My overall experience here was great. I had like a burrito type dish that was not on the menu, it was very flavorful. I've also tried their trio tacos that had pork, steak, and chicken. That was pretty good as well. My coworker had the cheese quesadilla and he said that that was delicious. Their fried Oreo dessert is out of this world. This is a must have if you come here. When I went, there wasn't that many people saw the person who was in the truck got out and sat with me and my coworker to just chat. That was pretty cool. I'm so sorry I never write such bad reviews but this is definitely one of these moments. I was so excited to come here and try there amazing looking food. I ordered it and they claimed it takes one hour to make. Okay fine I understand they can be busy. When I get there, it takes them almost 10 minutes to even acknowledge I was there. I got there 10 minutes earlier than what what the order was and the order was just sitting there. They could of warned us ahead of time but again I try to let all this slide because i know they were just busy. Anyway, I get the food, come home, had to warm it up and honestly the food is not what I ordered. Worst service ever! I had arrived at 6:20 pm and it took over an hour to get my food. Not worth the drive if you live in Kendall. People before me getting food as I waited & when I went up to say something and the guy told me their fries was going slow to cook. There was a guy in line that knew the cashier and he got his food right away and he arrived way after I did If I wanted to wait over an hour I would have gone to a restaurant and had someone take my order and serve me and earn their tip. I've tried everything from the menu and I genuinely have a hard time picking out what's not to like about this place. The only thing I can think of negatively about this place are the long lines, but good things come to those who wait. My absolute favorite thing off their menu is their chicken crunchwrap and you gotta get the nachos on the side to share. Moderately priced & affordable!! Everything is around $10 or less. Holy hell. This. Was. DELICIOUS! I placed my order online & ended up getting there about 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. When I arrived there was a large crowd of people waiting for their food. Nobody was in line to order their food so I just walked up & I was handed my order. Elote-yummmmmmmmmmmmm. Not much else to say because it's elote. Elote are some of my favorite things so give me 5 more. Crunchwrap- holy shit. This was my favorite. I got it with chicken & it was out of this world. The outside was a bit burnt but to be honest, it didn't really bother me. The sauce...the crunch....the yumminess....Definitely getting this again. If it wasn't so burnt on the outside, it would've been perfection. Steak taco- good but I probably won't order again. I should note I'm not really a big meat eater so this was better than other steak things in my opinion because the meat wasn't at all chewy. It was tender. Still not likely to order again but simply because it's not for me, nothing to do with the level of yum. Chicken taco- better than the steak taco, but this can also be attributed to my aversion to red meat. Good but I've decided their tacos aren't their strongest dish. Despite this, I ate around the meat & OH-MY-GOD. Those nachos are fiiiiirrrreeeee I'm not a fan of pineapple on hot foods but they add a nice little something extra. Also, I'm a "saucey" person. I love sauces. I get food with my sauce instead of sauce with my food. Always give me extra. I'll hoard it for my next foray into deliciousness. They give a perfect amount of sauces without overwhelming & drowning the food (like I tend to do). My total, including a tip, was $30. All in all, I was incredibly satisfied, as was my garbage disposal BF who ate all my leftovers. LoL! I can't attest to the wait time since I didn't have one but the staff was friendly enough & efficient with my order, food was GREAT, & at a decent cost. It's very busy on Tuesdays because of all the hype so you will be waiting in line and for your food for quite some time but it is worth it. I don't like how there isn't that many spots to sit down but besides that the food is pretty good quality. I usually stick to the taco trio, which is $9, and it's a great price for great quality. You can also mix and match the flavors to try a little bit of everything. I personally love the chicken tacos because they're very flavorful. Honestly before coming here I read the few "bad" reviews and I must admit I figured this would definitely be a hit or miss, or maybe it was just passed its prime due to recent reviews. I'd like to first add that I did go on a Friday at around 3pm (not too busy) which honestly everyone complaining is stating it's a long wait and long lines and sometimes cold food. From someone who's worked in the service industry in restaurants For over seven years I can guarantee that this is the NORM. it's a shame people will give you a one star because there was a long wait for