They just left my place and I can't be more unsatisfied with their services. I had the $50/1 hr service. My apartment is really small and I had pre-clean the place so they could focus on bathroom, floors and dusting my place. First, he said that my bathroom was dirty and that he couldn't clean it well. (Obviously is dirty, that is why you are here). Two, he said that he clean my microwave, which was a complete lie. He mopped the floors, but didn't vacuum or sweep the floors first, which created a muddy look. He also didn't dust every piece of furniture. Overall, I will never recommend or hire them back. WOW, what a huge and utter disappointment. I was so looking forward to our 8:00 a.m. appointment this morning with TIDY. It was our first time using them. Well, the home cleaner arrived at 9:04, an hour late. Apparently, she couldn't get there on time because her cell phone was broken. She cleaned upstairs and then I had to leave (since she was an hour late), and she was going to clean the downstairs and then leave. I got home to a downstairs that was untouched. A dirty bathroom and a stove top that still had food on it are proof enough that she only cleaned the upstairs. She didn't even vacuum the rugs. Nice first impression TIDY!!!!!! My letter to Tidy Manager after 5 phone calls, 3 emails with little response and no resolution: I will be canceling any future cleanings. The hassle is not worth my time. I am a widow with a small child who works full time. I was looking for a cleaning service to make one aspect of my life easier. Clearly the Tidy business has low standards when it comes to pleasing customers and doing the right thing. Paying and additional $45 with a "credit" of $45 dollars toward a $90 service I already paid but didn't get the actual service I paid for doesn't seem quite right. In addition I am now paying the cost of a carpet cleaning which I didn't need to do until your service came into my home. Having Tidy has cost me more than just the price of service. My homekeeper was late, I paid $75 for basically someone to wipe down some counters, dust and Swiffer my floor. I called and spoke with the concierge regarding my dissatisfaction. I was told I would be refunded. Which I haven't seen yet. Now when you try to contact the phone number it refers you to text or email. Pretty fishy when you can no longer speak to anyone. I would much rather someone pay attention to the list I give of areas to clean than over gloss one area and ignore others. 2.5!hours and you can't get to my master bath when the other rooms are floors only and kitchen?! My first experience was awful so I cancelled but then received an email saying they had made improvements to the same issues I had so I gave them another shot and even tried the bigger plan. I am so mad that I did not read these reviews beforehand. This cleaning service is horrible and completely unsatisfactory. First off, our cleaner came 10 minutes late. As for the cleaning, I specifically said to focus on two things, neither of was done!! Instead she took half the time washing dishes (which were clearly clean dishes on the drying rack! And i never asked for nor mentioned doing the dishes). The floor still had food, crumbs, and dust on the floor and was still sticky. The counters were still dusty and had crumbs on it. The table hadn't even been touched. Under appliances (toaster, etc) it seemed like everything was swept under there. I specifically said to clean behind the sink and it wasn't even touched. There were cabinets that hadn't been wiped down and I specifically told her to clean those. On top of clearly explaining (as soon as she walked in the door) the things that needed to be cleaned and the top priorities, I also filled out a Tidy to do checklist online which she clearly didn't look at. When she first came to the house she had no idea what we wanted cleaned. I am so extremely disappointed that I spent money on a house cleaner to come late, not look at the checklist before hand, ignore our priorities, and not do a good job and leave things still dirty and even untouched! Update: After contacting customer service, all I was offered was a $20 towards my next cleaning. Even though the website clearing states customers will get a free cleaning if customers are unhappy. Terrible service and communication. First cleaning: house was still left filthy. We decided to give them another try (even though I sent pics of the bad cleaning job, I got no refund or credit). Fine, whatever. Schedule the second cleaning and find out THE DAY OF that the cleaner cancelled. There was no email in my inbox about this -- I had to log onto the app to find out. (The app is also dreadful -- does not remember your login, very basic and poorly designed). This was the same problem we used to have with Handy.com (which I sincerely hope has gone out of business). They seem to hire cleaners as independent contractors who have no loyalty to the company and have no incentive NOT to bail on jobs. This is in spite of their "stirring" mission statement about our "looming jobs crisis." This piss-poor strategy fails in all these types of start-up models: Uber, Handy, and now, seemingly, these guys. I do not even know where to start!.. unfortunately I made the mistake of trying them out before seeing any real reviews outside of their website. Scheduled 2 cleanings for 2 different houses. First house was scheduled at 8AM. At 7:30, No alert or warning. If I didn't look into the website and see whats the update, I wouldn't have known that the lady cancelled due to a "family emergency". That they will try and find a substitute as well, 6 hours passed and no update therefore I cancelled the cleaning completely. Sent an email to the concierge of my disappointment and I get a true word..'Bummer' and that i had a substitute which was false information. No substitute, no nothing. Anyway.. second house, the gentleman did arrive for the cleaning appointment, did an okay job. Not great, not bad. I am not complaining about the gentleman because there was no training from this company. All in all, I will never use this company again. I am still waiting on my refund for the first house. By the way this all occurred yesterday. And the one star is for the gentleman, he was respectful of the house. Other than that I recommend 0 stars. Tidy may claim to keep your house clean, but about 4 to 6 times a year they cover the area of Silicon Beach