I had a Great experience with Tidy. I did everything online, they contacted me for more info, maid came in on time for 2 hours. Dishes were made, carpet was clean, and bathrooms were spotless. Do not use this cleaning service! I paid them $275 to have 2 people clean a 2-story 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house with 2 kitchens upstairs and downstairs. Only one showed up. The other one canceled at the last minute. The one who showed up spent 4 hours upstairs only cleaning the kitchen counters, cleaning the fridge, and wiped down 1 bathroom. She did some minor vacuuming in the living room and hallway. That was it for 4 hours. Did not do the bedrooms nor did she clean the showers, toilets or floors. I made Tidy give me a partial refund. They tried to give me credit instead but I told them that there was no way in hell that I would ever use them again. Complete disappointment. read more

AVOID!!!!! First of all they encourage you to fill out a questionnaire/checklist of all the things you want cleaned in your home. It is painstaking and takes a while. Meanwhile this checklist is setting your cleaner up to fail because your poor girl is on the clock. So you think you're going to get this list accomplished, at the upsell price of $90 for their midlevel package. The cleaner has NO CHANCE to get this done in the allotted time because the dick heads at Tidy have a clock they're running and make the cleaner get out of the house to make the next appointment instead of actually cleaning the home. Forget about the actual service itself which was the worst I've had in LA. We couldn't even tell the home had been cleaned! Food on the kitchen floor, the living room and playroom untouched (not even vacuumed). So we complained to management and that is where this gets good. Management at this place is UNACCEPTABLE. They emailed us to tell us specifically they were docking the cleaner's wages and she was to issue us the full $90 refund out of her pocket. COME ON. She doesn't get that full $90. The service probably takes a huge chunk of that leaving her $50 at best, if she even makes $50 of that $90. So the dickheads wanted her to essentially cough up all of her wages as punishment for not meeting the MASSIVE expectation they laid on her which was to get the to-do list they promised done in 2 hours. They even send us a follow up email listing all the stuff she was supposed to have done - reminding us of ALL the stuff she didn't get to. Not only would I never hire them again (or her she was kinda lame but still shouldn't owe us $90 lame) - but I would caution anyone who wants to work for them to stay away. Not ready for Dallas yet! DO NOT USE! I used Tidy-or TRIED to use it- 4x in Dec-Jan '15 & '16. Each Time I scheduled a Mighty Tidy cleaning ONLY one cleaner showed up-and took 4 hrs. When I called and asked to please make sure I had 2 people, they said positively 2 would show up-and only 1 did. Then last saturday NO ONE showed. Tidy just contracts with local cleaners -they say if they don't show up there is nothing they can do except give u a refund. The one lady that did clean was nice-but DID NOT speak much english. I had a Tidy cleaning a few weeks ago. Will not be using them again. I opted for the 2.5 hour cleaning at $95, as we recently moved to a smaller home, and it wasn't that dirty - I just needed a bit of help settling in. The job they did was ridiculously bad. Our dining room is smack in the middle of the house and there's a 9' pine table in there - she had to walk by that several times to get anywhere in the house - never touched it with a cloth. Two tiny bathrooms - wiped down - no cleanser or sprays used. Mirrored doors in one of the bedrooms - only cleaned the top half of doors - who does that?? This house is very small and the gal only got about 1/3 done in that 2.5 hrs. She was casual about the time when she got started, but boy - was she prompt when that time was up! After the 'cleaning', there was no follow-up at all - no customer satisfaction inquiry - neither via email or phone/text. When I go to their website and sign in, I only have the option of scheduling another cleaning - nowhere to contact customer service or leave feedback at all. This company is a total scam. We absolutely love this company. Before my first housecleaning, the rep called me and asked me detailed questions to find the right person for our home. We explained that we had two large dogs (that are playful but tend to get in the way) and we wanted a dog friendly person. The sent us Leticia. She did an outstanding job with the housecleaning. She is always on time, comes prepared, and is very sweet to our dogs. A couple of times we have had to change the dates of our cleaning and the company has worked with our scheduling. The service is affordable, easy to co-ordinate, and reliable. At this point we would not use any other company. read more

