The drinks are served in pouches which I don't quite understand the appeal of, but there are a lot of great fruit-forward options. The food amazed me across the board. The edamame dumplings are amazing, they're almost creamy inside and the truffle oil really comes through. The tuna tartar tacos had a great balance of richness and freshness, and the kimchi paella was excellent. The truffle mac is definitely decadent so would recommend for those who really like cheesy dishes. The asparagus was less remarkable, but still an enjoyable dish. I really appreciate how each dish surprised my palette, every flavor felt like one I haven't experienced before. I went during July 4th at night before 9pm. There were seat available for a table of 2. I liked the concept of Korean fusion food in tapas version. My favorite was the steak. Once we were seated, the staff attentively checked on us throughout our night. We sat at the outdoor seating below a heater which was lovely given the recent fall temps! We ordered the asparagus, kimchi paella, truffle Mac and cheese, popcorn ice cream, and the strawberry and lychee drinks. ASPARAGUS - My favorite dish of the night! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the perfect level of tangy to complement the vegetable. KIMCHI PAELLA - a definite must try warm dish on a cold day! There was squid and kimchi mixed into the fish and topped with shrimp. The shrimp needed to be peeled before eating but was yummy. TRUFFLE MAC & CHEESE - a complete gamble for me being lactose intolerant but def worth it. The slightest bit salty but truly a comfort dish. The drinks were so fun with the lights and the Caprisun pouch style! Both the strawberry and lychee were made with soju so something to keep in mind if you are not a huge fan of soju. Came here with three friends on a Thursday night at 6 pm. There was a 35 min wait, but it was fine. We went for a walk to the nearby park and caught fireflies while we waited for our text. I liked the ambiance. The place was busy, but it didn't feel overwhelmingly loud or crowded. We saw people sipping glowing pouches at other tables, so we each ordered a cocktail ($14). They have non-alcoholic yuzu tonic in the pouch, too ($8). I had the Lychee Reach Rich. I actually didn't love the taste, but the glow was fun. We ended up ordering four dishes: the heirloom tomato, the truffle mac & cheese, the gnocchi, and the ugly potato. We had a vegetarian in our group, and about half the menu has meat or fish, but literally everything we ordered was SO good, I didn't really feel limited at all. On my weekend trip to NY, my best friend told me I HAD to try this place. She said they didn't take reservations, so we planned to get there kind of early. Heirloom tomato - not special, honey wasn't apparent in the ricotta and didn't add enough sweetness to the bland tomatoes. The ricotta texture was airy and light though Chilaquiles - honestly ordered this without knowing what it is. This was one of my favorite dishes of the night. The tortilla chips are made from seasoned dough. Its texture is crunchy without being too hard or dry. The red onion, cilantro, sour cream scattered throughout made each bite slightly different from each other. There's a dressing of some sort that gave moisture without getting the chips soggy. It's supposed to have mulato chile but not sure if it was in the chips or somewhere else, but the spice level is a very mild warmth, no need to drink water in between. Plantain - the plantain itself was pretty bland and dry in the mouth. Not sure if they added any sauce on it but I think giving it a caramelized exterior can give contrasting texture and flavor. The sriracha goat cheese was definitely spicy but it overpowered the plain plantain. Edamame dumplings - a friend was particularly excited for this one. The soft texture was good, skin wasn't mushy. It bothered me that the truffle oil overtook the subtle flavors of edamame. I don't recall the filling having peppers, only garnish. Maybe adding it inside would help with texture and creativity (or maybe sesame seeds). Korean popcorn chicken - honestly the flavors were more cantonese bbq to me. Regardless I didn't think I would like this as much as I did. The meat is marinated well and through, and not the type where it's super salty or acidic. The exterior remains slightly crunchy despite the sauce. The sauce is sweet and spicy (spicier than expected but still ok) a bit like General Tso but it's still effective. Nitpicky I'd point out that some edges were burnt. Although I appreciate the portion size, I think they should give less or add some side ingredients to go with it. Ten connective bites of this can numb my tastebuds. Truffle mac n cheese - macaroni is always a favorite of mine and the ones they give here are super tiny...CUTE. Problem is I think this is too wet/ratio of sauce:mac is off. I find my bites to be more sauce than mac which I'm sure some ppl like. To me I think it should be an equal balance so I won't be left with a pool of sauce at the end. At least the dish didn't feel goopy and oily in the mouth. Since I was sharing this I can't comment if I'll get tired of this by the end. I selectively didn't eat any broccoli. Kimchi paella - the flavors were good but slightly too wet. The shrimp was tender but that's due to it not being 100% cooked. If they cook it thru and it's still juicy tender then that's more skillful. I didn't like how our last dish arrived 15min before the end of our 90min table time (and they'll actually rush you to pay). I was honestly concerned if they forgot about it. Even though the server recommended to order everything at once, they didn't give us the chance to order more. This isn't the type of restaurant where everyone is occupied with their own dish at all times. We literally had moments of no food. They're popular for their capri pouch drinks. I got it along with everyone else but not impressed with the flavor combination, pouch design (sorry not a fan of disposable containers which if you tell me they reuse these I'll be slightly disgusted), lighted ice cube. Let ppl poke a straw if you want to be more authentic. Overall too gimmicky for me without sufficient substance. It was also a bit stuffy inside. read more

We had been excited to finally try this place with friends and had no idea how to handle the whole "no reservation" situation. We ended up arriving around 5:12pm on a Saturday and it was perfect. We had NO wait time and went right in. I saw some people who arrived about 5 minutes after us be told it was a 10 minute wait - so maybe 5:12 is the sweet spot! Our servers were very attentitive: constantly clearing old plates and refilling water (water refills are the way to my heart). We were very happy about that. We ordered a lot amongst the 4 of us, maybe 10 or 12 dishes, I recommend about 2-3 dishes per person depending on your appetites. Our favorites: Edamame Dumpling Kimchi Paella - delicious although prawns were hard to peel Steak - PHENOMENAL and I don't even like meat, but wow. GET THIS Duck Confit Empenada Lucky Noodle Chilaquiles Korean Popcorn chicken - felt heavy but wasn't bad Things I could have skipped: Softshell Crab - easily my LEAST favorite thing ever, just wasn't worth it at all Truffle Mac and Cheese - Very heavy and just not worth it Asparagus - was good but again I could have gone without Overall it was a wonderful night. This restaurant is very cozy, great date night vibes. I'm a huge fan of fusion so I had to give this place a try. It's tapas style, so for two people they recommended we order about 4-5 dishes. Be aware the dishes are quite pricey, especially for the portion, so things can add up very quickly. These are the dishes we tried (thanks to our waiter's great recommendations): - Edamame dumpling: Really unique flavor I honestly can't describe it, but definitely give it a try - Crispy chicken: I would pass on this. You can never go wrong with fried chicken but I didn't think there was anything particularly special about this dish so you might as well try some of their other fun dishes. - Kimchi paella: So flavorful! Pretty strong kimchi flavor - Steak: I was a little hesitant about ordering steak because I wasn't sure how special it could be, but after my first bite I regretted even having doubts about ordering it!
