough. The gnocchi and lucky noodle sauces were amazing. The gnocchi had a sauce similar to a teokbokki and had a nice kick. The lucky noodle had great texture and with the sweet onions, had a nice sweet and spicy mix. The popcorn chicken was cooked well. The paella was a nice mix between Spanish and Korean flavors. The only thing we didn't like was the plantain as it was just half a plantain and the dip it came with didn't mix well in my opinion. The drinks tasted stronger than I expected but that ended up with the drinks being a little bitter. Service was nice and quick here! This is a great spot for a girls night out. We came at around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and were able to get seated immediately. Overall, really good! read more

They have the best mac and cheese I've ever had, no exaggeration. TL;DR - mac & cheese, never had better. Steak on the rarer side, its accompaniments are yummy. Dip the steak into the mac. Wait is long to get seated & once you're seated - well worth it though if you get seated. I had it for the first time 3 years ago and thought about it weekly since. Got to try it again (2025) and have confirmed it's the best!! The macaroni is a perfect chewy al dente, and there's 4 cheeses that are mixed and gooey with a perfect non-overwhelming flavor. Last time we got the popcorn chicken which wasn't anything special to us, and this time got the steak which I enjoyed. It's on the rarer side and you don't get to pick. The sauce that comes with the vegetables was delicious, a sweet & spicy Korean flavor. And the grits went very well with it. My favorite part was dipping the steak into the mac and cheese The vibes in there are dark yet lively. Reminds me of a pub almost. Service is friendly and attentive - all orders are cooked fresh so the wait can be long, we waited 30 min for our 2 dishes. Important to note, they don't do reservations so you likely have to wait to get seated. The area is fun though so put your name down and walk around :) read more
No wait for 2 on a Tuesday around 8:30pm. Dimly lit ambiance, loved the vibes. We shared the edamame dumplings, asparagus, kimchi paella, truffle mac & cheese, and the ugly potato. My favorite was the edamame dumplings for sure! They were so creamy and flavorful and each bite was full of the delicious filling. Asparagus was my next favorite - full of flavor and loved the bread crumbs (?) on top which added texture. Kimchi paella and truffle mac & cheese were tied for me. Both were pretty good but not particularly mindblowing. Ugly potato was probably my least favorite, they were pretty soggy and didn't go that well with the feta cheese in my opinion. Needed more of a balanced flavor overall. Drinks were pretty good and came in a light-up bag. read more

We couldn't get in the first time we went, but glad we went back a few weeks later. The vibe inside is super casual but the lighting a décor elevates it dramatically. You definitely need to order a few dishes so bring friends, but there are plenty of options for vegetarians (try the truffle mac and the edamame dumplings--you're welcome). The ugly potatoes were just fine but that's more of a testament to the other dishes being so good. Overall it didn't take long to get our orders, my only watch out is that there aren't any cocktail options. There's an adult juice pouch situation, but I passed on it--I have an aversion to glow cubes. read more

