We were a party of 13 visiting Tiger Bar for a birthday. It's a small place with not really a large enough table for 13, but we made it work and the staff was accommodating when we increased the reservation. The bar is great! It's decorated in a great circus theme from the 1930's. The drinks and food are all of the time period. The managers, servers and bartenders all work together to provide exceptional service. You come here for the drinks! They were impressive! Food was limited and they were out of a few items(food and drinks). We all would have appreciated more food options. This isn't a place for dinner, but small type appetizers. The star of the show is definitely the cocktails and fabulous service! And they did only allow 2.5 hours and they asked us to cash out. We left and went someplace else but at $996 for our tab and still ordering, you'd think they'd want us to stick around. read more

Very cool spot with old-timely circus speakeasy vibes. The decor and ambiance were on point, complete with fog machines to give that smoky feel without smelling actual cigarette smoke. Excellent service and a fantastic and creative drink menu including shaved-ice cocktails and a mystery spin-the-wheel to decide your drink option. We had the popcorn flight and olives as a snack and tried a couple of cocktails and were not disappointed. Design and decor was great. My wife's drink was 7/10, presentation was 2 of those points. I am a fan of a specific kind of drink. I frequently make it with different brands of the core ingredients and then age it in a barrel. I was surprised to see it on the menu as it just isn't very popular. I received my drink and it was, for lack of a better term, gross. I sent it back and our server told me that the owner tasted it and I am wrong, the drink was served as intended. Someone, who I assume was the owner, brought me another cocktail and said "this is how the drink was made from the beginning of the drink" and it was fine. Their version was a fine version. If you took the time to ask me what I thought was wrong I would say they mistakenly put Campari in instead of sweet vermouth but instead I felt like a jerk for sending a disgusting cocktail back. First of all, the bar is beautiful and no detail is missed so definitely not a place to be missed. More importantly, the hostess may be the best part of this whole establishment. My friend and I were walk-ins and the kindness, personality, humor and beauty both inside and out were transcendent. Our third friend arrived 20 minutes later and the first thing she said when she came up to us was "the hostess here is lovely!" That woman needs a major raise because the art of conversation and making people feel warm and welcomed is something that cannot be taught. We literally wished we could drink our drinks next to the hostess stand. Kudos to whoever found her because she's a dream. read more

The Cocktail menu here was spectacular, house drinks are presented with charm both on the menu and when they're brought to your table. You're not just buying a drink, but a lesson and a story to give context to your beverage. I had more drinks than I can remember, spun the wheel and got one of the best Gin Martinis I've ever had, went through a good portion of the house cocktails and it was hit after hit. The service here was impeccable, our server Wyatt was friendly and warm and clearly loved working here and contributing to the experience. Bar manager was super informative and clearly loved presenting a beautiful product and experience to go with it. Prices are not too bad, but it's easy to spend more than you want here! I don't live in Nashville, but I will absolutely come to Tiger Bar every time I'm in! read more

We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Nashville this weekend for my birthday and couldn't figure out what to do. I had been folllwing Jackie Hollywoods instagram for a long time now and am a huge fan of his circus style art, when I had seen he was making art for Tiger Bar I knew I had to have a drink here. I honestly didn't think this place was open yet, but we decided to go check out the outside anyways. To our surprise Tiger bar just opened THE DAY BEFORE. I was so happy. The concept is an early 1900s traveling circus caravan. The place is full of fun little details that really make you want to come back. And we did again the next night because we couldn't think of anywhere else we would rather go. The first night we sat at a little table in the front, our server (I forgot to get their name but they had an impressive mustache) was so friendly, with the right amount of quirky to fit the mood of the space perfectly. He made amazing suggestions and served our food and drinks with a pun each time. That night we got the chicken liver toast which was to die for, one of the best things I ate on this trip and I got a mystery drink where you spin the wheel and get a random selection. My boyfriend who never drinks outside of the occasional beer ordered a red light district, he loved it so much he said he would drink a jug of it. The second night we came back it was insanely busy, but the host was so kind and remembered us from the day before. Somehow she was able to get us a seat at the bar, and we were welcomed back by owners and staff, the kindness we were shown by everyone made me feel like I was having drinks at our local dive with old friends. Our bartender Charles was the main event this evening, it's almost like Charles knew me better than I knew myself. He put up with my indecisiveness and anticipated our every need before we even had it. I mentioned I was a dealer of antiquities and that my boyfriend liked classic country music and he came out with a story about his experience at Porter Wagoner estate sale that has us laughing still. Every time I couldn't choose a drink he made sure to steer me in the right direction. This night I got the absinthe frappe which is like a mojito with a liquorice twist. Even my boyfriend who HATES absinthe and liquorice flavors loved it. The other drink I got was the green myrtle one that comes over shaved ice. I was worried it would be too sweet but I love both pandan and pistachio, so I had to try it. It was so perfectly balanced with the tart lime juice that it was neither too sweet or too sour. Everything from the drinks to the food to the decor to the service was sooo thoughtful. I honestly wish I could give this place more stars. If you want to have a unique dining experience that feels like it was catered perfectly for you by your oldest friends you need to go to Tiger Bar. Two hours into our time there we were kindly told we had to leave because they had another group coming in for the next set of reservations. We had just gotten our second drinks and had to down them and then drive home quite tipsy. A bar is not a restaurant, you can't have a 2 hour turn around time in a bar. I've been here multiple times since they have been opened. I always love coming in, the drinks are amazing. I also love the detail that has been put into this bar, it looks amazing. The service is always impeccable as well. The only thing I would change is that there is more consistency with the dress code. I love that it is cocktail attire, and I love the atmosphere that the dress code can bring. But it seems like it is fairly inconsistent, I've seen people often who are dressed fairly casually. I'm sure this place probably had gotten push back from the other side of things, wanting it to be more casual and so that people aren't being turned away. The dress code is something I appreciate it, especially when it's more enforced because it tends to feel more fancy. Erin our server was fantastic! The drinks were absolutely beautiful and tasty. I am not a super big strong alcohol person so I told Erin that I like citrus flavors, fruity flavors, and not a super strong drink. The atmosphere was amazing! I was hesitant as I came in not knowing what to expect but I was blown away. My boyfriend and I were sat at the bar immediately with no reservation. The bartenders, Angel and Charles, were fabulous! They were both knowledgeable when I asked questions about the bar theme and also very fun with recommendations and guidance. Every beverage we tried was delicious. The Ramos Gin Fizz was unexpectedly phenomenal. Would recommend this place 100% to anyone coming in town. Do however be mindful that they have a loose "dress code". It's nothing crazy just check their Instagram and make sure you look semi-nice.
