    Cute valentines addition

Super cute spot in Bellevue botanical garden! The shop is a cart inside the central building in the garden, sat in a very bright and area room with lots of seats! We ordered golden milk and the crème brûlée latte. Both were great! The golden milk was a little less "spicey" than others I've had which actually enjoyed! The crème brûlée was a fun extra treat! Would definitely come back to get a drink and sit inside for a quiet work spot!

What a cute place to rest after all the strolls you take in the botanical garden. It was a gloomy day, but that didn't stop us. The cafe was small, but many people came and went - quick pick-me-up, chat with friends (me), study, watercolor painting, etc. We both ordered the Black Sesame Latte because who doesn't love black sesame?! The drink was alright to me, I couldn't taste or smell much of the flavor. I didn't even finish it. We sat in the corner with a window view to the garden and next to the "library" area. Also, kind of a kid's corner. It's a nice place to relax a bit, enjoy the garden from inside, and maybe order a regular coffee?

A serene oasis: This café, tucked away in a botanical garden, offers the perfect escape. Sip on expertly brewed coffee and indulge in seasonal delights, all while surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant blooms.

Copper Kettle Coffee Bar is located inside Bellevue Botanical Garden and it was such a lovely little coffee shop. I ordered a 12 oz crème brûlée latte and it was outstanding. The barista was kind and my drink came out fast. There's ample seating inside and outside the coffee shop. I highly recommend!

This coffee shop is right inside the park with big windows and pretty views. This place offers only coffee to go only and there are some good breakfast options. The service is pretty good and fast. Overall a great place to grab a coffee and go for nice walk

Unfortunately I had the worst sesame latte I've ever had here. The flavor was just sludgy at the bottom and the whole drink tasted inconsistent. I couldn't finish it. The croissants we had were lovely and my partner liked his Italian soda (as did I). I'm not sure if it was just a really off day for the lattes or what. The barista was very polite and was working pretty quickly so perhaps it just was rushed. The ambiance is cool because you're sitting with view of or outside in the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. I just wish I had enjoyed my drink more.

Sam and Ally are fantastic, my white chocolate americano with whipped cream was spot on. May daughters Golden Milk Latte was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly and will definitely come back again. The setting at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens on a warm summer day provides the perfect ambiance to relax and enjoy the lovely drinks. Great job with your coffee venture Christine.!

Cute little cafe in the botanical garden !! Service was quick and super helpful in answering any of our questions. There is limited seating inside. I would recommend coming here as a nice little break after walking around the botanical garden or getting a nice little drink as you walk around the botanical garden! Definitely yummy options for everyone

Great little place for a coffee and a bite while enjoying the botanical garden. We had the Tiger Latte (Taiwanese dark brown sugar syrup + espresso). Also had the lavender lemonade- high marks for these. The turkey sandwich was very mustardy. Maybe a slip up in the kitchen, or maybe they're trying to get rid of the last of the kitchen's mustard! Would come back nonetheless. Super friendly and efficient workers.

This cute coffee shop is located within the fabulous Bellevue Botanical Garden, which is a must-see attraction (free too). Being able to grab a coffee drink while enjoying the beautiful garden grounds is an added bonus. I love that they offer a discount if you bring your own cup too. That's being green!

Copper Kettle Coffee Bar is the perfect place to grab a bite while exploring the Bellevue Botanical Garden. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a cute little library inside with plant-related books. Service is relatively quick as well. Hot Honey Latte: Part of their 2022 Autumn seasonal menu. Tasted pretty good with a hint of honey. There was not really any cayenne pepper taste and was not at all spicy, but other than that, it was okay. Sugar level was customizable (e.g. full, half, none), which I really appreciate. Morning Glory Muffin: Super moist with a nice added texture from a few sugar crystals. It was not too sweet at all, and was a very hearty, quick bite. I do have to say it was quite oily to the touch. I'll definitely come back and try the other menu items the next time I stop by the botanical garden.

    Hot Americano - so good!
    Anne M.

What a great find in the gardens! I'd actually wanted to try this place for a long time so finally got my opportunity! Ordered an Americano. It was so good! I almost went back for a latte just to try it, but next time instead! Cute coffee cart inside a building. There were a few people in and out and it was definitely clean. Cute outdoor dining space too which would be ideal in Spring and Summer. I can tell this business cares about coffee and it's customers!

