Award-winning black bean burger and fries

I've lived in Cincinnati for several years and I cannot believe this is my first time at tickle pickle! we had an all-around amazing meal and the vibes are very fun in the restaurant! There is plenty of street parking (free) and you can seat yourself. The staff were friendly and interactive, and served us quickly. The menu is so fun... You will have a hard time choosing between burgers! While so many options looked delicious, I ended up getting the vegan black bean burger because it was rated one of the best in the city. It was very good! The pickle and red onion and barbecue sauce were really nice touches on the pretzel bun. It's a homemade burger patty, which is a lot better than a store-bought patty you'd find at most restaurants. at a price point of only $10, I upgraded to fries on the side, which were also delicious. Maybe it's because I had just spent some time on the West Coast, but I was shocked at my $12 bill for such a big and delicious meal! Tickle pickle is a great value. I already want to come back and try more of their menu! I noticed that they had vegan milkshakes which I want to try next time!

Stopped here on a trip to Cincinnati because the reviews seemed mostly positive and we wanted something quick. We ordered two different burgers, fries and fried pickles. The service was quick, the atmosphere was fun. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't that good. The burger patty itself was meh. We spent $50 after tip which felt like way too much for the quality of food.

Spicy slaw and potato salad sides

I ordered the Slaytar burger . It had American cheese, bacon, tarter sauce, lettuce, pickle and tomato on a pretzel bun. It came with Grippos BBQ chips. The burger was cooked great, it was juicy, hot and tender. We ordered a side of spicy slaw and potato salad. Both sides were very good. Our server Kaytlin was great. The ambiance was rock and roll diner with rock stars faces printed into the laminent of the table. They also offered outside seating at the entrance with patio umbrellas. The inside is fairly large with 2 seating areas and a bar. Everything was very good and I would come back again.

Burgers, Bands, And Belly Laughs At Tickle Pickle August 28, 2025 With a name like Tickle Pickle, you can't help but walk in with a grin on your face. I mean, how could you not? It sounds like the title of a garage band that never made it out of someone's basement--or maybe a rollercoaster that only goes sideways. Either way, I had to see if the food lived up to the rock-and-roll ridiculousness of the name. Spoiler alert: it does. Tickle Pickle has been rocking out in Fort Thomas, Kentucky for a couple of years now, after moving down from their Cincinnati stage. And let me tell you, this place is like a mashup between a diner and a dive bar, with a soundtrack that screams classic rock. If you're looking for candlelight and white tablecloths, you're lost, my friend. But if you want juicy burgers, loud personality, and a vibe that says "we serve beer and riffs," you've come to the right place. Kaitlin: The Unsung Hero of the Night Our server, Kaitlin, deserves her own solo. She was upbeat, attentive, and made sure our table didn't miss a beat. Drinks filled? Check. Food hot? Check. Vibe on point? Double check. The Slayer vs. Pearl Jam: A Burger Battle of the Bands My wife went for the Slayer Burger, stacked with tartar sauce (yes, tartar sauce!), bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. It's the kind of burger that says, "I came here to rock hard and possibly confuse your taste buds in the best way possible." And let's be real: putting tartar sauce on a burger is so crazy it works. I rolled with the Pearl Jam Burger, a headliner in its own right--jalapeño jam, tomato, and goat cheese on a pretzel bun. Pro tip: they say all their burgers come cooked medium, but I asked for medium-rare. They didn't just nod politely--they actually delivered. Bonus points for that encore performance! The burger itself? Flat-top seared, juicy, and so flavorful I almost started singing "Alive" at the table. That jalapeño jam was the perfect spicy-sweet guitar riff, and the goat cheese brought a creamy, tangy harmony. Honestly, this was one of the most well-balanced "band members" I've ever had between two buns. Side Acts: Potato Salad & Spicy Coleslaw Let's not forget the backup singers. The potato salad was smooth and classic--like a reliable bass line--while the spicy coleslaw had a surprising kick, turning up the volume just enough to keep things interesting. Final Encore Between the food, the rock-and-roll atmosphere, and the service, Tickle Pickle is the kind of spot that doesn't just feed you--it entertains you. It's quirky, fun, and a little rebellious, just like the bands it names its burgers after. Would I come back? Absolutely. This isn't just dinner--it's dinner with a soundtrack. Until next time, I'm Brian -- and remember to Take the Trip! And if you ever find yourself at a place called Tickle Pickle, don't ask questions--just order a burger, crank up the volume, and prepare to be rocked.

We just discovered his gem of a bar/restaurant in Fort Thomas Kentucky. It has a menu that has quite a few different items with a slight focus on burgers. We started with some pulled pork fries which were absolutely fantastic. Delicious bbq and and good fries along with cheddar cheese made for a delightful appetizer. I tried their wings which were very traditional, no frills wings. I got it with hot Buffalo sauce. I've had wings from many, many places from all over the country but I've gotta say these were my favourite. The sauce was perfect with the perfect amount of pice and flavour and the wings themselves were perfectly cooked and a good size. Also their house made bleu cheese was super delicious too. The restaurant is a little on the loud side but that's to be expected with a bar atmosphere so be aware of that. Also the service was top notch as well. This was a real treasure and I'll be back many times.