example because that has nothing to do with the quality of the food. ANYWAY. I'm so glad I stopped by! I'm used to quesadillas and tacos tasting food because of the sauces and cheese that's added, but when I tell you the actual meal is delicious by itself! The food from Tiagos usted to be great, now it is below average! They have gotten very SLOPPY! Before, the menu items that you would order would be neat, tasty, and presented nicely. Now, they come in boxes that are dirty on the outside and inside. The tacos used to be neatly prepared with chips, now they're just throwing cheap meat in a corn tortilla (forget the chips). And they're famous fried oreos, the ones that used to be warm, gooey, and delicious, now have uncooked dough mix when you bite into them. After a long 12 hour shift, the site of this beautiful truck was just what I needed. The queso frito is the best I have ever had! It is fried and tossed in some sort of amazing glaze from the Gods. I really wanna love this place because it's so close to me but every visit gets worse and worse. The service is... just ok.. The nachos and quesadillas are always burnt when I get them and they always forget atleast one or two things from my order :( The only good thing from here is the crunch wrap, which i LOVE. But to wait an hour and a half for just a crunch wrap gets kind of annoying so I rather just go somewhere else. Don't even bother ordering ahead, because they'll tell you it's an hour wait time just to show up and find out your food has been sitting there and is supeeerr cold and soggy. I lived in El Paso, Texas on the border of Juarez for 16 years. My wife is from Sonora, Mexico. That said... Customer service was excellent! They have a friendly and hard working staff! I am not sure why, but the burrito was more like a massive meat mix that belonged in a poke bowl, with a large tortilla wrap on it....like a burrito on steroids. If that's your thing, fine, but we did not like that, but may have if the mix tasted good to us, which it didn't. For my palate, it also tasted like it was missing flavor. This burrito did not sit well in our stomachs (that's the most detail I'll give you). The tacos al pastor were not real Al Pastor, they don't make it from the rotisserie meat, but it still tasted ok.i tried the chicken taco, was a bit bland too. They have Mexi-Coke, so that was the best part for me. I think I'll take a massive, hard pass at coming here again. There are better options out there for Mexican food (Tacos Morelia in Florida City or Fiesta Mexican Grill in Doral) and even Mexican Fusion (Avo Taco), not many, but there are good ones. Just had Tiagos fries with chicken, steak, and sausage and queso frito added. The Uber driver had another stop along the way so the fries were not piping hot. But they were still warm. The presentation was really expressive. I didn't take a picture. They put a ton of meat. A lot of queso. They went a little light on the sauce. I didn't taste the sauce much. Maybe for future they could include sauce on the side for those who want more sauce. Overall it was very delicious. So far it is sitting well on my stomach. So, compared to my usual Mexican go to, which is Ernestos, (I've never been to the location on 152st, I've only been to the one on Kendall drive and US1.) I think Ernestos is more authentic. I really loved the fries but they were more of a novelty and not so much authentic Mexican food. So comparison as far as meat and flavor... the chicken.... Ernestos uses chopped chicken. Looks like chicken breast and it's seared and seasoned very Mexican. Tiagos, the chicken was my least favorite being bland and looked like shredded rotisserie chicken. Maybe they bake their chicken? Different texture and definitely not as flavorful. The steak.... Huge difference. Ernestos the steak is flavorful and sprightly tough. Tiagos it was also flavorful but very soft. Like maybe they marinated it for a long time before cooking it. I had to bite a piece and examine the texture cause I almost thought it was ground beef. They chop the beef very small compared to how I'm used to having it. I had a couple tougher bites but most of the beef was very soft. But the flavor was very good. So no complaints. The sausage.... I'll be the first to say I have not had sausage from Ernestos. Even though I really like the Mexican sausage in tacos etc. But I usually get the tres amigos or a delicious enchilada with one taco. The tres amigos at Ernestos is steak taco with guacamole and pico de Gallo, a barbacoa taco with onions and cilantro and a carnita taco with onions and cilantro. I'm so hooked I haven't tried anything else on the menu. So now that I have completely advertised for a different restaurant (Sorry!!!), Tiagos sausage was my favorite flavor. The grease soaked into the fries which gave the fries flavor since there wasn't hardly any sauce. Over all I LOVED the dish. The queso frito had a sweet flavor which is probably the honey they put on it. I found it to be tasty because the queso is usually very salty. Will def order again.
