Good thing, the guest arrived late and I checked on the unit before they arrived. I spent time recleaning the whole unit. I reported this poor service to them and refused to refund me. They credited me. So I reluctantly rebooked for another day when I could not clean. This time the cleaner canceled. I had to leave my job, to go home and clean before the guests arrived. If you'd like to waste some time and some money, have I got the service for you! Picture it, an apartment in West Hollywood and two busy professionals looking for a little help in their lives. They decide to book this new service after someone left a flier on their door. Cleaner number one ruins a cast iron skillet by running it though the dishwasher. Cleaner number two, lest we forget, rather than bringing their own supplies, they manage to use an entire roll of our paper towels. Somehow also our granite countertop cleaner and wood cleaner and dusting spray also are mysteriously gone after this person came. The cleaning had been adequate, so we thought why not try round 3? Cleaner number 3 decides to just smear around the dirt on the counters, not move anything to vacuum (literally lines with the vacuum around a pair of shoes), doesn't dust literally anything, and this is after checking in 20+ minutes late (and checking out right on time). This is heartbreaking to me..hired this service as I liked the easy online booking and the advertising style was cute and modern. Well, I realized a few days later that a ring and bracelet given to me by my husband when we first began dating, are GONE. I looked through everything thoroughly over and over. Fraudulent!!!!! We cancelled a service because, as we told the receptionist, it was street sweeping day and we didn't want to inconvenience the house cleaner. Well they are good and bad. Love the home keeper who comes on Monday. Love love love, however it did take some time to schedule. If this home keeper ever changed, then I would definitely cancel. Overall i would give them two stars because yes it has been very frustrating dealing with them, yet they have some redeeming qualities. One of which is the Monday home keeper and the prices are perfect. On the other hand, the customer service takes for-e-v-e-r. If you are a growing business, maybe you should think about adding more customer care associates. Also when scheduling make sure you are very clear when you tell them to arrive at your home. I asked if she vacuumed and she said "Yes, did you go look?" I explained there is black lint all over the carpet and told me to call the company and let them know their vacuum does not work. She asked if I had my own vacuum and I pointed directly at it. She said she could use it next time and left. I called to cancel service and explained the issue. Very affordable and excellent communication. The staff is so friendly and professional too. Customer satisfaction is definitely their priority. I loved that they carry Dyson vacuumes. I tried the $40 Tidy plus and I am so impressed with the amount of cleaning I received. A great job all around and like other reviewers I loved the way they made up my bed. The goodies left behind were a sweet touch. I have tried several well known housecleaning companies and Tidy beats them all by far. Pro Tip: If you're going to have a business that operates using an app, perhaps invest in an app that WORKS. I booked my first Tidy for this morning at 8:00am and received an on-screen confirmation that I was "all set." 8:20am rolls around and nobody shows. I called and the person who eventually answered the phone indicated that the appointment was never actually set. Super frustrating. I booked this service over a month ago and this time 15 before my scheduled service the cleaner called asking if I had a cat because she was highly allergic. I do have a cat and she said she was not able to clean my house and we will need to cancel and rebook for the same day. This is not an option. There is no way to contact this company other than a chat service that does not respond in time. This is the final time I will be using this company. Awful Service I feel bad leaving negative reviews, but this company really needs a wake up call! I tried to give them a second chance and used them twice even though I wasn't happy the first time. The second time i decided to simplify it for them and told them to clean only my floors, which was the most important to me. All I needed is a nice job on vacuuming and wiping the floors. 2 bedrooms condo. The made couldn't even do that. She didn't move any small furniture or a chair to vacuum or wipe and went around things. She left earlier, didn't even stay for the whole hour. Horrible. I give 1 star because I have to in order to post a review. No contact or customer service and unreliable cleaners. I've had 2 cleaners be extremely late (by 20 - 40 minutes). When one girl arrived, she asked if she could leave early, literally cleaned for 10 minutes and then asked me to love her work so that she could get paid. The next girl was 40 minutes late, kept texting me to say she had arrived and then later that she was actually 10 minutes away. AWFUL! I paid for the extensive cleaning. It is in my lease to have the home professionally cleaned upon moving out. My lease ends on Wednesday, so not that much extra time. I picked things that fit into the allotted time according to their standards. They didn't have time to even touch the master bedroom or master bathroom. The house was 100% EMPTY! How hard is it to vacuum, mop, wipe down counters and clean 3 bathrooms in FOUR hours. I could do it myself in 1, but needed the service per my lease. RIDICULOUS! That to me is an excuse to lolligag until time runs out. Lazy lazy lazy. BEWARE of their horrible business policies. I very rarely write Yelp reviews, but I REALLY want to show my love and support for this company. I had my first Tidy cleaning earlier today, and here are the key points: (1) My homekeeper, Tali, was precisely on time and, despite the fact that I'm sure she was exhausted from the LA heat and having put in a hard day's work already, she was incredibly bubbly, warm and wonderful. She