    Wet rice burrito
    Erika O.

The chipotle burrito I had didn't taste like chipotle maybe cause there was barely any chicken, when I say barely I mean that after deep search I found a little piece . It was mostly wet rice, wet. And the chips they gave me were like the left overs you find in a bag. Anyways. That

This is one of my favorite places to meet my dear friend Jennifer. She's a Flats enthusiast! Saturday offered a great deal "2 for $20"! We shared a starter, then we each got an entree and two drinks. That's amazing! Service was great! Drinks were refilled by our two waiters promptly. There is plenty of space to eat inside or outside. Check out the painted ceiling tiles too!

Went here this past Saturday with my husband as we were looking for some fast casual Mexican and we were pleasantly surprised. On Saturday they have a 2 for $20 deal which includes: choice of chips & salsa or queso, two entrees and two fountain drinks. Idk about anyone else but I'm pretty excited to get that amount of food for $20 these days. Food: we started out with yellow queso which was very tasty. For entree I got a chicken burrito bowl and my husband got a chicken burrito. Both were very yummy! I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they still give you chips on the side even with the $20 deal. Drinks: I don't normally talk about this but I got their strawberry lemonade which just really hit the spot! Ambiance: this location is actually much nicer than some of the others and they kept it very clean. Service: the staff was very nice and helpful when we needed a few things. Will certainly be back!

When someone asks me which Tijuana Flats they should go to.... I will say Lutz every time. I brought my daughter here for lunch. It was her first time. And it was my first outing since having major surgery. Best choice ever. I had the new Fajita Tacos. I chose a crunchy and a soft taco with the Blackened Chicken. I usually get the shredded chicken. I'm very basic. lol. Overall the Tacos are really good. Something I will probably order again for sure. My daughter got a shredded chicken burrito. She was shocked at the size. This thing was huge. She ate all of it. Based on the look on her face she loved it. Tijuana Flats Lutz y'all are pretty Great!!

The food was fantastic and hot! The steak tacos are superb! Service was fantastic. Clean tables. Impressed with the staff and the delicious food! Despite being very busy the manager checked in with us and every table. Eli goes above & beyond.

I've found a new spot for my tacos and burritos! Delicious and freshly prepared food! Love that! Orders are made to order and cooked when you order. The staff were pleasant! Location is nice and clean! We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday afternoon and beat the crowd that descended on this location for their dinner time meals! I loved that they have plenty of seating inside and more outdoors. The bathrooms are inside and only hold one patron per restroom. My food was ordered to go! I ordered steak tacos and a chicken burrito! Both tasted great! I enjoyed the various hot sauces and tried about 6-8 of them. I loved that they had to go containers for the hot sauces of your choosing. I also had an order of Hi-C fruit punch and strawberry lemonade! They were both watery with not much syrup... boo! However, if you love tacos, fajitas, burritos etc... I recommend you giving them a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed by the hot sauce choices!

Great service and really great Tex mex food. It's hard to find a good tex mex place in FL but this FL based chain hits the spot. With a Hot sauce bar included, you're in for a good experience. They stopped making the tostadas, which was my favorite item, however atom bombs, chimichangas and of course tacos are among the best menu items still around!

Came today for a quick lunch. Nice menu and easy to order. It is counter ordering. The staff are friendly and keep the tables bussed. My Atom Bombs were very good and hubby's burrito was also very good. The chips were a little stale today. Usually better and my lettuce wasn't as fresh as before. All in all it's a nice place to have lunch and they even served my hubby's favorite Michelob Ultra. It is ago to place for Mexican .

At least 30 costumers inside, where was the 25% capacity?