I've never been to the Bellevue Botanical gardens. I was searching for a coffee shop away from downtown Bellevue and found this place. The Nature setting with a coffee shop right in the middle of it feels storybook. You can sit inside the cozy yet roomy cafe area or outside at one of the many tables or benches. I am very picky about my coffee. There is no disappointment here. Baristas are spot on. Nothing short of excellent. I will be heading there every time I'm in the area.

All three had the same fresh coconut base, but each had a completely different flavor. The mango version was refreshing with chunky mango pieces, though I personally wished it had a little more topping. The black sesame had a rich, nutty flavor that would be perfect if you're a fan of black sesame. My favorite was the tiramisu, it had a generous, flavorful tiramisu layer on top that paired really well with the coconut. I also liked that the desserts weren't overly sweet or heavy, making them a nice option when you're craving something light and refreshing. The staff was friendly, helped us choose flavors even though we arrived close to closing time, and the service was quick. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. One helpful tip: if you're driving, you can park in the garage next door and ask the staff to validate your parking.

Parking is free, though, and I didn't have too much trouble finding a spot nearby. This location is definitely one of my favorites compared to the Bellevue Square location. It's much more spacious inside and has plenty of tables available if you'd like to sit down and enjoy your dessert. The staff were also super friendly when my mom and I visited, which made the experience even better. I've seen this place all over social media, and as a big coconut fan, I knew I had to give it a try. We ended up ordering the Red Bean Coconut Dessert and the Plain Coconut Dessert. Our total came out to around $20. The plain coconut dessert was about $8, while the desserts with additional toppings were around $12. They even added fresh mango on top, which was a delicious touch. The coconut pudding texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, making it a really refreshing dessert. Another nice bonus is that you get to keep the glass jars they serve the desserts in. I also noticed they have a selection of bottled drinks available to take home as well. Overall, I had a great experience at this location and would highly recommend stopping by. If you're a coconut lover, this is definitely a spot worth trying.

With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.

Here's the corrected version with it described as a dessert: This location is inside Bellevue Square, which makes it a super convenient option if you're already shopping at the mall. If you don't want to go into Bellevue Square, they also have another location just a couple of streets away in downtown Bellevue that's a standalone shop. Honestly, I'd recommend either location depending on where you are. I've been to the downtown Bellevue location before, and while I liked it, parking can be a little difficult since it's mostly street parking and the area is pretty hilly. At the Bellevue Square location, parking is much easier. You can park in any of the mall garages or outdoor lots for free. It's first come, first serve, but weekdays are usually not too busy. Weekends tend to be much busier, though you'll probably still be able to find a spot. The shop itself is very small and can feel pretty cramped. It's difficult to move around when there are a lot of people inside, and the lines can get a bit long. There are only a few tables available for seating. I stopped by with my mom to try the Mango Mochi Coconut dessert that I'd been wanting to try for a while. It came out to around $12. The dessert itself was really good, I loved the coconut flavor. It had a smooth, pudding-like texture with soft mochi pieces that made it unique and super enjoyable. One downside was the customer service. The staff didn't seem very friendly, and everything felt a little rushed. I also thought they had a rewards program here, but apparently it's only available at some of their other locations, which was disappointing. Overall, the dessert was delicious, and this location is incredibly convenient if you're already at Bellevue Square. That said, I personally prefer their downtown Bellevue location because there's more seating and the staff there have always been much friendlier.

BUT they are remarkably consistent, with perfectly chewy pearls and high quality teas. So, even though I'm paying a lot, I know it's going to be good. I got the Dong Ding Oolong with cream, perfect sweet and less ice with boba. The Dong Ding oolong is a high mountain oolong with a strong malty, nutty, roasty taste. It perfectly complements the cream. I prefer cream as opposed to milk since I think the cream gives the drink a thicker, more velvety mouthfeel if you mix it into the tea, plus before mixing you can sip on the cream and the tea separately, so it's like you can enjoy two drinks in one cup!

Since Chicha San Chen opened its Bellevue Square location, I have stopped by a couple times. While…read morethey serve some of the best boba, the tea flavor tastes a bit diluted compared to what I noted in my previous review. Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.
