Trying to convince myself $70 for these plain Jane was worth it? [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked if she could file them a little more to make them skinnier she blamed my fingers and said it's because of how they are.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Okay? Never asked me if I liked the shape or anything.. I kept telling her I wanted them more slim and she said " ok yes! I know! I will do it at the end" gave her some faith but still ended up looking hideous.. I'm so tempted to cut them off but I leave for vacation. my appt was at 4, she had another appt @4:30, and we didn't finish til about 5 so her 4:30 appt was waiting on her and felt like she was trying to get me done and over with so she can go to her next client.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]honestly wanted to add some cute nail art or design..clearly by the vibe they wouldn't have time for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She then Drilled my skin it started bleeding right away. My fingers are currently stinging.. and I have TWO CUTS on my pinky and ring finger.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]she then gave me an attitude when I told her she forgot to put clear coat on two of my nails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The technician will start with a scalp and shoulders massage. Then she will start with shampooing and more massaging. My treatment was for 1 hour. DO NOT GO HERE. This is by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. The staff was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. While attempting to "fix" a nail, the technician actually CUT my finger--showing zero skill or care. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, I was scolded for being on my phone, and the nail that needed fixing was still not done correctly. Then, unbelievably, I was told they refused to do my pedicure because they "didn't have time," even though the delay was caused by correcting their own mistake. There was no concern for my safety, no customer service, and no accountability whatsoever. This place is careless, poorly managed, and should not be trusted with sharp tools. Complete honesty here. We've never had head massages before and didn't know what to expect, and I'll get another one from somewhere else to compare, because something tells me that this wasn't 100% right. We were hoping for a relaxing experience, but this wasn't it. You can hear the nail salon "noise" over the music, and there were a few kids playing close by. The pressure was a bit on the aggressive side and the scratching was borderline painful. Maybe have a dressing room for changing in and out of clothes? Something a little more private. A blanket should just be given at the start of the massage, not 3/4 of the way through. We purchased a Groupon for a head spa experience here. After seeing so many videos online about what to expect from this type of experience we were so excited for a relaxing evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were greeted right away and taken into the back where they had the bed and dividers (curtains, like in a hospital).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We booked a couples appointment so the curtains stayed open. We were asked to take out tops/bras off and put on a silky tube top looking thing. We were then covered with a cozy blanket. I was surprised at the volume of the music, that the area wasn't closed off and that the lights were on/not dimmed. I was also surprised that this appointment included what seemed to be a facial (I did not know they were going to touch my face and honestly was not thrilled about it- I choose very specific facials when I choose to have them and I like knowing exactly what products are being used). The scalp massage/hair washing was just ok. A lot of pulling/tugging that did not equate to relaxation. They did a rough blow dry at the end so that was nice not to leave with a wet head. Overall I would try this experience elsewhere to compare but I would not return. I would also definitely not pay the "full price" for this service so we were glad to get the Groupon pricing to try it out. 0 stars I had a really bad experience at the Head Spa.The entire service felt way too aggressive -- when I asked her to go softer because it was too hard, she completely ignored me. The "massage" was so rough that I actually ended up with bruises, and my hair was being ripped out during the treatment. The ambiance didn't help either -- there was loud construction next door, and the "salon" area was only separated by a thin curtain, which made it feel anything but relaxing. The facial also felt unhygienic and left me feeling gross afterward. Honestly, I regret not trusting my instincts after seeing the other three-star reviews. they were really nice in the beginning, then I guess they were getting tired .. because they're quality in their work was downgrading. I booked the appointment at 4:15pm, thinking they're going to be open till 8pm hence the website. It was my first time here, saw so many good reviews and ended up coming here. The lady later told me they close at 5pm, and I think they were rushing because the headspa takes about an hour per person. I wanted to do a cute mommy and daughter date with a head spa and nail but it did not go as planned. The guy on the phone named yang? he said the total would be to get a full set around $50 for each person, and then $100 for the head spa and that if you pay with cash there will be a $9 discount. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was feeling really good in the beginning, got off work was going to treat myself to a relaxing day but instead I was feeling more exhausted at the end[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were laughing and talking in Vietnamese. we felt like they were talking about us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they asked if the nails looked good and I said it was okay, but did not like it. Asked to fix one, but the old lady seemed annoyed and then started talking to the other employees. I still paid the full $131, to be honest I don't think they deserved it, because it was such a horrible experience. See the results and you'll see why, they couldn't even clean up the nail glue that is stuck on my nails. No cuticle cut, no oil at the end nor lotion for both of us. If you don't enjoy doing nails, don't do it because people are expecting good customer service I was nice till the end, please do better next time karma, kindness and compassion. Booked here because I love having my feet and legs massaged when I get a pedi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it was nice but after about 20 minutes into the appointment customers starting coming in as they apparently book appointments on top of each other, and then everything felt very rushed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and I am not sure I ever received a foot massage. When I booked my pedicure service it said it would be 50 min and it was more like 30. I would suggest maybe they don't book appointments so close together to ensure clients get what they paid for. read more

I went again last week for a mani/pedi. I only got the pedi as it took so long I had to leave to go to work. They made me pay in advance to come in the next day to finish the manicure. They told me to come in at 3:30 p.m. I arrived and was told I had to wait as they only had one nail tech. I agreed and went next door to have a coffee. I went back in at 4:00 p.m. I waited ten more minutes. I finally sat in the chair and the nail tech was trimming my nails, then my nail tech jumped up to go blow dry someone's hair. I asked for my money back as I paid in advance, came back the next day, waited, was very patient and flexible.