brought her own equipment (even a vacuum!) and informed me that the cleaning products she was using were eco-friendly, which I love. (2) I opted for the standard Tidy cleaning (a quick clean of 1 bed, 1 bath, kitchen, living room) to try out the service. I was expecting really just a quick once over because this service was SO inexpensive, and the homekeeper is not allotted a ton of time. I was WRONG - my "already pretty clean" home is absolutely sparkling! If this is their version of a "quick clean" I am dying to know what a Tidy+ cleaning looks like! (3) As a result of my really positive experience with Tali, I called their customer service department (they call it the "Front Desk") to upgrade my regularly scheduled service. I spoke with a guy named Thomas at the Front Desk who was just as warm and wonderful as the homekeeper who visited my home. Plus, he figured out a way to save me a little money each month, which he absolutely didn't have to do (he could have let me go on spending more than I needed to, but he didn't, which I REALLY respect). Really solid customer service all around. SUMMARY: Staff and homekeepers are clearly well screened and trained. That, coupled with the convenience of the service, and the seriously unbelievable prices make a weekly home cleaning a no-brainer. Looking at some of the negative reviews here, it sounds like some people have had issues with the customer support. That has definitely not been my experience. I am not sure how long Tidy's been around, but I am certainly sensitive to the difficulty of launching and managing the operations of a new company, so if I HAD experienced some of the snafus described in other reviews, while frustrating, I would likely take them with a grain of salt. ONE SUGGESTION FOR TIDY: The reminder email that you send out the day before a scheduled cleaning is super helpful (thanks!). You might consider also sending a confirmation email immediately upon booking, perhaps with a link to add the event to the customer's Google or iPhone calendar. I should start out by saying that I LITERALLY just created this account right now for this review, because that's how poor of a service this is that I don't want others getting scammed. This is by far the worst cleaning service ever. Was left on the phone for over 20min EVERY time I called. They do not have a voicemail system (yes, they are not aware this is the 21st century yet), so you cannot leave them a message in the hopes that they will call you back. They suggest that if you don't want to wait on the phone that you email them instead, as "they are more prompt through email and will get back to you faster." This was an absolute façade and lie, and not only did they take 2 days to get back to me "the same day" through email, they also neglected to even read my email not once, not twice... (wait for it...), but yes, 3x! I sent an email asking for a reschedule from the current week to the following week on that Thursday at the normal time (my normal times were Friday at 8am). What did they respond with TWO days later? "This is just a friendly reminder your cleaning is (date that I asked to be changed) at 8am. We look forward to seeing you then!" - I literally stated in my email: "Please change my date of cleaning to the following week Thursday as I will be out of town this Friday and no one will be available to let the cleaning person in." So again, they have incompetent people who can't answer phone calls in a timely manner or read emails that clearly state what is being asked. So I respond to the email, explaining AGAIN that I WILL NOT be at the apartment that Friday, as I am out of town for work, and need this to be rescheduled to the following THURSDAY at the same time. And what is their response? "We have rescheduled you to the following week at 8am FRIDAY".... ARE YOU BLIND? DID YOU NEGLECT MY PREVIOUS EMAIL OR JUST NOT CARE TO READ IT??? I mean seriously this is ridiculous. So I respond yet again with the SAME information as last time. Finally the woman seems to understand the language I am writing in and says she has changed my time to the following Thursday and sorry for the inconvenience. And then what happens today? I get an email saying "We look forward to cleaning your home FRIDAY at 8am...." Are these people retarded? So I sit on the phone for another 20+ minutes, to find out that in fact my date had NOT been changed (the woman just made a bold faced lie to me), and that I was in fact still scheduled for this Friday... I ask her to change it and to get it right for someone to show up at 8am tomorrow - no one is available, we have someone at all other times of the day Thursday, just not 8am, will this work? ...... NOOOOOO! I have stated how many times that I have work and 8am already is late for them to show up... I am not sure how I can be more clear. To top all of this off, the first time they were supposed to show up the person showed up 45min late, the second time no one showed up. After promising me a rebate for my troubles, I never received one and had I not been keen about it, they would have never given it to me, hoping that I forgot about it. The guy on the phone (after waiting 25min might I add), even noted that there was a rebate for the half off there and "wasn't sure why it was never input still 2 weeks later...." yeah, whatever... If I could give them a negative rating I would!! Before you decide to hire this company read the yelp reviews and check the BBB website. There are numerous claims against them. I had them come to my house for 4 hours of cleaning. I made a to do list like the company recommended so the 4 hours was spent how I wanted. They were late to the appointment but they did let me know via text. Once they got to my house my wife who is 8 months pregnant told them girl she needs the floors cleaned the most. 15 minutes into the cleaning the girl is making a bed in my daughters room which was not part of the cleaning. 