This is my second time stopping by. The first one was not good at all. Probably it is because it's almost 5pm and they're closing soon. The male postal worker must be tired and he is not happy to answer inquiries. The second time, I came Friday afternoon. There was a line but it went fast. This lady named Sandra helped me to make the transaction easy. She explained to me in detail the differences regarding the amount of each mailing options. With that, it helped me a lot to decide. Beware, this post office is FULL OF THEIVES!!! An employee or employees intercepted my new Money Network card, activated it, then went on a shopping spree!! They also stole a new credit card, and other mail. I am on my way to the police station right now to file a complaint though I doubt it will do any good! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The employee (a man, heavy set with eye glasses, possibly the same employee referred to in the other reviews) that checked me out was ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND HORRIBLE. I was checking out and was not able to hold my toddler who misplaced a couple of boxes there. He rudely told me to watch my child. I told him I cant do that and check out at the same time and I will clean up my child's mess. He kept talking and talking repeatedly and rudely. I asked him for his name and he wouldn't give it to me. I also requested for an email receipt but he cancelled my request. Why be rude to a mom that has a toddler with her? Easy prey to gang up on right? No matter how bad your day is going, this is not excuse for bad behavior. Report this dude and file a complaint if you experienced the same rude attitude. This is the worst post office in the entire valley. The service is HORRENDOUS! There was only one worker and a line forming outside. The big, Hispanic man with black glasses and a choppy beard takes his time helping some old white lady, and doesn't listen to anyone who asks him for help about drop-off boxes. It was our first time there and when it was our turn, he made us feel stupid for not knowing how it works. He told us to fill out a paper on the table, but there wasn't anything there! We informed him about it and he goes and slams two pieces of paper at us. How about you do your job and restock? If you think that's bad, he doesn't clarify anything. A man struggling to comprehend and speak English asks him a question, and he doesn't elaborate, only says the same thing. Not to mention he slams boxes and doesn't care if they're fragile. How are you working customer service with a sh!t attitude? This heavy set man is the most unhelpful, disrespectful, biased and arrogant man in the world. Even DMV workers have better standard. The cashier that was there today 1/21 at 2-3 PM, most HORRIBLE customer service. HE WEARS GLASSES!! He was the only cashier there and the line was out the door. I waited in line for 20 minutes. The guy assisting was so rude to the Hispanic customers that are struggling to speak English and have questions. He would answer them very passive, unwilling to help. I needed help shipping some vinyls out. I wasn't sure what shipping box to buy, was hoping they would help me (UPS always helps me, NO ISSUES EVER). I accidentally selected to ship with USPS , that's the only reason why I had to come here. The guy didn't even bother to suggest a shipping box or anything. He just looked at me with an attitude and said "I don't have a box for that" so I just said thank you, and went to USPS on chase. Omg the girl there (her name is Mary) was SOOO HELPFUL!!! She helped me pick a box, even helped me tape it. Do NOT COME HERE AND GO TO USPS ON CHASE INSTEAD. read more

I opened a PO Box here and they lost over 5 pieces of mail for me within a month. They acted like it was my fault for not having the mail have tracking numbers, even though I had informed delivery telling me it had arrived. Front desk worker is a grump. I've been doing the same thing and the van nuys post office accepts my returns. He, on the other hand didn't. I went here to send something and the person who initially worked with me was so pleasant! If I'm not mistaken, I think her name was Sandra. It definitely started with an S. I needed to send a package and she was telling me what I had to do since I had to fill out a customs form, but I know she wanted to make it easier on me when she could. I also get nervous being unprepared for things, as this was my first time sending a package overseas so I didn't know what to expect, but I felt no rush nor sense of hostility from her when she was giving me instructions which I appreciate so much. She was also observant and offered me a pen when I thought it would be on the counter initially. She singlehandedly made my experience with this whole process so pleasant. I hope they hire more people like her everywhere, and I hope people aren't mean to people like her lol. read more

COVID-19 review: I was pleasantly surprised by the precautions taken here to keep everyone safe. There are marked lines so customers stay 6 feet away from each other. There was also a sneeze guard screen with a space underneath to pass mail and packages through. You put the packages in the tray and pass the tray under. Keeps both customers and employees safe. The only downside to this location is there wasn't a mailbox to drop packages in. i went to wait in line to physically hand them over before I noticed the job behind the counter will a small sign that said "drop in mail". A little informal but it gets the job done I guess. We'll see how long it takes to get me mail to start tracking. read more

This post office is incredibly slow. The line is usually out the door with one person at the counter attending to customers. The workers are nice but it's not worth waiting for 30 minutes just to ship off one package, not to mention the fact that they are frequently out of stock on many flat rate mailers that are available at every other Post Office. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone looking to get in and out of the post office in less than a half hour. read more

