If I could give them a -5 I would. They cancel 15 minutes before they show up all the time and you are lucky to get someone to replace them. Customer Service is limited to email only and good luck trying to get a timely response. Their fix for unsatisfied customers is $10 credit towards your next appt - That is if anyone really shows up. This is by far the biggest disappointment ever. I have purchased a newly remodeled home and wanted a pre move clean. House completely vacant. Requested special attention to the tile floors as there was evidence of heavy foot traffic throughout the home. Wipe down of baseboards, mirrored closet doors, bathroom, wipe down of front door. Walked with the cleaner to provide my expectations. Paid for a Tidy XL and he said that is more than enough time to "get this placed detailed" Returned to the home the next day only to find the floors still had the foot traffic. Mirrored closet doors still had the dust layer, spots and water marks in bathroom exactly the same, baseboards still had dirt on them, and front door still had dust / dirt on it. Ended up doing all the cleaning myself. I shared my disappointment. They made an exception to my onetime clean and provide a $50 credit for another clean. I received confirmation a woman by the name of Alma was going to show up and do the Tidy + service. She NEVER showed up. She kept saying she was running late because of traffic but NEVER actually made it and stopped responding. I am beyond furious and cannot tolerate unprofessionalism. I signed up for a Mighty Tidy cleaning ($90). The first maid canceled a few hours before she was supposed to be there. The 2nd woman did not do anything at all and left early. Luckily, they have a 'satisfaction guarantee policy' and I was supposedly given credit on my account. So, we booked a third maid who was supposed to be a 4.5-star rating - she canceled 2 hours before our cleaning. I tried to book a 4th maid, but they charged me for it. I canceled all cleanings and they are supposedly going to refund me, but at this point, it is clear that they are not very organized - $90 is a premium price for a maid service in a house as small as mine. My $90 is a complete loss at this point. Find a good maid through word of mouth, it is significantly cheaper and more professional. read more

This is my first time writting a review on Yelp. I felt I needed to because I was happy with the outcome. NORMA was the young lady that showed up right on time on a Saturday morning. She had a smile on her face and was very friendly with my baby. For the 80 dollars that I paid, my 2 1/2 baths were clean, my kitchen was clean and my entire house (upstairs and downstairs) was vacuumed. It was nice to walk into a clean home and see the small details such as my pillows being fluffed, a small water bottle on my dinning table and another one on my husband's nightstand! I couldn't be happier with Tidy, and we are especially happy with our cleaner, Victoria. We have the $45 Tidy weekly service for our two bedroom, one bathroom home in the Kensington area. Every service day Victoria is on time and thorough. She takes special care to make sure our small dog doesn't escape when she comes in, and is sure to lock up when she leaves. Every surface is sparkling, and the dish washer is even emptied if needed. I had to pay ahead of time, before receiving the service!!! The cleaners are not employed by Tidy. Therefore, they decide when they want to work. My prepaid and prescheduled appointments got cancelled twice because the cleaners changed their schedule! Finally, I had to cancel service with them, because they had no-one working on the days I wanted! Used them twice only. The training they boast about on their website, I didn't see anything impressive. If anything, I caught the guy emptying the dishwasher full of dirty dishes and putting them in the cupboards! I literally downloaded Yelp just to write a review about this company. I scheduled a cleaning at 11 am and at about 11:10 I decided to call because no one had showed up, emailed, or called. The lady told me that no one would be able to make it today and that I could reschedule... I had planned my entire day around this cleaning and I had to call to find out that they weren't coming. When I emailed the manager he told me they contract cleaners and can't do anything about it if they cancel last minute, obviously this happens a lot. You (tidy) charge people when we cancel our cleaning under 24hrs notice but your house keepers can cancel last minute (literally) and expect the customer to change and adjust their schedule in order to get a replacement house keeper with NO finacial reprocussion on your end. And when your house keepers cancel, you (tidy) do not offer the customer any kind of discount on the next service or any type of incentive to stay with such an inconsistant company. Ive literally been cancelled on three times, minutes before the house keepers were scheduled to be at my residence and all i get from customer support is "welp we can send another one out (at their convienence not ours) and you can blacklist that particular house keeper".... but tidy themselves take absoutely NO responsibility what so ever. So with that, i will NOT continue to use your service until you (tidy) step up to the plate and start taking responsibility for the people you send out and until you become more consistant and dependable. read more