A fun spot for fusion Korean tapas -- they're best known for their alcoholic pouch drinks (think adult Capri-sun). It's a small restaurant, would definitely recommend coming with a smaller group to avoid squeezing into a booth. Probably my fave restaurant I've been to in 2024! Have always heard about Thursday Kitchen and just assumed I would get to it when I would. Regret not going sooner! No reservations, walk in only. Went around 7, it was a full house but no wait! What we tried- Pure Strawberry: One of the adult capri suns! Pretty sure they pre make this in bulk. Good strawberry flavor, strong! Heirloom Tomato: Probably my least favorite dish but not bad! Wanted something fresh. Leans on the sweeter side Lucky Noodle: I'm OBSESSED with this texture. So fresh and chewy! Qq texture. Nice spicy meat sauce with a lime yogurt sauce on top! Loved this Truffle Mac & Cheese: I have a love/hate relationship with truffle. This was good! Not too truffle-y. Sauce was nice and luscious, not clumpy at all. Broccoli was actually cooked well! Still had a nice crunch to it Korean Popcorn Chicken: Good, crunchy, nice sauce. I would put it as average on my scale of KFC Steak: Loved that this comes medium rare only, as it should! I got this DoorDash'd and it arrived perfectly (granted I don't live far from this place lol) they put the soy glaze on the side which I was grateful for so it didn't mix in to the kale (it had a diff sauce on it) or the feta grits which I also loved! I highly recommend going either with a friend/date or group! Good pricing. A bit busy but that's the fun of it! Note: I tried to go on a Monday 30 minutes before their last seating and they had closed early bc it was slow. My friend took me to this place because she recommended it and I trust her with my life. She ate here several times with another friend, so she already had the food recommendations down. So many good food choices with one of my favorite people. We got the lucky noodle, duck confit empanada, truffle mac & cheese, kimchi paella, but most importantly the edamame dumplings. We really loved the Edamame Dumplings, so we ordered two servings of them. We could have just had all edamame dumplings if we were irresponsible about eating in a balanced way and about being true gourmets. The vibe is totally hip and trendy. We waited for a while because of how popular it is. Even the bathroom line was popular. I am still dreaming about the edamame dumplings. read more

This is a hip Korean fusion tapas spot, and I highly recommend coming here in a group so you can try as many items as possible. I came here for dinner with a large group of 7 people, so we got to try almost all of the items on the menu. Everyone unanimously agreed that the best thing on the menu is the steak. The steak was super juicy and tender, and the decadent grits paired so well with it. The edamame dumplings, soft shell crab, and truffle mac & cheese were pretty tasty too. The only thing that I didn't really enjoy was the lucky noodle. The flavors were a bit strange, and the noodles were too overcooked and soggy. read more
objectively, everything was delicious but nothing blew me away (and i think this spot was hyped up for me by several people). i liked the kimchi paella and the edamame dumplings the most. the truffle mac is super creamy (but a little heavy) and the popcorn chicken reminded me a bit of panda express orange chicken (OBJECTIVELY STILL DELICIOUS). the place has great vibes but it was a little loud and hard to hear ourselves. i like the walk-in style of this spot and we were seated quite quickly. read more

Delicious fusion korean tapas near St Marks place! The restaurant is quite small and loud but the service was nice and we enjoyed the food! The portions are smaller but we ordered 7 dishes for three people and we were stuffed! Loved that we were able to try almost everything on the menu and the price is quite fair too. Highly highly recommend the edamame dumplings, was the highlight of the meal. Would be a great place to drink with friends as well! read more

This place does NOT disappoint! We made sure to get there between 5-5:30pm because prior visits proved that past 6pm there is a significant wait time because of how great this spot is. Luckily there are plenty of cute stores and bars nearby to pass the time as you wait, since they don't take reservations. Let me tell you- the food is WORTH waiting. When you enter, it's inviting and dimly lit without going full dungeon mode like some places where you can barely see the faces of the people sitting next to you. For drinks, we got the golden punch mocktail (the best tasting drink of them all), ruby the gf, lychee reach rich (which came in glow up capri suns which was super fun), and the soju sour. They were all quite refreshing! For food, they recommended 2-3 plates per person. We got the heirloom tomato, ugly potato, chilaquiles, kimchi paella, soft shell crab, lucky noodle, truffle Mac n cheese, steak, and duck confit empanadas. The flavors went well together but our top tapas were the heirloom tomato, soft shell crab, lucky noodle and Mac n cheese. The steak was cooked more rare than medium rare which we didn't mind, but it would've been nice to have some course salt on top and the kale served was incredible. I could've ordered a whole plate of that kale. The lucky noodle was AMAZING, it had a slight kick and was super flavorful with some nice contrast in texture. Service was attentive and our waitress had good recommendations, we had a great meal and overall experience. This place has to go on your list of places to try. read more
Overall rating: 4.4 - 4.6 Price: $66 w/ tip I'm so torn about this rating that it has to be range. When I walked by during the week, the place was empty. So I understood why they only do walk-ins. However when I arrived on Saturday at 6, it was crowded! I was the last one to get a table but not sure if "table" is the right term. Maybe a makeshift table. I was seated next to the door and it was freezing. And being so close to the door, I had people waiting literally next to my seat. I've never felt so unseen as a solo diner. Items I ordered: - plantain: 4/5 good - Edamame dumpling: 5/5 great, but wish there was more portion - Tuna tartar taco: 1/5 not worth it - Popcorn ice cream: 1/5 I don't know why I thought this was literally popcorn ice cream. No, it's popcorn on ice cream. Unfortunately, I found myself at another fusion spot without realizing it. The service was okay. Not the best, not the worst. The seating was my biggest turn off & likely won't be coming back. If you're going with a group of 3 or more, I recommend. read more
Came here for dinner and had a pleasant time. Came here on a Friday at 7 and had to wait 30 minutes (they don't do reservations) and it was worth the wait! We ordered the popcorn chicken, Mac n cheese, steak and gnocchi. I had the cutetini to drink. Everything was super delicious and well cooked. Super flavorful. The servers were great and the music was great. Seating is a bit tight, but it is what it is. Would come again. read more

