Usually when you are dealing with these situations, you…read morearen't focused on things like how many stars you would give them, but looking back on my recent experience with Kriegshauser Mortuaries, I have to say, I was impressed by their level of professionalism, their ability to move quickly on what we wanted, and the pure sentiment they displayed for my family during our time of loss. We had a situation where we wanted to have things accomplished as quickly as possible. They met every one of our needs and did it without one complaint or a display that they might not be able to get such things accomplished. Every worker was understanding and kind, they were not invasive and let us plan the funeral we wanted to have planned. It was as good of an experience as one could ask for in such a situation. They not only came to and ran the burial for us, the director showed up to the Memorial Mass we held at a later time. This was not part of his job, but he felt as though he should be there anyway. I think this shows quite a bit of class on the part of these guys. If you are facing a funeral, I would certainly suggest checking these guys out.

But before Eddie, we did shop around for other Funeral homes, they tried to talk us out of using his service because they said his location was bad but we had no problems and it looked like the rest of that part of town to us. At the last minute we were also struggling to find a minister to provide the service but they found Reggie Chandler and even at the last minute he was so smooth and his words were very comforting. By far the worst experience I've ever had with any…read morecompany, service, etc. I flew into St. Louis from California for my grandmother's tombstone unveiling. Our whole family got to the cemetery for a scheduled unveiling only to find the cemetery gate closed and locked. The sign said that the cemetery was open (it was Sunday at 10 am. See attached photo). We waited for a long time and no one came. No one answered the phone. Responded to my voice mail or email. We could see that they even had a sign up in the cemetery directing us to the grave site so they knew we were coming. Multiple other people showed up to visit the graves of loved ones and couldn't get in. Unless there was a sudden emergency (God forbid) with the management and they couldn't alert us in time, this behavior is disrespectful and utterly inexcusable. I hope they take a long hard look at how they run this establishment and make some serious changes.

We explained to Abigail what we wanted and she helpfully directed us. Our son's visitation and funeral service were exactly what we wanted. The funeral home staff were very kind and attentive.