35 minutes into the cleaning my wife saw she was no longer in the kitchen and had moved onto a different room. She asked the girl if she cleaned the oven, stove and microwave like our list had and she told my wife it was done, but she would go back and double check. The to do list was not followed we provided. She had to use our vacuum to vacuum our floors. After 3 1/2 hours of cleaning she took her supplies to her car and brought in supplies to clean the floor. She mopped the floors with the same map and water throughout my entire house. She missed spots in my living room and at exactly 4 hours she said she was done and left. Once she left I immediately took pictures of all the things she missed to email the company. I wrote a long email detailIng everything that was missed. I got a response the following day apologizing for the experience, recommending I did a longer cleaning because it sounded like I needed more time and a credit of $50 towards the NEXT cleaning. I responded telling them 4 hours was enough time to clean everything if the list was followed and the floors were an area I wanted focus on and they were cleaned last. They gave me an additional $15 credit again towards the next cleaning. I responded again asking for money back to my original form of payment. And got no responses for 3 more follow up emails. I also got charged for another cleaning which I never had performed. A day after the cleaning I went to use my oven which was "cleaned" by them. All she did was spray oven off into the oven and left it. My oven no longer works. I filed a claim for damages and the response from Tidy was a credit of $121 which is a number they just made up and that was a credit for, again my future cleanings. My account was cancelled so what were they refunding the credit to. I have had a appliance technician out for my oven and it's been determined it can not he repaired so now I have to shop for a new oven. I have a double wall oven. I'm now working with my homeowners insurance company to see if a claim can be processed to help me replace the oven. Please if you have read the review to this point do no use tidy. The customer service is horrible. They have no phone number to contact customer support only via email. They offer credits for next cleanings and won't refund to your original payment. My kids could have done a better job cleaning what was done around my house and followed the list I made better then this company. While I rarely (and by rarely, I essentially mean never) write Yelp reviews... I felt compelled to write my first regarding the Home Cleaning Service called "TIDY". I'm typically a clean guy, but sometimes am just too busy to keep my place in tip-top shape. In an effort to ensure my place was always spotless at the beginning of each week, I hired TIDY for weekly cleanings. Let's just say, I've absolutely loved the service these last few months. Week in and week out, TIDY's cleaning professionals have been respectful, timely, thorough, and sweet (a complimentary Valentine cookie and bottle water recently left on my beside dresser). While there are multiple service packages, I love doing the 60 min weekly cleanings, with a longer deeper cleaning (around 2hrs), every 4-5 weeks. As someone who is always on the 'go', it's been an absolute joy to come home and the carpet is vacumed, stainless steel appliances are wiped down, countertops spotless, and TV screens polished. I've not only enjoyed the professionalism of the company, but of those that come into my home week-to-week. I definitely look forward to continuing the use of this service!! read more

I signed up for Tidy because I liked that they offered low cost, weekly cleanings. I have a new baby, so or house gets dirty fast. I get service on Fridays so I can start my weekend on a clean, fresh note rather than having to worry about spending my weekend cleaning. Our regular cleaner, Caitlyn, is amazing. She gets more done in an hour than I can in 4. She's awesome! I've only had food experiences with their customer service and I like their technological approach to house cleaning, like autopay, reminder emails, and online scheduling. I've recommended Tidy to family and they now use them. It's been a great service for our family. read more

We're updating this review based on customer service again bending over backwards for us. They refunded the price of our cleaning from the Mighty Tidy down to the next level beneath, which is acceptable considering that's the level of work that was actually done. My heart goes out to this company because we really need more companies like this who truly put customers first and do everything they can to right a wrong. I have been using Tidy for weekly cleanings for three weeks now, and I'm very pleased with the service. Honestly, almost anyone in a better house cleaner than me, but when my boyfriend (who is a professional chef) commented on how clean the kitchen has been I realized what a wonderful job they're doing. I have had only one housekeeper, Karla, for all three services and she has been on time every week. Not only does Karla do a great job, she is so very personable with excellent communication skills. Is there a way to give 0.0 stars? I've never used a service like this and was excited to give it a shot. Paid for a 2 person four hour deep cleaning. Well first thing I took the day off of work to be around and keep my dogs out of the way. Only one person showed up.... The person who did show up appeared to be working, but I was never in the same room. In three hours she said, "I'm finished". Before I could look around she was gone. Dog hair was mopped into the corner, comet left in the sinks, toilets looked terrible, and in general nothing, but the already mostly clean microwave looked like it had been touched. I was in contact with Tidy.com to complain about the missing person and was told they would credit my account. After the one person left and I looked around I logged another complaint and was told I'd get a $30 credit. A couple days later I noticed my credit card was never credited, I contacted Tidy.com once again and was told that I would not get a credit to my credit card because, "that's not the way it works". Well it actually does work that way, because Tidy.com meet credit card dispute for services not rendered. I wouldn't recommend Tidy.com to ANYONE! Stay away! read more