The highlight for me was 100% the edamame dumplings with this delicious truffle sauce and Parmesan sprinkled on top. This was the chefs kiss! The beef steak was quite good too. The noodles had a kick and could be skipped. The tacos were good too. The empanadas were find also could be skipped but the sauce really made this dish. The berry bread pudding was really good too. The food is decent. Some dishes are tasty. The main reason behind this rating is that I saw a dead cockroach in the bathroom. That definitely ruined the whole experience for me. In terms of food, the kimchi paella and soft shell crab are good. They recommended 4-5 dishes for three people. The portion size is normal tapas size. The staff is friendly. We went right at opening, so there wasn't a wait. read more

Been wanting to come here for quite a few years, the operating hours and lack of reservations made it a little difficult for us to make it here, but we finally made it, unfortunately on a busy Saturday night. The hostess was very nice and said the wait was approximately 45 mins and we were seated at about 55 mins. The server was very nice and available overall. They wanted us to access the menu with a QR code but AT&T had no service in the restaurant so we had to get the physical menus anyway. The food was amazing, I mean each dish was just so delicious. The heirloom tomatoes were so fresh and the cheese sauce was the perfect combination. My seafood kimchi paella was so full of flavor, it really soaked in the seafood and kimchi flavors perfectly! The rest of the dishes we got were no disappoint either! I truly could say that all the food tasted so yummy. I'm sure it's because it was a busy Saturday night, but our first hot food did not arrive until after about 35-40 mins since we sat down, which, if you have a group of people and are chatting it up might not be so long of a wait; but for only 2 people on a date night, it seemed like forever. They were very nice in that they gave us some free ice cream samplers at the end bc we were a little impatient with the wait, which we appreciated. I think this is your typical college hang out place and maybe I am a bit old for these kind of spots but it was so so loud in the restaurant, couldn't hear anything without yelling. Not sure if it's a good spot for young professionals who are busy and wants a nice date night dinner. I would love to come again bc the food was so delicious, but given the many roadblocks mentioned, it would be difficult for us to come back...overall though, definitely worth the try! read more

This is my Favorite place in NY. I will have it every time I visit. This is on of my fav places in general. Each dish is a different experience and it's heavenly each time. I do recommend going with a group of 4 is the best it's served as sharables. And they can only sit 6 at a table for their max. There's also no reservations so it's first come first serve. If you enjoy truffle then get the Mac and cheese. We got two serving of the crab and the steak. . And for dessert they have a monkey bread on there PLSS GET IT. U will not be disappointed with this place. Enjoy service is fast and efficient and relatively friendly. read more
There's nothing wrong with this restaurant, but none of the food was good nor impressive. I found the truffle mac and cheese not tasty, and the popcorn chicken was just okay (blend, not crispy). I was excited to try out this place because it has high ratings on yelp, but it unfortunately turned out to be the biggest disappointment among all restaurants that I've tried in New York. The ambience was not bad, but the tables were super close to each other. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. read more
