I went to this restaurant for lunch today, the food was great and they have GF options. I saw an item on a poster in the restaurant but couldn't find it on the menu. The counter behind the register was cluttered with containers, I asked for a rice crispy bar and instead of having them arranged to pick one, the service attendant moved the things around on the counter and found one. When I went to enjoy it, it tasted stale, looked like an employee made them at home and brought them wrapped in plastic wrap. The noodles and co woman worker on Gateway st was insanely rude and off putting. I walked in to place a pick up order and she looked me dead in the eyes and wouldn't speak. I went here again after having a sub-par experience last time hoping it would be better as I've had good food here before. Regrettably it was awful. I arrived with two friends around 4:45pm on a Sunday. We ordered two regular Wisconsin macs, one with Parmesan chicken. We also got the cheesy garlic bread for free. The mac was incredibly undercooked to the point where it was crunchy and stuck to our teeth. It was like it had spent one second in boiling water. My friend asked for his to be redone and the second bowl was only slightly more cooked. The Parmesan chicken was very salty so the entire bowl was salty. The bread was just alright, we didn't want to finish it. There were three employees there while we were there and they were goofing off and laughing. I don't have a problem with employees enjoying their work - it only becomes a problem when they deliver undercooked or uncooked food. One of the employees sat at a table and started eating and drinking an energy drink and belched super loudly which was off putting. Noodles & Company is definitely a casual dining establishment. The atmosphere is relaxed and the process is simple. As you walk in you see a menu board with the options available. Then you proceed to the register, place your order and take a table. Your meal is prepared then brought to you. The staff is very friendly and polite. The lighting is a relaxing dimness without being dark. The establishment looks and feels clean and the booths are firm, comfortable and spacious enough to not feel jammed in. The food came out incredibly fast, that did not take long at all, but then we did get there after rush hour and pretty much had the place to ourselves. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp. There was an initial vinegar taste that caught me off guard, but it disappeared after another bite. The peanut sauce is very light. I wish it had more of a peanut flavor and was a bit thicker. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the shrimp was good and cooked well. The parmesan bread is tasty and comes with marinara, it has a rich deep flavor. Potstickers are full and maybe could be cooked just a little bit longer. The flavor was light. The dipping sauce for the potstickers was nice though with a bit of heat to it. This is the kind of eatery to quench that craving for a particular noodle or Pad Thai dish while having an on-the-go kind of a day. This place has a meeting room, which was very convenient. 17 of us were seated, and we placed our orders. The waitress was nice, and handed out separate bills, which we appreciated. My husband and I ordered tofu and vegetables, braised pork and noodles, and steamed dumplings. My favorite of the three, was the tofu and vegetables. I didn't like the seasoning on the braised pork. But I did like the noodles. Tasted fresh. Dumplings were prepared well, but it was rather bland, compared to other dumplings I've had elsewhere. They didn't have hot mustard, so I used the hot (spicy) oil, and mixed it with soy sauce, to dip my dumplings into. If you like Chinese food, try this place. Overall it was good, which is why I gave this place 4 stars. Better than average. But not great. Try it for yourself. Worth a visit! read more

When ordering for delivery, I order a salad and was asked specifically what kind of dressing I want. I picked a dressing. When I get my salad there is no dressing. You guys had one job. Arrived at 9:20pm the girl in charge told the person ordering food ahead of us , that they would have to take their food to go if they couldn't finish it by 10 pm because they were closing. It appeared like they were closing when we got there. They were pouring water all over the floor to clean the floors. Something you think would be done after they closed , totally unsafe and unprofessional plus it didn't smell good. There were no signs of any kind telling you the force were slippery. I went here for a quick bite with my Dad. It has been a long while since I have been here. I used to come in with my boys for lunch. It is good, just not ranked up there high on my list. It will do when in a pinch, or near the mall. They have an assortment of noodles, and salads so that it accommodates most picky eaters. I like to try to eat gf most of the time, and they have those options. The food is pretty flavorful, and they are really good about being able to not put onions in the dishes I order. Today I had the green curry noodles with shrimp. It was pretty good, and spicy. My Dad has the Phad Thai with chicken. We split the pot stickers, and also some meat balls. They were just alright to me. Nothing to write home about. I would probably get the pot stickers again, but not the meatballs. They were not gross, just seemed like a lot of msg maybe? In the past I think I have tried the Cajun pasta, mac n cheese, and maybe the one with peanut sauce. All not bad choices. If you're looking for a quick, yummy meal, this is it. Plus it's better than the "food court" stuff inside the mall. My husband and I go here every couple of months when we are looking for a quick and comforting meal. We usually walk over from the mall while shopping if we can't decide on something to eat inside the mall. My go-to is the steak stroganoff and chicken noodle soup. The steak is always cooked well, not overdone. My husband likes the pad Thai. Portion sizes are good. My husband always finishes his, but I never do. I end up with leftovers. Which is just fine with me. They have a very interesting soda machine. It's a touch screen Coke dispenser with a million different choices and additions to basic soda items. My husband loves the soda machine more than anything. He's like a 5 year old with it, trying different combinations. Parking isn't bad, if you park behind the restaurant. It's a bigger lot than expected. The prices are pretty decent as well. I don't think it's overpriced or anything.
