The wash and amenities are GREAT! What is not great is that if you choose one month of washes for the same price, they never tell you it will be a recurring charge on your credit card. This is a very deceptive way to do business. I will never fall for the for this scam again. That being said I will get my car washed here again. Absolutely terrible customer service. They say to cancel on a certain date when you cancel a day before that date they say that doesn't work cuz you need to do it 5 days in advance. I spoke to Emily at the office and she was Zero help and did not want to refund my money. This is how they scam you to keep you going for another month. If they would have told me to cancel within 5 days I would have but they did not. buyer beware. no wonder why they got an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. read more

I experienced poor customer service from your alleged assistant manager. She was very passive aggressive, patronizing, and condescending... quite frankly a smart ass. Not sure what or who ruined her day before I crossed paths with her, but I hope she doesn't let those issues influence her customer service with other clientele regardless of the perceived positive or negative interaction. I must say, she knows her shit and I'm sure she is very good at what she does. However, I believe that in order for her to be an exemplary assistant manager, she should rethink her overly happy, passive agressive, smartass attitude. I run my truck through then go back to the shop and finish washing the truck. Does ANY car wash actually get the vehicle clean? I understand the wheels are apparently impossible for any drive-through to get clean but a giant smear of dirty water across the tailgate that actually was not there when I arrived but done by the dirty wet brush that the kid at the entrance put on it and going through the wash didn't even take that off!?!?!? read more

Mixed feelings writing this. Generally, my experience at Tidal Wave locations has been good. The Buford location however, has some issues with management based on the service I received from the Manager today (April 23, 2023). Teresa was rude and was more than happy to have me cancel my monthly plan rather than provide a re-wash. I'm a (was) monthly member so I'm committing to $25/month or $300 annually. We have two cars so we're a $600 customer. The towels I used to dry my car left filmy, oily streaks on my hood and windshield before I realized what was happening. So, I assumed I could run it back through the wash. Nope! Rather than allow me the rewash, Teresa offered to clean the windshield so I could see but said I'd have to return tomorrow to rewash the car and she wasn't willing to clean the entire hood, grill, and full windshield - which I suggested after she was adamant that I couldn't go back thru the wash because the towel may not have been their fault - she claimed it was possible I was putting something on my own windows causing the smear. Well, no rewash, no membership. I cancelled my car and my wife's. We'll find another option if Teresa and her owner would prefer to send away $50 a month over a single re-wash. read more

Good morning, I was a the Buford location yesterday and I overheard two male employees talking while they were folding towel, they had used the n-word twice and I was in shock when I had heard them say it because they were not black. One was white and the other was Spanish looking. I just feel like that they shouldn't be using that kind of language around the customers, especially if they have black employees working with the. I am a caucasian man and I was offended by them saying that word. But other than that the wash was amazing as always. read more

If I could leave Zero stars I would. This company uses deceitful business practice. They lure you in with $10 unlimited service and send you one (1) text to authorize. Well, I decided to not use the service going forward so I simply did not put my account information into the text request. It turns out they have been charging me $19.99 not $10 every month since and I just caught it. They never sent another text or any communication with each new charge just quietly took the money. I do not believe I authorized these charges, they can clearly see that I never utilized their service again. Corporate indicated they would only refund the last charge. My bank says since I authorized the first one they are legit. I disagree, I authorized one $10 charge and they quietly took advantage with their deceitful business practice. Had they sent a text with each transaction I would not think this way but given they way they did this I think it is on purpose. I wonder how many others got sucked in and have been paying $19.99 and not getting any sort of notification they are doing so. Very disappointed and will not do business with them again. Considering making a picket sign and spending a few hours informing their potential customers of their deceitful business practice in front of their business. read more
