Great food and great service especially for our group. Our server was very patient with lots of kids and confusion. People loved the Buns n Roses and Pearl Jam. I loved my CYO with goat cheese, curry ketchup, pretzel bun, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, banana peppers, pickles, and fried egg (they forgot but not biggie). People liked the fries too. Veggie chili was meh. Then I got the Goobie Brother and that was incredible. Kids got Bean Days and liked those too. Great spot. read more

Was expecting typical bar/diner style food and was blown away with how good everything was. Yes, they serve mostly burgers but each is unique and tastes fresh. They have a great selection of vegetarian and vegan items (shocking from a burger joint) both in food and dessert. Their milkshakes are the star of the show. They come in nondairy and dairy, they're huge, decedent and so filling. The goobie brothers is the best with peanut butter and Oreo! Fairly cheap and good quantities. read more

Had the wings which were really good. Others had the burgers and looked really good. Service was excellent and nice atmosphere.

I am giving it two stars just because of the waitress, who was really friendly. The burger and fries were luke warm but the garlic seasoning overwhelmed everything else. read more

Nice visit at Tickle Pickle. Beers were cold and burger was very good. Service was great!! Quiet location in Ft Thomas.

When they first opened it was great. Then something must have gone wrong because it's not so great anymore. The last 2 times I've carried out my order has been wrong. At the prices they charge that is unacceptable. What's even worse, I told them about the error when I got there and asked that they make sure my order was correct. I got a salad with next to no lettuce, no dressing, and no pretzel roll. Once I can forgive, twice probably not. read more

At a "seat yourself" restaurant, one would expect the staff to not only be prepared for new customers coming in for seating but also be prepared to somehow keep track of tables, that was not the case here. After being sat for 15 minutes, we were yet to have a server come to our table, then after 45 minutes, we had no drinks. it then took nearly 2 hours to receive our food, most of which was not only wrong, but also cold. I have tried this place twice now (Ft Thomas location) and it's ok but not great. Inside is very loud, if the place is full. The staff is good and responsive without being too on top of you. The burgers are good, but not great. The burger itself is very good, but the condiments and/or flavor combinations leaves me lacking. Tonight I had the Slaytar . It had a pretzel bun, burger, bacon, lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce and maybe cheese (sad to say I don't remember). You would think with all this it would really pop. But the tartar sauce was like weak sour cream with very little flavor. The bacon added some flavor, but in general there was not any real flavor umami. I got it well, so there was a good char to add flavor (I know, but it is ground meat and I can't do medium), but again it left me lacking. The first time I was there, right after opening, I had the Buns and Roses black bean burger, spicy ketchup, lettuce and tomato. It was good. I think I enjoyed it more as the flavors worked better. read more

I met a friend for lunch and was somewhat disappointed overall. They were NOT busy at the time and had only one server working the bar and tables. She took care of things very well! My friend ordered an appetizer (Mac & Cheese/Goetta) which was delivered in a paper fish & chips boat, not a bowl, or plate! I ordered a burger, and chips instead of fries, my friend ordered a burger w/fries. His burger came to me and mine to him. not really an issue. What was an issue however was the fact that our food was served on paper, with plastic knives and forks, and the chips served with my burger were a very small (Lunchbag size) bag of Lays regular chips! The previous owner at least used real plates and dinnerware. In a nutshell, I found the Burger to be lukewarm, and overall nothing to brag about, and, what can you say about a bag of chips. Sorry guys.....But I felt like I was in a fast food resturant ( we all know the type) without the fast food! read more

We are from the immediate area and went to the Ft. Thomas Tickle Pickle last night. I can say NEVER again and mean it. I waited forty minutes for a hamburger that was so burned it was completely black and hard on one side. I sent it back and it was brought back to me within seconds on the same bun I had taken two bites from with just a half sliver of tomato that had survived the switch of one burger for another and no lettuce the second time. The same fries and ketchup were still in the original paper wrapper, but a wadded up straw wrapper was served with it this time. I showed the waitress and told her I couldn't believe what had just happened. She couldn't either and took it back again. She brought a third burger in just a couple of minutes and waited while we checked it out. I ate it even though I didn't like it. It had an odd taste. I don't know if it was the meat or something they sprinkle on it while cooking it. Also, very greasy and if you get a burger with cheese they just slap a slice of cold cheese on it before wrapping it. The only good thing about the whole experience was the waitress.