I wish my review I'm about to give was made up but it's real. After having 2 men show up, 1 whom hit on me. I actually ended up having to clean up after them. They did nothing! 2 hours and nothing & I came home to blood in my toilet!!. Came home to beds unmade and sheets crinkled and piled on beds, trash bags piled up in front of house (one just of all used paper towels, they went through about 2 or 3 of my rolls), dirty dishes still piled in sink, my bathrooms not cleaned, counters not clean, dirt footprints on my kitchen floor, fingerprints on the door, nothing was cleaned! I was so disappointed and angry. The company refused to refund my money. Refused. Instead they sent another maid which I DID NOT want, I wanted my $100 back. This "maid" he did a shitty shitty job also. Came with 1 rag and 1 bottle of solution. Even with many bad reviews on YELP, I decided to try TIDY. I am glad I did! I started with the Tidy heavy-duty cleaning and had two wonderful women, Carmen and Bria (not sure if I'm spelling their names correctly). They did an amazing job together! I would have been happy to keep either of them, but they couldn't fit my schedule. FIT MY SCHEDULE...that's really important to me. With other cleaners, some of them really great, I found I was begging for service when I needed it and that for me, was an ongoing problem. Obviously, finding quality cleaners is not that simple. For the past couple of weeks, I have had the pleasure of Lina (sp) cleaning my home. Now I get the Tidy plus service, which is one person for 2 1/2 hours every week and I couldn't be happier. Lina comes on time, with all the Tidy cleaners and tools in tow, and manages to clean our entire home in the time allotted. Our house is only a little under 1900 square feet, so it's not huge. But when you're getting your house cleaned weekly, it doesn't get so dirty and out of control and Lina is very skilled at what she is doing. To summarize why I love Tidy: 1) I pick the schedule, 2) the Tidy cleaners I've had are very skilled, 3) communication has NOT been a concern, 4) tidy supplies the "green" cleaning supplies and vacuums, mops, etc., 5) in my experience, the price is very reasonable, 6) the Tidy cleaners LIKE their company and are happy. I purchased the 2.5 hour service (which promised they would bring supplies and focus on what I wanted). She showed up late and didn't bring any supplies with her (other than gloves and a dust mop) so she used what little I had. I asked her to focus on my small kitchen and small bathroom. She worked for and hour and fifty minutes, said, "Ok, I think I'm done." and left. My floors were actually dirtier than when she came and I am pretty sure I did more cleaning the day before (because who wants their cleaning person to think they are a slob) than she did. I have been using Tidy for quite sometime now and I have had the homekeeper's come and go. When Itzel came (new one) to clean she was on time and such a positive attitude with a smile. I work from home so I could observe from a distance and immediately saw a difference from the others. Soap suds were seen ;) window sills wiped down, she just took that extra step and has pride in her work. Just a FYI, I have her on Wednesday's 9:00 so she is booked up and all mine for that hour. To anyone thinking of letting these people in your home. We used Tidy five times. On the fifth time they went through my drawers and found two $100 bills.... guess what? yes, they stole them. I know you may say why did you leave cash in a drawer, it was birthday money. Here is Tidy's response to me: We're sorry to hear that something is missing! Please provide as much detail as possible to us about the item and where the item was last seen. LONG STORY SHORT: DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. Why am I not allowed to give them less than 1 start? We got a pamphlet from this company a few weeks back and was excited to give them a try with the prices on there. You guessed right, price IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! They only have their website running with availabilities and email (or text but text is also generated to email format to company). Don't get excited about their "work order" on Tidy website either. Let me say it, cleaner was a NO SHOW. Because they don't have a live customer service, we had to log onto our account on Tide website to see a notification that states "Cleaner had family emergency. No text and no email notification. We were left with the option of looking for the next availability. Email was sent to Tidy but was useless because there was no response. You would think, a company based in Costa Mesa.. I know. Either way, we are definitely not calling them again. I knew I should have trusted Yelp reviews. Because apparently, this company has the money to print these pamphlets but no money to operate it. I wonder where they put their money in if it isn't in operations and basic customer service. I didn't read these horrible reviews until after I signed up but thought maybe my experience will be different. Nope. They no showed on me for my first