that I live with their promotional flyers. There are 100s of the flyers on the side walk, in the street, in garden beds, front lawns, etc......all over. As I see it they are littering our neighborhood. Our housekeeper was rude and did not show up on time. She barely cleaned and did the bare minimum. When asked if she cleaned the shower (that was evidently not cleaned due to conditioner still being on the shelves) she said she had. Also, she did not bring her own mop or vacuum and used our cleaning supplies for the most part. She cleaned the floors with a sticky cleaning spray and left the floor extremely sticky. I had to go over and reclean them water so that I could actually walk on them. Also, she did the same with the counters. All glass surfaces where streaky. Overall, it was a terrible experience and left us with more to clean than we started out with. I would not recommend using this service. They do not have a phone number that you can contact them through and only give you another cleaning if you had a bad experience. read more

I cannot express how pleased I've been with this service so far. I work full-time and then some, and would prefer to not have to spend my weekends cleaning my one-bedroom or in the laundromat. I signed on for the once a week $45 TIDY, with the direction to hit the kitchen and bathroom hard and spend whatever leftover time they had dusting, sorting, organizing, etc. They did an amazing job! Gutted my kitchen and bathroom. It was so amazing to come home after a long day of work and find my place clean and fresh. I signed up for Tidy over a month ago after getting their flyer in our mail. The app was simple and easy to use, and I thought it was going to be the perfect way to manage cleaning our home. A couple of days before the cleaning, I started researching reviews on sites other than the Tidy website, I was shocked. Everything I read was terrible and I became increasingly worried about my scheduled appointment. I decided to cancel the cleaning over 48 hours before it was scheduled. This is where my problem with Tidy starts. When I set the appointment they immediately charged my credit card. That didn't bother me, but, now over a month has passed and I'm fighting with my credit card company to get a refund from Tidy. This morning Tidy.com's cleaning agent stole my engagement ring off our kitchen counter while i was juggling two kids. THEFTS!!!!!! I went upstairs to put my baby down and she rushed out of the house at the end of the hour claiming she couldnt stay because she had another appointment at 9:00 am. She was pregnant herself & seemingly sweet. She did not give me her name. If someone could please let me know of they know the name of the pregnant cleaning agent that would be great. She is pregnant with her fourth child. Tidy.com is horrible in that they will not respond to us despite repeated calls. They only send automated responses. I wouldn't have them clean again even if it was free. First of all I scheduled a mighty cleaning (2 persons for 4 hours) but only 1 person showed up. That's not enough to get my house cleaned. The one person that did show up did an awful job. Shower doors still dirty, toilets still dirty, inside microwave still dirty, mopped the floors without sweeping first, he stank of B.O so now my whole house stinks, no dusting I could go on and on. To make matters worst, the office won't talk to you on the phone. I emailed them to call me and about an hour later they emailed back to say they couldn't call me. They wanted to give me a $20 credit on my account. Useless seeing as I'm never going to use them again. Even worst, the extra money they charged my card for 2 people won't be refunded. My mother-in-law received one of their pamphlets at her door. I've been searching for a reliable cleaning service. I thought I would give TIDY a try. I was able to communicate via email quickly and efficiently with a representative. I scheduled my cleaning date. Then I decided to read the yelp reviews. I read about no one showing up, about poor service, etc. I emailed the representative and mentioned these reviews. I asked for 100% confirmation that a cleaner would be coming on our scheduled date. The rep said, "As far as yelp reviews, we are aware of them, and we try our very best to make sure your home keepers arrives and does an amazing job." 2pm was my scheduled appointment. 2:30pm rolls around. I call TIDY to follow-up. They say the cleaner is lost but on her way. Then 3:15pm rolls around. I call again and decide to cancel my service. The rep proceeds to cancel but offers no reason for the no-show. I had to ask what was going on. He said they were trying to contact the cleaner, but have been unable to locate her. !!! This is a very unreliable service. The rep are nice enough and harmless. But where is the ACCOUNTABILITY?! I will NOT be using this service in the future and I will NOT recommend them. read more

We had a regular cleaning every two weeks from them and everything was great, for what we needed. Then we got a call saying we had to upgrade our service to a more expensive plan or they could no longer service us. We'd been using them for nearly a year at that point, with automatic cleaning scheduled, and still were being forced to switch without any forewarning. The idea is fabulous. The execution is not. I thought I would try them out and now I know not to waste any more money here. I live in a 1300 sq foot property - it's not that big and we have a housekeeper who comes once every other week - so it's not very messy at all. I thought this would be a good interim cleaning especially since my housekeeper is away for two weeks. First off, when she left, the dishwasher was making a crazy buzzing sound that's it's never made before - I opened it up and a ton of bubbles came out and dripped on either side of the door. I have no idea what she used in there but she either used too much or the wrong thing - I don't know. Secondly, when it finally stopped, there were still bubbles on the bottom and all the dishes were still dirty because she didn't rinse them off. And this isn't some 1980 dishwasher - this is 4 year old high end whirlpool dishwasher. The final straw is that she didn't empty the very full kitchen trash. In her defense, one hour is nothing - I'm sure she was trying her best. The problem is, if it's too short of a time to do a decent job then Tidy, your business plan is flawed.
