Small footprint but huge taste. For the Tiger New Year we headed over to get a treat. Bonus - Yelp Elite Event also happening. The store is clean and doesn't have seating so it's grab and go. The server greeted us and we checked out the menu on the counter. We selected the black sugar boba + pearl + chocolate malt milk with cream mousse and the black sugar boba green tea. I love green tea so that was my choice. The servers were polite and professional, and very busy. They made the drinks efficiently and got all the customers taken cared of. The customers maneuvered around when there was a line so that we could all fit in the store. The Tiger is cute and greets people when they enter. Lots of photo opportunities. They have a restroom and it's clean and roomy. Just walk down the corridor behind the curtains. Our order was ready and we followed the instructions to shake the drinks 15 times! He said his drink tasted like a Frappuccino which he loves. Just with boba and so tasty. Mine was light and cold. I really enjoyed it. Tiger Sugar opened up a week ago and has had lines out the door every day I've passed. Literally a little whole in the wall place with just enough space to order and no seating, which probably explains the small crowd I see hanging out outside it's doors every day. It really reminds me of these small places in SE Asia who specialize in a tiny menu of 5-10 items done very well. Warms my heart! I love the idea and hope to see more of these in the area. The goods. Our little group tried a few types to start: #1 Signature - Got their signature iced. I liked the mix of small and large boba. Creamy and not too sweet. #2 Tiger Jelly - Tasted almost like coffee, jelly was good. #5 Pudding Milk - My favourite! The pudding tasted like condensed milk! I had enough pudding leftover to take home and add more milk tea to for round two. Customer service is good and drinks are made to order, so there's a little bit of a wait but worth it. A little secret about me is that I love a milk tea or a slush, but i do NOT like boba. Not a big fan of surprise chewy tapioca randomly coming through my straw when I'm just trying to enjoy a beverage. But I have to say that Tiger Sugar's boba is on another level. They have a proprietary 8 hour method in preparing their syrups and tapioca pearls and the result is the softest, chewiest, most delicious, warm boba you've ever had. I know it's a chain, so you wouldn't really expect it to blow you away, but it did just that for me. And so happy that they're now open in Colorado, and so close to me in Aurora! I do wish they had more sizes, and since there is no option to go less or more sweet, I was surprised that it wasn't cloyingly sweet. So if I had to choose where to go, I will most likely always choose Tiger Sugar. It's super creamy, luxurious, and consistent. Boba is chewy and sweet! With luxury does come with a higher price. I paid over $7 for the mango boba tea and it only comes in one size. You don't really need too many people to tell you that Tiger Sugar is the best. This place is great!! Super friendly, very quick service (even with a few people there I ordered and had my drink in less than 5 minutes). I went with the #1 - first time here I wanted to try their signature drink - and it did not disappoint. Finally get to try Tiger Sugar and I can see why it's got quite the hype. I'm one of those milk tea lovers that don't really care for boba as my topping of choice. However, I like how their drink isn't too sweet, yet very creamy. Different sizes of boba was a nice touch as well. If you love chewy boba, this is definitely your spot! The only two complaints I got: the drink size was kinda small and the paper straw got soaked and softened too quickly (if you like me who takes time enjoying your drink). Good soft boba. My friend got the black sugar boba and I got the tarp pudding boba. I liked my friends drink. I wanted to try something different so I got the taro pudding but I didn't care for the pudding chunks. I should've just stuck to my normal raro boba but oh well. It was still very good boba. Love this place! My boyfriend and I have gone maybe 3-4 times a week for the past few months it is so yummy! They have a punch card reward thing where you get a free drink every 10 drinks you buy - very nice. Pros - nice selection, you can adjust sugar content, you can add boba/pearls/pudding or take out. the service is wonderful! Never had a problem with anyone that has worked here and they've all been great and informative. Cons - sometimes it does take awhile to get your order if you come in in the evening or weekends but I never mind waiting :) I do love the environment in such a small shop - they have a bathroom that you can use while you wait, code needed! read more

My first time visiting Tiger Sugar was the previous week during the Yelp Elite event. Lil' Sis and I couldn't wait to come back so made the journey the following Sunday around noon time. We had both ordered the Tiger Boba with Pudding and knew we had to have those again because they knocked our socks off. I was feeling rather gluttonous and debating ordering 2 of the pudding drinks because they only come in one size. However, after much discussion we decided to split the Tiger Mango Sago which is larger size. The Mango Sago drink was so delicious and full of fruity flavor I was amazed. I can't decide what was better, the Tiger Milk Boba drinks or the Mango Sago. The next time I order the Mango, I am NOT SHARING because its just too damn delicious. I keep seeing new flavors popping up on the menu like matcha and taro, OMG too tempting!! I will update my review after I have tried these because I promise I will be back. I want to point out the bobaristas preparing the drinks are carefully measuring and weighing the ingredients