It was scheduled more than a week in advance but was cancelled just a half hour before the were supposed to be there. No substitute was provided. Then he breaks a 100 year old Lucite towel bar in our 100 year old craftsman house in Pasadena. He spends 2 hours cleaning the things he,wants to like dusting shelves and cleaning a relatively clean refrigerator then tells me he's leaving now for another job. BE WARNED!! Good morning everybody, this morning I am reaching out in attempt to protect all homeowners from a cleaning company by the name of "Tidy." They have an aggressive advertising campaign and leave flyers either in your mailbox or on your doorstep. Their pricing is - - of course--competitive, which was the determining factor as to why I decided to try them out. During my first experience, the methy cleaner came in and somehow cracked the bathroom mirror in my daughters' bathroom, scratched my floor by dragging plants in ceramic pots across the floor, somehow caused my shower door to strike the other pane of glass so hard that it chipped the upper corners, and then proceeded to clean my children's bathroom with one of their bath towels which was destroyed by bleach products she was using only to hang it back up on the towel rod as if it were clean. I filed a report with the company, including estimates for repairs or replacement of all products as they requested. And in the end, all I received was a $15 check and a short letter telling me that there was no way the damage was done by their worker. Now it doesn't take a genius to rebut this ridiculous claim however, being a general contractor of 25 years and having worked as an expert witness in construction defect cases - - I'm pretty sure I would've spotted existing defects in my own home. Thanks Tidy! Perhaps you should get into the home inspection industry. Anyways, I just wanted to warn the community of who this company is and how they treat their clients. That didn't happen either. But they take the quarters with them. I have modern sofas, with tall legs. So must dust left underneath. Nothing felt scrubbed. It's as they say. A light wipe down. I was recommended TIDY by a friend of mine as something that he heard of and it would be a good service to use. I booked an appointment 11 days ago for this morning. I had gotten an appropriate reminder email and was excited to start the service. I received a call 15 minutes before my appointment saying that the cleaner was having car issues and wouldn't be coming. The replacement would be there though, or so I thought. I never got a call from the new cleaning person and I called the main office 3 times before finally getting a call back. A wasted morning and when I finally heard from the office I asked to have my initial payment refunded. Currently I'm waiting for it to clear. I requested the TIDY plus service so this should have been covered. I called to inquire about it and so they offered to schedule a second appointment. The housekeeper was a no show. I helped my clients buy a home and the sellers hired Tidy to clean the home after they moved out. They were hired to do a deep clean and the home was anything but clean. There was trash left behind, lots of hair and dirt and it basically looked as though the home was not cleaned even though I saw the cleaning people there. We called to let the company know and were happy to have the CEO apologize and tell us that they would send back another cleaning crew at their expense. It was too good to be true. I have to admit I was an absolute sucker and very excited when they dropped off a very clean, simple, quality flyer advertising their services. We'd had house cleaners before and although the advertised services seamed to be a little less than before, so was the price so we wanted to give them a shot. When I got on-line and was directed to download their app and schedule my appointment I was sold!! Finally a cleaning service that has come into the 21st century and appeared to really have it together. That's where the bliss ended. It was like pulling teeth to actually get a cleaning scheduled. When we did they then called and said they had to reschedule because the didn't have a credit card. Fine, we gave them payment info, they ran a "test" charge to validate the card and we were supposedly set. Then today, when they're schedule to clean nobody showed up. After e-mailing, leaving two voicemails and 90 minutes of nobody in their office answering the phones we finally got through. "I'm sorry, you're not on the schedule", WHAT !?!?! We've been suspecting our maid to be doing less work the last few weeks, but due to the fact that both my wife and I are busy during the week at work it was impossible to make sure.... Until today, when my wife who has a cold decided to stay home and rest. She of course stayed in the bedroom. The maid was scheduled for 9:30-10:30. We pay $40 for an hour of cleaning.. The maid left at 10am. She did about half an hour and decided to leave. She never even bothered entering the bedroom where my wife was, and didn't even know she was there! It looks like all they do is sweep, mop, and clean the surface of the kitchen. We are basically paying $160 a month to have someone broom and mop, and Lysol surfaces!!! If she only worked half an hour today, I can only imagine that we've paid $160 for 2 hours of mediocre fast cleaning. Very disappointed. Its not the cleaners faultm but they dont have a good way to see who sucks and who is good and their customer service is made out of Orange County farts. I had okay cleaners in Hollywood and then I had one in Long Beach who was the absolute worst, spent 30 minutes doing ten dishes, chilled and didnt do anything on the list but random dusting and bed sheet straightening. If I could give negative stars, I would! Hands down worst costumer service/reliability EVER!!!!!! Please, please, please, please, believe all of the negative reviews! I didn't, and I ended up getting completely screwed (sorry, I don't have a better way to say it) by this company! I had an appointment scheduled for 8 today. At 8:05 I called and they said the cleaner try to call them cause they were lost (why did I have to call to find this out??). They said they would call and find out where they were and give them my number to get better directions (why didn't the housekeeper already have my number for this very reason??). Long story short, the person had already left and was not responding to their call. I had an Open House at 1! They sent nobody else out to clean. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I had to email them to speak to someone. They called me back after emailing and they were the WORST at costumer service! None empathetic, gave me no reasonable solution. I really hope people read this and save themselves from having this experience! On another scheduled day, they never showed up, I didn't get a call, and when I called them, they ended up sending someone two days later. There are so many negative reviews of your company -this is ridiculous. I gave your company a chance with the first cleaning which didn't go as expected and you made up for that sort of - there was still something lacking in that follow-up cleaning which led to the person letting the wrong dog out! I gave simple specific instructions with regards to my dogs. I'd like to point out that the "front desk" gal that did my follow up was very understanding & apologetic. It was very clear to her that the items damaged were the fault of the keeper & frankly in my opinion the staff that gave the directions to do this make up 1 hour fix! I find it very hard to believe that your company is soooo successful that you can't eat the cost of 1 full cleaning - at the very least - to retain a sure fire twice a month client! Again the gal that did the follow up with me was very professional & took the time to go over what can be done / should be done - during my regular cleanings going forward. I advised to simply leave my dogs in there kennels on those days going forward to make it easy on the keeper...But now it seems you don't want my business at all!! Cameron (San Diego) was rude, lazy, and did not follow any of my instructions to dust all surfaces, clean window sills, and dust ceiling fans. He didn't wipe down the mirrors or the trash cans. Received the mass distributed flyer on my doorstep. I need a housecleaner ASAP and the 40 dollar price was attractive enough to forgive the very wasteful shotgun marketing. Upon calling the number, I was told that in order to receive the 40 price, I would have to commit to an ongoing service. i hate that crap. It's part of why are country is struggling. Be honest on your ads please. This is the kind of unsavory psychological tactic that retailers who lack integrity will use in order to upsell you their services. I for one, refuse to support this. I love the idea of TIDY - online, automatic, etc. however, they have A LOT of kinks to work out. I have had housecleaners show up on the wrong day twice, and then not show up at all on the correct day. In addition, they charged me without warning for this service that was not ever provided to me. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication with the administrative staff and their calendaring AND billing systems. I would NEVER recommend this service to someone who is looking for something convenient and reliable. read more

I am very disappointed with their service. I asked for a housecleaning to move out of a rental. I was very specific that there would be nothing in the house. I requested that they should focus on the baseboards, fans, blinds, and window sills. First, they did none of that. Second, the lady was on the phone most of the time. Third, when I told them I was dissatisfied with their work, they did not respond. Correction, they did respond and told me they would improve their website to better communicate to the cleaner. I would NOT recommend using Tidy cleaning service for your home- not worth the head ache. I thought it was so great when I first saw it/ downloaded the app, I was very impressed. After the terrible cleaning however, I felt very differently. The customer service was even worse! The young man who showed up at my house did not seem very motivated. He did a terrible job, my home looked about the same as I left it when he finished. Not exactly sure what he did do for the 2.5 hours he was in my home. -left EVERY light and fan on in my home (he came at 8am- I returned at 7pm) wasting energy for 11 hours and super strange to leave a home like that. -I left a can of paint on my dining room table and the guy left it upside down and it leaked paint onto my wood table. -bathroom shower/bath was not scrubbed at all or even wiped, there was still soap scum and wasn't cleaned at all. The soap dish and shelve in shower was not even wiped. Shower head still dirty. -window sills/ track were not wiped out, very dirty inside still. -floors were not scrubbed and cleaned properly, I think he only vacuumed. -couch was not fluffed and the pillows weren't even moved from where I left them on top of couch. -kitchen sink drain was not cleaned still had scum on it. -hanging glass pendant lights in kitchen were not dusted or wiped down. -toilet was wiped but not scrubbed/ still had a ring in the bowl -I have an air scent plugin and he left it upside down and all the oil was dripping all over my bathroom floor for hours. -the inside of oven was not cleaned. -wine racks and other areas not dusted or wipes. -bed was not even made. -did not smell clean and didn't look clean To top it off, the customer service is horribly hard to deal with. They do not use phones, so you get an auto reply email basically every time you email. I have yet to have any resolution and it's been 5 days. They only offered to blacklist this homekeeper or give me 1 hour of cleaning for free... I paid for 2.5 and my home was not clean and all they are willing to do if offer an hour cleaning? This company has been a nightmare! I can go on and on but will stick to the highlights! First I was attracted by their fancy well marketed door post left on my front porch they offered 3 services. I signed up for the midrange. I also have a service dog who is an Australian labradoodle who is a s sweet as they come. 1. First cleaning person came and did a good job while I was there. Second cleaning house was a mess and a note left on the counter saying hope it's good enough! Trash was sitting in the middle of my floor and as I sped away to go to work I saw she had 3 friends sitting in her car obviously waiting for her to hurry up and go party or something. She ended up being fired by tidy. They had an interim person come the next day to fix. 2. Next set cleaner came and she was amazing and was with us for a couple of months and I got a call 2 days before the scheduled cleaning that she was not available for the next cleaning and we got an interim to fill in her absence. I get a call later on the cleaning day from the home keeper who was frantic and told me there was a dog in my house. My responses was I know he lives there it's his house. She said dogs are not supposed to be in the house and hangs up. I get a manger on the phone and she explains she saw her friend get bit by a dog who was cleaning a house the day before. I had another interim cleaner come the next day. 3. Our set cleaner is back as usual and then she quits but she notified us. We were bummed and get a new house cleaner. She came twice and tells us the she is new and is going to be a supervisor as well. She was supposed to arrive today for her set cleaning time and I go into their app. to leave notes and it says I have to set a new cleaning schedule as the original cleaning person is no longer available? I call and inquire what's going on again and I am told that they did not have a ticket in their system to call me and that there is no one available and hangs up the phone. I call back to cancel and they could care less. These again are the highlights. One cleaner warped our wood floors and they also charge you 2 weeks ahead of time for a cleaning that may never happen. I scheduled Tidy to have 2 housekeeper for 4 hours each. I paid for both cleaners. Only one arrived. Tidy has my money and has not offered to send anyone else for the additional 4 hours.