Less than 24 hours after making my feelings known I received a call from their CEO Kristen who listened to my feedback and went above and beyond in terms of rectifying the situation. We are very satisfied with our homekeeper. In one hour she does the jobs that we do not want to do. I wish that for this fee that she could do more, but one hour is all we have contracted for in the price point. However, it's good to note, that if Stephanie didn't do the vacuuming, the floors and the bathrooms, that nobody else would volunteer around here to do it either. Oh I should have known better and came to yelp before I booked a Tidy cleaning. It's exactly as many of these people say. Our usual house cleaner broke both her legs :( so we needed someone new, these flyers are always in our neighborhood so gave them a try. The guy was in our house for 4 hours and we were so shocked with the job he had done. I could leave the exact pictures, nothing dusted, two rooms not vacuumed, toilets not cleaned, etc. beyond frustrating when they are charging $150. So the guy is finishing up and asks for a tip. I was so confused. Then proceeds to tell me how far he had to drive to get there and gas prices are high. ???????? What??? I had to pack up my two year old and go to the atm as he was pretty demanding about it. So I spent $170 on a ridiculous cleaning job. I went to call and talk to the company about it, they don't have phone customer service! Oh my. Shows what type of company they are when you can't even talk to a human being. Through email, the girl told me she put a $45 credit on my account for next time. Hahahah oh goodness Tidy, no I will not be using your company ever again and will be telling my neighborhood as well about the job they did. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Tidy. I scheduled a MIGHTY cleaning which is supposed to be a deep clean for 4 hours with 2 homekeepers. Only 1 showed up, he seemed to work hard for 4 hours, but when I checked over the house, he didn't finish any one room. He cleaned the toilets & wiped the sinks in the 2 bathrooms, but didn't clean the floors or the tub in one bathroom nor the shower in the master bathroom. I figured that life happens, people have personal reasons for having to cancel. However, Tidy charged my card for the full $200.00 even though only one person showed up. Then I scheduled someone to come every 2 weeks for a Tidy+ ($75.00) I had the same person scheduled every other Friday for 3 times. I checked the schedule and suddenly no homekeeper was available for my requested day/time. Sent numerous email to Tidy because they do not have ANY Customer Service by phone, only email. My story goes on, and on....to end this suffering, I finally figured out that we were charging my credit card for the next service, the same day of the current service! How shady is that?! I cancelled my service & i'm now still waiting for my $75.00 refund for a service I never had scheduled. Very frustrating! The one girl, Jamie that did come on 3/2/18 was very thorough and pleasant to speak to. The maid came over and the first thing she said is "do you have a vacuum?" For the price I paid over $100, it supposed to include all the cleaning equipments and supplies. She claimed that her 20-year-old vacuum is broken! Wow you are a maid and you don't get your tools sharp and ready? I have to provide my own weak suction power vacuum to do her job. In a word, horrible. If you want to pay twice as much for a half-assed cleaning job, Tidy is for you. I sprung for the four-hour "cleaning," which left me with un-wiped counters, night stands and coffee tables. The bathroom floor was not swept, let alone mopped. And the hardwood throughout the rest of the house was inconsistent. In some places it appeared to have been swept and mopped and in others there were still piles of dirt. My housekeeper dragged furniture across the hardwood, scratching it. She didn't vacuum the couch. She left the bathroom mat covered with some sort of white powder and clumped in a ball on my outdoor couch. AND she left 45 minutes before she was supposed to. Just awful. read more

I thought everyone should no how tidy treats there employees. Here is my story with working with tidy. I never cancelled on clients, I stayed way longer than any of the time given so I made sure everything was done and clients were happy. Even asked clients before I left if I could do anything else for them . Everyone loves me. I have repeating clients etc. Well Christmas Eve I arrive to clients home waited and tried to get a hold of them for 45 minutes. I called numerous times and texted. nothing so I left. Then today a client text me saying they needed to cancel for tonight. 15 minutes later I get a email saying I have cancelled to many times or caused clients to cancel. I have two repeating clients and the other clients are new never had any communication with them . I was always respectful and always left clients happy. They tell me I can dispute and a decision will be made in 30 days and I can then reapply in 180 days. So because clients have cancelled on me I'm being punished for. How is this right. I work very hard. It's not right on how they treat there employees.. I went back and read all the documents to see if I missed something. Basically it says they can get rid of you for no reason at all. You could be the top homekeeper and they still find a reason to not have you. So no reason and just out of blue. They can do what they want and basically I have no say. So clients cancel we are punished and held accountable not other way around. Very dissappointed. They at a computer and provide clients and collect money and no direct contact with anyone. There also not a number to reach out to if there is an issue. Only email. Thought everyone should no how we are treated. I was also bitten by two dogs. For 1 hr cleaning homekeepers are paid 24 dollars for 2.5 clients pay 90 dollars home keepers paid 48 and for 4 hr cleaning for two homekeepers we each paid 72 and the client charge is close 200 I think. Very dissappointed. They let me know 1 day after christmas. I cancelled once when I signed up I had kidney stone and was in no shape to clean, another issue on Christmas Eve I couldn't get a hold of client texted twice and called multiple times no response waited an HR, two days later a client texted me saying they need to cancel and ten minutes later I get a email saying I have been decertified because I caused clients to cancel over the holidays. Every client that cancelled was new I didn't have any information not there number or anything but because they cancelled I'm blamed and get let go day after Christmas. I emailed proof I never cancelled on my clients. No response. On both sides there is not any direction if problems occur. They said I could purchase the flat form but as a decertified cleaner. They sit and provide clients and collect money that's only contact . How they treated me is unfair. I take pride in my clients and respected there home and left them all happy. No complaints. I was not happy with my cleaning lady and was going to try and find a new person when I received a TIDY flyer on my door. I gave them a try and they were awesome! It was so easy to sign up on their website. I gave them all my info and instructions. I was even able to get the exact same schedule that I had with my previous cleaning lady. Johnathan arrived on time. I toured the house with him and he told me he wouldn't be able to do all of it, so what were my priorities? I said my bedroom and bathroom, and kitchen, and putting clean sheets on 2 beds (I had already stripped the beds and laid out the clean linens). He half cleaned the kitchen (still left grunge on the oven door. Made one bed, left the clean sheets (unmade) on my bed, didn't put the towels on the racks, and the bathroom cup and the shower hair catcher are missing in the bathroom. The nightstands are still dusty. I'm not sure what he did, and he didn't let anyone know when he left, although my adult daughter was working in the back yard, so I don't know how long he stayed. I got charged for that visit and the next on the same day, so I am essentially paying interest for 2 weeks on a service I haven't had yet. I called customer service and the woman explained they always charge in advance but can reverse the charge if I cancel. She also said she was giving me a $15 credit because it was not a good representation o their service. I want to so much call this company and make them clean up their messes. They should have instead put the flyers on everybody's screen doors like restaurants do at this apartment complex.