for each order. Got invited to a Yelp event that was hosted at Tiger Sugar so I decided to make a stop here before driving up to the mountains. The store doesn't have any sitting area, so you just order your drink to-go at the counter. It's been a while since I've had boba so I ordered the #5 drink, "Tiger Meets Pudding." YUMMM!! This drink was so good! There was the right amount of boba mixed in with the milk and cream mousse. The difference between a good boba shop and a bad boba shop is understanding the correct amount of proportion of ingredients and Tiger Sugar is no stranger to that. The tapioca balls were high quality and tasted great! It only took about 8 sips before there was none left which was a little disappointing... Charging $6 for a small boba drink seems a bit steep. If you want consistently fresh boba, this is the place. I like how they have a small set menu and there are no modifications allowed so it's not confusing as to how to order a boba drink. My favorite is #4 (coffee latte) which is their most popular and it comes with 2 different sizes of boba in their drinks which gives a nice texture profile. The drinks "look" super sweet but are lightly sweet in reality. Service is always friendly & fast and it's take out only so there are no seating inside. Here are the other ones I've tried so far: Chocolate Malt (#3)- Tastes like malted chocolate milk but the crispy chocolate bits inside threw me off a bit at first. Once it all melted, flavor was pretty good. Pudding (#5) - Felt like it was too much going on and not enough drink. Mango - I love mango but I didn't love this drink. Again, just too much going on but not enough actual drink. Green Tea - I love matcha anything but this was just meh... Waffle - Omg... crisp & chewy & drizzled in brown sugar syrup. I came in during the Yelp Elite week and the employees were kind and attentive. They gave recommendations and I decided to order their namesake. My very first impression of the drink was that maybe it will be too sweet, but when I took my first sip I was surprised that it wasn't overly sweet and you can definitely taste the robustness of the black sugar. It kinda reminds me of how kuro ame tasted like, which is Japanese black losange, something I use to enjoy a lot as a kid. The milk was creamy as described on the menu, and the boba, probably one of the best boba I've had. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and had a nice chew. I tried this place in the recent past and returned again a few weeks ago because I enjoyed their boba tea. I like their boba tea with custard. Staff was very friendly during both of my visits and I didn't wait long to get my beverage after purchasing it. There are no places to sit down at this place and there is no public restroom so heads up on both of these pieces. I like how it's small and quaint. You just place your order, wait a little then grab your beverage and go. They offer nice size straws for the beverage and a plastic seal is placed over the top so that it doesn't spill. Also, they have a sign at their counter to remind you for shaking your beverage 15 times before drinking it. Lastly, they offer beverage cartons for multiple orders. As a Taiwanese American, I was so excited that Tiger Sugar opened a location in Denver. I have always meant to try their milk tea out but the line in NYC was always out the door so Yelp provided me an opportunity! Although their storefront is super small, it was super busy on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered their OG since I wanted to experience their well-renown brown sugar without any distractions. Immediately, the biggest difference is the size of their "large" compared to other places - it reminded me that large sizes from international chains are really a small by U.S. standards. The other thing that stuck out to me was the size and texture of the boba. They weren't as chewy as I would prefer and slightly larger than I am use to. In addition, unlike other boba places, you CANNOT request any customization (e.g. less ice, less sugar). Although Tiger Sugar won't be my go-to boba place in the Denver metro area, I would go back to try their mango sago option, which sounded intriguing. Overall, I wasn't blown away by the taste of the brown sugar and milk tea. Maybe I'm a traditionalist at heart and prefer a "cleaner" taste. read more

These drinks are top notch! Definitely the best boba I've tried! You can tell the superior quality of the boba, they are so soft and smooth. I ordered the #4 Brown Sugar boba milk with espresso. It was delicious! It's very cool and convenient that the drinks come with a sealed lid! This prevents spills in the car and allows you to shake it whenever you're ready to drink. The service was very slow but, the shop was busy and they seemed to have a lot of call ahead/take out orders they were making as well. The shop is very small. There is no seating, just a counter to order and small waiting area. I really wish there was some seating to hangout and enjoy the drinks! Tiger Sugar is located in a plaza at the corner of a busy intersection. The parking lot is small for a plaza with multiple businesses. If you come here when it's busy, parking could definitely be an issue. If I lived closer, I would come here for the boba often but, I don't think it's worth the drive for me! You bet I freaking did. ‍I've heard of the infamous Tiger Sugar and was STOKED that they finally came to Colorado. I had to go classic with the #1 Signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk + Pearl with Cream Mousse. I'm dumb and forgot to shake the tea before sticking the straw in, but it still tasted fireee. I will say that the paper straw was difficult but put in, but it worked. I should have asked for less ice bc I wanted more tea!
