The owners (a kind husband & wife duo) welcomed me as soon as I walked in, even though I was a bedraggled mess, having rushed over straight from the car wash in my least polished outfit to make it before they closed. Despite my appearance, they treated me like a VIP & were happy to help. One watch just needed a new battery, but the other required a delicate repair. The cost was far less than I expected & they had the work completed in half the time they expected, which was already reasonable. The store is small, but is clean, well stocked with a wide selection, especially for its size. If they don't have the item you're looking for, they are willing to order it as long as one of their vendors carry it, and the pricing is quite competitive as well.

Walker and I agreed that "wasn't it unusual that Greenville didn't have a watchmaker in town?" But he said there are only 1300 approximately in the USA. This location also is a dealer for Seiko, Cotizens, and Bulova watches, but a main business is watch repair. The only downsides are the store is small, so limited inventory on hand especially women's watches and the watch I wanted to get repaired had to queue up and won't be ready "until after Christmas." It's late June. Walker said he can only work on watches when he is not sellling new watches and that is often limited time and after store hours, which makes sense.

I took several pieces of jewelry in...some for repair, some for appraisals and gold to sell while it was still MS. This was just prior to Bailey's taking over. WELL, today I went to pick up jewelry and it was a disaster! The ring that was supposed to be sized wouldn't go on ANY finger. The rude salesperson (I think her name was Jaclyn 1839) failed to give me $850 credit for gold jewelry that was sold. She acted as though she was doing me a favor. All in all it was a deplorable situation. They are resizing my ring but in the future I'll choose another "fine" jewelry store
