Before her, I had no idea lash extensions could be comfortable! The glue and lashes that she uses don't irritate or burn at all; which is what I used to experience. Mackenzie is very professional and her work is impeccable. I generally get fills every 2 weeks but I could go 3 weeks. The shop is nice. I love the private rooms with the reclining chairs as opposed to a table. Much more comfortable! They make it very easy to schedule appointments; I generally schedule with the receptionist as I am paying. But if I have to reschedule, you can do so in their app and it's no frills. I love it. My appointments are generally 45-60 minutes and I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment to start.

Compared to other places where you can get the same quality. Especially for fill-ins. Most places, charge between $60-$75 (on average). This place charges $120. They claim it's because you will only need your lashes filled every three weeks. Even a month. If that were true, I would actually have no problem paying an every three week fill, of quality. But, therein lies the issue. After a week, the lashes start falling out pretty regularly. Consistently. By two weeks, they need to be filled, noticeably. Which is what I always ended up doing. Paying $120 to get my lashes filled every other week. And yes, I did say "always". Because I'm not just basing this after only going a few times. I went there regularly for nearly six months. I would communicate to Maryam, that they weren't holding up as long as I would have liked. She recommended a few things. Lash care. Things I already knew. I've been getting extensions for two plus years. I know how to take care of them. Excuses about your natural lashes shedding in the fall. Which I'm not saying isn't valid. But, the rate at which I would lose the fake lashes didn't decrease when winter hit. After going there for as long as I have, Maryam did not hesitate to charge me $60 because I missed an appointment because I got the dates confused. I had NEVER not shown up for an appointment ever. And, it was an appointment to patch up her work that was already falling out after a week.....again. That is poor customer service and not a good way to keep clients. After getting my extensions done for so long, I have to say that it isn't easy to find someone that does, even, a quality job. It is even more difficult to find someone who does a quality job at a reasonable price. A price that reflects the longevity of the work before needing another fill. I'm not looking for a cheap price. Because with something like this, you get what you pay for. If I'm paying $120 for a fill, the work better reflect that price. I was not getting $120 worth, biweekly. I don't expect a deal or a discount price, just a fair price. While it can be difficult to find a lash person, I can say with confidence, that you can definitely find someone who's prices and work, are better than Pure Beauty.

Last time i came the woman doing my eyebrows suggested i do a lash lift and tint. I made an appt for a later date to do so. It is absolutely horrendous. They are now fried and over processed. I have naturally long eye lashes. They look about half the length and are bent at like a 90° angle at my lash line then curl into my eye lid and my right side are bent sideways. Some of my lower lashes also got solution on them and look ridiculous and curled up. During the process i explained the perming solution was getting on my eye lid and she was pretty much gas lighting me telling me that wasn't possible because nothing was there. My eye lid is now scabbed because there was in fact solution there burning my skin. When it was over i immediately asked why my eyelashes looked this way in which i was told it was because they were wet and when they dried it would look better. They did not and i called up there to complain and ask for my money back. I was told because my eye lashes are so thick and heavy that's why that happened and to wait a week and she would try to fix them. I explained no one would be putting any more chemicals on my eye lashes there again and demanded a refund. She called back to tell me my full refund has been processed. Now here i am 3 and a half weeks later and they are no better. I also had to spend money on a solution to try to rehydrate my lashes from another lash tech and my eyelashes are falling out daily. I'm so embarrassed of how i look now. DO NOT DO A LASH LIFT HERE!!!!

She "tested" me to see if I was lacking any vitamins. She then invited herself into the room during my facial and tried to have conversation with me while I'm trying to relax. What bothered me the most was she asked me some very personal questions... questions regarding me breast feeding my child and then questioned my answers to her to seem as if I've disgusted her or offended HER in some sense. I was extremely offended, for her to place judgment on me for my decisions. I don't think those questions are needed to be asked when talking about broken capillaries on my face. She then tries to push products on me ans tell me that "if I want to look good I need these". I probably won't be going back, unless it's a day that Eileen isn't there!