During the holidays when tons of people are trying to make sure that gifts are being sent to loved ones, on time, and far away, it is critical to have customer service. At the end of the day, the USPS and everyone who works there is in service to its customers. Dani, who helped me today, was not friendly, not accommodating (for those of you that don't know the definition of accommodating it is to do someone a service), and was not warm, inviting, or supportive. I needed a piece of tape to close up my bag, and he pointed towards the tape, motioning for me to buy a $4 tape dispenser, when all I needed was a strip of tape. I have been to numerous postal establishments, from UPS, to FedEx, to Mom and Pop postal services, and they all would be more than willing to help me out, add the strip of tape, SMILE, and send me on my way. I hope Dani receives a course in customer service and gets a hug this Holiday Season. read more

I've had the last straw This place is just awful. I mean one of the women ( i swear she's like the only one who works here) who works there was never friendly or customer service worthy but after today I am going to quit going here...which is within walking distance from us but its really not worth it. at all Never ever ever in my life has a post office work manhandling and rudely treated my package. Today was my first time at this post office and I was trying to mail out documents for a passport renewal. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a clean, newer facility. Though small and seemingly understaffed, the single lady working was as efficient as she could possibly be. In addition, she was honest and advised me against purchasing "Express" vs. "Priority" mail because she was well aware of the turn times for receipt on the other end. It would've made no difference, hence my additional payment would have been in vain. I appreciated that. Also, she mentioned that she used to handle passport processing at other branches, so she took the initiative to kindly staple all items as preferred by the Department of State as well as add the proper information on the check for payment to streamline it as much as possible. Her level of dedication and customer service is one to be rivaled. A shout out of thanks to whomever brought this gem of a person to USPS. Take good care of her! I've left this at four stars because, I can just imagine the lengthy wait time if there isn't more than one person manning this facility during busier hours. read more

The USPS Service is one of the worse services known to man! DO NOT EVER USE this Service! They don't care about you whatsoever! I shipped a package to Canada via EXPRESS, which the fees are almost double UPS. I will NEVER EVER use USPS service again! By using USPS EXPRESS your package is guaranteed to be delivered to the destination by a certain date and time. I shipped this package for $300 in gifts to my brother in Canada. The package left the United States via LosAngeles and never made it to Canada. I put a case for this package which is now considered lost! Waited over two hours on the phone and all supervisor told me that they are not responsible for my package! Mind you she told me they are not responsible! Why did I spend an extra amount of money for express service and to ensure my package if they aren't responsible? Phone who just blatantly lied to me end it wasn't helpful at all! Warning! Do not even consider on using USPS service ever! Your package will be lost and they don't care and you'll never get your money back! they probably have behind the scenes ripping people off because they know that there's no way anyone can do anything about it! They are thieves! I will be suing USPS for negligence, loss of money, and false advertising! If you ever want is a service to ship your package to Canada or wherever, then use UPS or FedEx, which USPS are Corrupt and they will lose your packages, which are being stolen by their workers and your items will be sold on the black market! read more

They're always so rude; Today I had a really bad experience when I asked for tape and a pair of cissors; the guy that was helping me toss them to me like I was a freaking dog. I understand that we all have to be distant and careful. But they have baskets where you as a costumer can use when handing your mail to them as precaution. But what I certainly did not expect was the customer service to be so bad , one of the workers Dani was extremely disrespectful and rude. He was rude to my mom when she needed help because she didn't speak English, I watched him yell at an elder because she put something somewhere thinking it was somewhere to put trash. There are ways to go about things and this will not do, he did not help me at all. When I got to the front and asked him a question he answered with a short and vague response. I was lucky enough that another person there was able to help me find what I needed, not a worker a customer who also got disrespected. I always buy things online and if I'm not happy with it , I always return it , I have been doing this for few years now , I print my labels and I send it back in bags I get for the company I buy , the previous people had no problem in taking it , today I went in, and there was a Latin guy his name it's Dani , he didn't take my package, but the worse thing is that he wasn't nice at all , I felt this guy races and I'm a Latin as well , it's so funny . This person it's so rude and mean . I don't recommend people to go to this location anymore . They really be charging people to use the clear shipping tape! They didn't even have some that I can use. The lady told me I had to buy a whole ass round of tape if I needed it. Most post offices carry the supplies you need to tape your packages without telling you to buy the freaking tape. This is the second time I've received bad service from them. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I dont know whats wrong with this post office. i think that in general many post offices are always crowded. dont know if its because of budget cuts but its like u need to drop off a package and u know you're going to be stuck for like 30 mins just trying to get up to the front of the line. this post office is horrible. they dont even have the scale so in case you dont want to wait you have to for a person. they should have a scale so you could just weigh the package and move on! everytime i go to this USPS and get to the front of the line the lady askes me the same tired old questions. theyre not even happy to be there! no smile no nothing. i always say i want this to go the cheapest way possible.. i always get the run down on how many days how long. do i need insurance signature etc. no! if i wanted it dont u think i would have asked for it? i know some people dont know about it but then you ask. if i say the cheapest way possible.. i mean the cheapest way possible. thats it! and a little smile doesn't hurt.... read more