appointment!!! Way to establish a loyal customer base TIDY... I called customer service after an hour of waiting and he attempted to contact my home cleaner by phone with no luck. He then offered to reschedule. Brenda was super nice and worked the entire "hour" but I wish I knew it was ONLY 1 hour. They flyer said "A short, focused cleaning customized to you." I opted for Kitchen, living area, master bedroom and master bath. When Brenda arrived I went over what I expected in those areas and she said o.k. Terrible. We scheduled a housekeeper to come and clean and when we returned home we saw that all she did was mop the floors. The bathrooms were untouched, the trash was still overflowing and there were dirty dishes in the sink. When we went to check the bedroom it was as if nothing had been done. We specifically asked for her to wipe down counters and mirrors and it was very clear that had not even been attempted. I'm not sure she even went in to the bedroom at all. We were clearly very disappointed and wrote them to tell them about it. A few days later I went online to see that not only had we been charged $90 for that terrible job we had also been charged a separate $45 for a cleaning that had never even been scheduled! I live in North County San Diego. The negative reviews are accurate. Tidy.com has great marketing and easy to use portal to schedule cleanings. However, that is all they do well. I ordered the Mighty Tidy service to clean my house prior to entertaining guests for the holidays. Long story short......they did a terrible job and now I have to clean. I hired Tidy to clean my home; I entered all of the information about the number of bedrooms, baths, etc., prior to booking my appointment. i ordered the XL cleaning. What Tidy does not tell you is that they will send you a list, a very long list, of what they cannot do; this will be sent to you after they are done. The person spent 4 hours at my home, asked me to pick 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for her to clean...what???? The house looked exactly as it did when I left, actually worse. Each room was half way finished! I spent the evening putting everything back, as she had moved my things and just left them. If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!! This company is AWFUL!! I started my service with them last week. They were supposed to show up on Thursday, and they didn't. I received a call from them indicating the housecleaner was unable to access the home. Although I had left a key. We scheduled the cleaning for the following day, Friday. When the cleaner arrived, she looked puzzled. She didn't realize this was our front door. She had gone next door the previous day. When she finally got in the house, she asked me what areas I would like emphasized. I told her that I was given the impression that the entire house would be cleaned. I made that very clear in my initial discussion with the company. For $80 every other week, I would expect that. It is in line with other cleaners that we have had. The housecleaner said she would only be able to clean a portion of the house. So, she did the upstairs and the downstairs powder room. We were left to clean the entire downstairs ourselves. For $80!!!! No thank you! I called the office to cancel my service since we were so unhappy with this ridiculous price for essentially half of the house cleaned. The gentleman on the phone said that I misunderstood. First of all, I am the customer, and you do NOT say that to a customer. I explained that we have always had our entire house cleaned and by using this new service, it would be no different. I kindly asked for a refund since they misrepresented themselves. He said he couldn't do that. I cancelled my service and will NEVER use them again. I will be sure to spread this news to everyone I know about this terrible company. I think I can save everyone some trouble...it seems as if not all "home keepers" are created equal! I have been using TIDY for two months and have even used them for the purposes of getting a rental ready for the move in of new tenants. However, I have basically only worked with ONE home keeper, JEREMY J., and he is amazing! I love him! He's got a great attitude, very detailed, very consistent and does EXACTLY what I ask him. Totally unreliable! I started with them in March and the first cleaning was fine. The housekeeper complained about the company (regarding scheduling, products they must buy, etc) however she did a fine job. Then we had a series of cancellations - two days before, the day before........ I decided to "think" about even scheduling them again. Following a surgical procedure I decided that I would give them a try again & stipulate that I did not want the housekeeper who was so unreliable. They sent someone new out and she was great. She was supposed to come again today at 11:00am but I received a call at 10:40 saying she was not able to make it. I'm done! It is ridiculous that they feel my time is not important. read more
