The address for this location is 15701 Sherman Way. Van Nuys, CA 91409. Your box number is your unit number. They are able to accept deliveries from UPS and other carriers that previously would not deliver to a PO Box. For the PO Box section, they have extended hours up until 8 PM Monday through Sunday. This is a lot more versatility than before. I had a choice of going with this location or the UPS store and I chose this location because it's closer to the business that I'm starting. Prices are comparable with USPS being just a little cheaper. I think I can easily recommend this location. Edit is still a post office with all the postal services. This location even offers passport services.

This post office is on my way to my morning drive and I got lucky to get a spot right in front. There is allot of traffic and people weaving in and out to park there. It was only 0830 am and when I entered I was shocked to see how many people were inside in line! Completely packed and it's a small office inside! Thankfully my package was letter sized so I dropped it into the outbound mail slot knowing it was safe from the outside heat and then went on my merry way. The outbound mail slot is a good size to fit something a little bigger too. I would stop by here again for a quick drop off but for something more than that be prepared to wait in a line.

There was zero line when I walked in, and plenty of parking available right outside--a absolute luxury in the San Fernando Valley. Even with only two employees working the front, I was not greeted as I walked in but I was helped pretty quickly. I was mailing out two packages, and the process was seamless. If you need a label printed, they can easily scan your QR codes at the counter. On top of shipping, they have a great setup with an inside ATM, post office boxes, birthday cards, mailing boxes, and pretty much every shipping supply you could need in one spot. The lady who helped me was incredibly sweet, but had a very thick accent so I had a hard time understanding her. Overall, it was a smooth, easy, and delightful visit. Compared to the crowded Sherman Way location, this post office is night and day--so much quieter and faster. If you're in the Valley and want to skip the usual hassle, I highly recommend coming here instead! I'll definitely be back~~~

Debbie who was available when it was our turn was absolutely AMAZING. She literally took care of us and then some. For someone who's in a business that has to deal with people one on one constantly regardless the mood of the customers. She was top notch. We had some question regarding mail which she totally answered and she even suggested some things to do instead. Plus I had a package that needed to be mail to the uk. Wasn't sure if I was going to but wanted to see what the price for international shipping would be. She took amazing care of us and explained everything nicely and professionally. I ordered a new drivers license, and got confirmation through Informed Delivery that the item was scanned in the system, yet it never showed up. I have also not gotten a new debit card and new social security card. Yet all other mail comes through fine. Someone at the office is obviously taking my important documents and selling them. Currently working with the USPS Inspection Service to hopefully get this crook caught.
