That cost $110 as it is under the 10 year warranty, which, given there have been constant problems for 6 out of the last 7 years since 2 units were installed in 2019, was okay, or so we thought. About a month later, the condenser fan for that same upstairs unit stopped spinning, so when the tech came to assess the situation on August 1st, he stated that the coil needed to be replaced due to a leak, and that it would cost $2900 to repair with labor, which occurred 3 days later on the 4th. During the repair, the tech was constantly on the phone when he should have been focused on his job, and bragged to the person he was speaking to that he was the best tech Mondragon had. For starters, people great at their job don't brag about it, but what does that say about your company when the unit goes out 2 weeks later which it did today, on the 21st due to the condenser fan not spinning yet again with lukewarm air coming out the vents? Mind you, after the coil was replaced on the 4th, just 3 short days later the downstairs unit stopped working. When I called to relay my frustration, the rep I spoke to took notes of what I had to say, and stated she would send my info to a service manager, who would call me back shortly. I heard back shortly alright, but via text where it was relayed to me that a tech could come out.........in 3 WEEKS, the second week of September!!!! They claim it is due to being behind and being short staffed, but come on. Shortly after, they sent an automated spiel text with [Customer Name] indicating they will no longer provide services at my mother's address, before they sent that same message a second time with my name in lieu of [Customer Name], indicating other people have had similar problems with their company. They still owe my mother the back half of the annual maintenance for the winter tune-up up and refuse to answer phone or messages. They are that sensitive, and rather than address the customer's needs and concerns as a reputable company would do, they resort to juvenile grade school tactics proving they are not worthy of your business. That said, I do wish them all the best as well and hope they learn to treat customers better in the future rather than dismissing them and saying it is a problem on our end instead of owning up to their mistakes.

They sell crap and then keep charging you over and over. I was very impressed with Legend when they installed my new systems 7 years ago. They seemed to be reputable and reliable. About two months after installation, I went in the attic and found they destroyed the steps up to the unit (two steps). I left a message and never heard back. Not a big deal and I let it go (but I curse them every time I have to change filters). Last year just before the system was 6 years old this "excellent" Lennox system had to have an Evaporator Coil replaced. Cost for labor alone over $4K. And they told me I needed a Compressor Saver. I installed that also (by why was that not needed when I installed the system). Now this year they came out and what do I need - A COMPRESSOR. I have come to the conclusion they installed garbage equipment, with poor installation and sold unneeded or items that actually caused problems. To top everything off the put a sign in my yard that said I loved my A/C man. They didn't ask, just put it in my yard. I don't love them and would not recommend them. FYI - I change my filters on a regular recommended schedule, perform all maintenance and do not abuse the system. So, after 7 years I am basically replacing the entire system. I am not sure if I was a sucker to start with or they have changed, but I would STAY AWAY FROM LEGEND AIR.