Don't you love good surprises? Yeah, me too…read more I'm a long fan of Vallarta's... and had been to most locations-except for two. This was one of them. For some reason, I never seemed to be in the area during margarita hours. That changed on Saturday, when we met up here for a weekend wind-down. It's bigger inside than you think-with a large dining room and a roomy separate bar area. I love the colorful Mexican-inspired tables and the tile on the room divider. There's a fun and festive vibe flowing in here. I'm very familiar with the Vallarta's menu and knew I wanted the cheese dip. You can use the complimentary chips (that come with salsa) for dipping, but I was craving the warm, soft tortillas---totally worth the extra $1.50 for three of them. I could have been full on that, but couldn't resist ordering one of the combos. For $16.95 (as of June 2026), I had a taco (beef/crunchy), an enchilada (cheese with verde sauce) and a chile poblano (no tomato sauce on top). What an amazing mix of flavors and textures-so tasty and filling, I took more than half of it home. That taco was stuffed with well-cooked beef, crunchy fresh lettuce and their yummy white cheese. Divine! The verde sauce had tons of spice and a depth of flavor. And the stuffed and battered poblano was huge! This is a massive value for money... and so satisfying! And the adorable sun shaped lime wedge on the margarita... sensational!!! That's their Instagram moment... and such a fun extra. So, I expected the solid food and fun atmosphere. But the service took this to the next level. Carlos was so accommodating. He really listened-made great suggestions-always picked the perfect moment to check in. He brought a plastic bag with the box for leftovers-and even a container for the remaining queso. His kindness and thoughtfulness is so appreciated-and elevated this experience. Bravo-and thank you. This location is in a bustling strip mall, on the south side of SR 54... just west of Wesley Chapel (the Caribou Coffee Shop is right in front of it-and there's a Trampoline jumping place next door). There's lots of parking-and you guys know how I love that. Can't wait to go back and bring the whole crew with me!

First time here and was pretty impressed…read more As usual they offered chips and salsa that was pretty good. Personally wish it had a little more of a bite but that's just me! I ordered the Grande Burrito. Great size and packed full of meat and other filling. They offer 2 different sauces for topping so of course I went with both half and half. One was more tangy and lite bite to it, other had more tomato base with a creamy under tone. Both are great but the green sauce was my favorite. Service was good overall. Kinda wish the waiter came around a little more as they weren't very busy but he did keep my water topped off for the most part so can't complain too much. Overall this looks like a Mexican restaurant but way more themed chairs. Really makes the whole place pop more than regular boring chairs. Local place to the house will definitely stop by for more food and drinks.

Great food & service! Always a fun experience!…read more Waitress was fantastic & so much fun!

Let me clarify first, our waiter deserves 5 stars and he was great…read more CHUY's: a Pathetic attempt at Mexican food The food is a 1 star though. Honestly, hands down the worst attempt at Mexican food I've ever had. This place honestly is a disgrace to Mexican food. The salsa was pathetic, no flavor and tasted like plain tomatoes. The second "salsa" we were told is a house favorite. It was literally a cold tomatillo ranch, gross. I got 2 ground beef enchiladas with Tex mex and a chili relleno. The enchiladas were not good but were also not the worst thing ever. The chili relleno however, tasted like a frozen pack of TGI Fridays mozzarella sticks from the store. No joke, you could taste the freezer burn on them. The beans were watery and had no flavor. The rice, you could easily tell has been sitting in a fridge at least over night. It was dry, hard, and also had no flavor. It amazes me these restaurant owners want to have a successful business, but insist on cutting corners and not making fresh food. Your food sucks and I won't be back. I wouldn't even let my dogs eat this food. Harsh huh? Simple solution, make your own food. If you want a successful restaurant, make your own tortillas, cook your own beef, make your sauce fresh everyday, shred fresh cheese, STOP CUTTING CORNERS. Any person with a good palette can clearly tell everything has either been sitting in a freezer or a fridge over night. The ambiance is also quirky and I'm not sure what themes they're going with. Woods, bricks, dogs on the wall, 90's color schemes, it's just not it. It takes me 5 minutes to make great food at home, I'll never understand why restaurants can't do the same. This is the type of place you see on a Gordon Ramsay show that he tries to save. My taste buds will never forgive me for eating here, don't make the same mistake.
