The chocolate chip was classic and gooey, and the lemon had this perfect sweet and citrus balance that really stood out. We stopped by tiff treats after placing an Uber eats order they had a special going on. Darien was super nice to help us. The order still had time till it was ready so we waited. I asked about the holiday cookie flavors that they had to see which one was the best and he was so nice about explaining the flavors and even to treat us. and I have to say the gingerbread was AMAZING! It had such a good gingerbread flavor and I liked the eggnog as well, but it really reminded me of just cinnamon with a nutmeg. Still a really good cookie though. We went outside, hung out for a little bit, and by the time I went to walk back, Darien was walking out with my order. Visiting from Los Angeles and we took a chance to see if our Too Good To Go app had availabilities in the area. SCORE! Tiff's Treats were the first local business that caught our eyes. We placed our bid the night before and couldn't wait for our 10am pick up slot the next morning. Cute shop. Empty. Not sure if they were brand new or hadn't opened yet. But I could see the potential for popularity. A women quickly asked for our app order number and handed us a hefty paper bag of treats. Of course we couldn't resist waiting. My friend sent me a link to get a free dozen cookies, so I couldn't wait to order them and go pick them up. Just a note - I did have an easier time ordering from my desktop than from my phone. You can order individual cookies, by the half dozen, or by the dozen. I ordered half a dozen of chocolate chip pecan, and half a dozen of the oatmeal raisin. I loved that I could enter my pick-up time when placing my order. At my designated time, I arrived at the store. Unfortunately, all parking nearby is pay by space, so don't get a ticket! If you don't like this cookie place, I don't trust you. It's a very different style of cookie than what is popular these days with Crumbl being so popular. Think more homemade style of cookie, not a fluffy cookie with fillings and toppings. Whenever I order them to be delivered, the driver always says he's waiting at the store because they are baking them, and they always arrive warm and perfect. Some people say they are expensive, but they are always running a buy one, get one deal on doordash. Even if they weren't, you should still get them. I ordered a half dozen mix of cookies (Tiff's choice, all cookie flavors without nuts) and a blondie. I had some of the blondie, and it was awesome. Sweet, crunchy, buttery, and enough salt to keep the sugar from being cloying. I also ate an oatmeal raisin cookie, and it was too eggy to me. My husband ate a chocolate chip cookie, and he thought it was great. The cookie size was pretty small, which was fine, except that the price per cookie was also as high as similar places. I did like the peanut butter cookies and the lemon cookies but again just too much sugar for me. Finally visited for a quick afternoon snack; the attendant was friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable of all of the offerings. I ordered the chocolate truffle, the V-day, and sugar cookies. I was told that the chocolate truffle had bits of cookie dough and toffee but didn't taste the toffee. I particularly bought it for the toffee bits. I did get one of the cookies warmed and that made a huge difference (in a good way) although it was still very underwhelming in taste in my humble opinion. The other non warmed cookies tasted mediocre and didn't give me the special taste I was expecting. There was no punch of flavor or "it factor" in the bites for the cookies or the truffle. Why 4 stars? So I discovered this place due to an Instagram ad and offer for a free dozen. So I popped in for my dozen and to support a new business by bringing a friend and buy a couple of cookies off their menu. Cute little place and friendly staff. I got the mix which comes with pb, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin. Overall, the cookies are good and soft. So why the 4 stars? If around Armature works yes I may pop in if craving a cookie. I would say this is a great place if you just want the typical homemade cookies that the average person grew up with. However while the cookies are good I would not say this is my top cookie that I would actually drive over the Howard Franklin to get. It is definitely a cute concept if you're thinking Grandma's cookies. And I would say if in the area definitely stopping.
