Service here is outstanding! Everyone, there are very lively and friendly. They work from a small trailer on the side of the road. There is a bench to sit on, but besides that, there is nowhere to sit and eat. This place offers tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, etc. I ordered 3 carne asada tacos. I believe they were $3.75 each. They were pretty good, but the meat could have been a little more seasoned. The upside was the salsa they make in-house. They have a mild, medium, and hot sauce. Overall, I felt the tacos were not as worth it for the price. It's pretty expensive for what it is. The burrito or bowl might be more worth it. read more

Their home made salsa that comes with their burritos and tacos is the best on the island. I love it. It takes a really good burrito or taco and makes it fantastic. I'd recommend calling ahead and picking up here as it can get busy. The barbacoa and carne asada burritos are our favorite. Our kids eat the chicken burrito. I decided to go with the 'Rice Bowls' which was absolutely amazing and left me wanting more, so much in fact I decided to order the 'quesadilla' which was also equally as good! The rice bowl cake with a choice of meat which I chose carne Asada, the Asada had so flavor, and when eaten with the Mexican style rice, cheese, beans, pico de Gallo, and cilantro the flavor was something that made me feel at home! The quesadilla was simple had cheese and carne Asada, but was still way better than the "average quesadilla." If you're looking to eat good authentic Mexican food Thyda's is the place to go 5/5 recommendation to anyone who is second guessing coming here! So I heard about Thyda's Tacos from a friends Facebook post and thought hey why not try it out. I'm the type of person who likes different types of places to eat but one of my favorites is small finds and hole in the wall joints. They always seem to be the best places to eat. This place did not fall short, I wanted to try everything but the portions were just to good that I got full fast. To sum this all up, everything I had was good and I'd do it again. Now I'll list what I had and what's got my mouth watering to come back for more. Burrito - Asada with the works Tacos - 1 Asada and 1 Pollo because I had to figure out which one was better. Mulita - Polo Okay so I'd order all this again hahahaha, get the grilled onions because they just make everything that much more ono. (Grilled onions by request only) If you only have one or two choices though Id get 3 or 4 Mulita's hands down and that would be my meal. My other option would be the burrito not only is it filling but all the flavors packed into it is enough to leave u wanting more. They also have their house sauce, I don't know what it is but its got a beautiful smoky flavor to it that went good with everything.. Hands down the greatest hidden gem on the island. Not only do the staff treat you like long-time friends, their food is hands-down incredible. As a vegetarian, their jackfruit quesadilla and burrito are insanely delicious -- give it a try even if you aren't veg. I feel like i only write reviews when I'm legit inspired by the food, but I promise you...I make sure to get out of work by 430 sharp in order to make it before closing here when i have the itch for the jackfruit burrito...and frequently txt their owner to let them know I'm coming. Bought my first burrito there and left with a bad experience. Girl takes my order and ask me if I want guacamole so I said ok. Didn't tell me it was for an additional charge and I thought some people don't like guacamole so that is why she had asked. Then she gets my order wrong by giving me a quesadilla instead of a burrito and makes it sound like it was my fault. If she had given me a receipt as required by Consumer Protection HB395 law then I would have noticed she got it wrong.
