The programming at this gym is unlike any other I've been to and I've been to my fair share over the years. It's not your typical Bro'd out CrossFit where you get injured. They have multiple options - if you want to go all out and do Olympic lifts then they've got you covered, but if you're feeling weak or tired or you're just getting back in the gym then they have plenty of scaled down movements that are perfect for you. There's something for everyone in each work out, every day. The community is unparalleled and everyone there is super cool and laid back - I can't say enough good things about this place. Tons of parties and get together a outside of the gym as well.

The facilities are okay, but could use some updating as the equipment is quite old and the variety of heavier weight options is lacking. It's frustrating to want to lift heavier but heavier weights are non existent. My biggest disappointment is with the passport system. Apparently this location only allows 2 passport visitors per class. Even if the class isn't full, this location won't allow more than two passport visitors at a time. They're more than happy to let you in the class by charging you an extra fee of $18 however. Sounds like a money grab to me! So disappointed to see a half full class with passport visitors being sent away just because they weren't allowed to come in without paying an extra fee! I've been to several other F45 locations throughout the US and other countries, and never experienced this with the passport visits. This location can definitely do better!

I'm still making good progress in strength and weight loss (or keeping weight off...I eat a lot...Lol). All the Coaches are great! They get to know you over time, and learn your strengths and weaknesses. They push and encourage you perfectly. I'm pretty fatigued and my muscles are dead after every class. I Love it! We've made lots of friends here. The staff are good about creating social events at local restaurants, so we can all hang out, laugh, and talk about life outside the gym. I'm kind of an introvert, but I love these gatherings. Everyone is so nice. This gym also brings in local vendors (physical therapists, food prep, cryotherapy, etc) occasionally. The vendors give free/discounted samples and/or therapies. I found a physical therapy group through these vendor visits, and they fixed my back issues. This gym is for everyone. The format is easy to follow and they have differing weights for everyone (whether you're a beginner or expert). Come in and give it a try. They always have new visitors deals. You'll love it.

But nope seems like she had another commitment which was understandable. I thought maybe the owner would follow up with an apology but NOPE! I live in Oceanside so it is a commute to get down there. This place seems to cater to people who like to do their own thing and use more of an open gym style. If you're a new to CF or like structured classes w/ coaching, this is not the place for you. Classes aren't very organized or well-led by the coach. In the 3 classes I attended, I didn't even know if the class had started. People just do the warm-up on their own then go onto the workout. The gym is old. Pretty sure it's been around for 10+ years and it shows. It's not clean or very organized. Most of the plates are broken and mismatched. Hard to find a pair of the same brand that don't have the center ring broken out. Barbells are in all kinds of decrepitness. Everything is old and very worn. For being so established and at $200/month they should provide better equipment and coaching. There's better options for fitness and CF

ALL AT THE SAME TIME! They now set their thermostats at 75*, maybe to save money, which makes the rooms smell of sweat. Manager, Daniel, used to walk around and inspect machines but lately it's just not happening. I'm sure he cares but perhaps is forced into these conditions by new ownership?? Idk
