Everything is what you would expect of the other restaurant from the owners of Peche, in Palisade. Service is always top tier. All staff are happy to explain the cocktails and menu. We have a great time anytime we go! While we do understand some of criticism, such as the hard to read menus listed in the other reviews that are on yelp, I believe many of the complaints stem from visits during the Soft Opening in which the staff were still getting used to working the restaurant.

This place has something special! We tried it in their first week of opening and it did NOT disappoint! The view first and foremost from the top deck where we ate was amazing. To look over their grass area and just enjoy the music was a vibe! Our server Ava was the sweetest and so kind! She had great customer service and so did the rest of the staff! Each plate that was brought to our table was so delicious! The photos don't do it justice! I wish you could scratch a sniff because the smell in the air as we waited for these plates was so good! It brought back memories from my childhood growing up and enjoying the bbq and summer days! Definitely try it if you're in town and SIT OUTSIDE! They have something with this place it's SO GOOD

Service was sparse. I sat at the bar. Sat there 6-8 minutes before the blonde person at the bar said hi. I had to wait another couple of minutes since she was talking to a guy behind the bar and a couple other people sitting at the bar. It sounded like friends, not customers. Eventually, another bartender came on named Bailey. She was service oriented and took my order. She knew I was ready and I think she understood. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before she got on the clock. It's funny how things work out. Bailey took my order of two hotdog, mustard and onions, and almost immediately the blonde bartender, I think her name is Taryn put dirty plates right in front of me. The dirty plates sat there a few minutes and when Bailey brought the dogs out she took away the plates for my request and apologized. When I asked Bailey for the bill, I was surprised to find a charges of $.50 for mustard and $1.00 for onions. I truly love a good hot dog and these were pretty good. I wish they were grilled, but I came to found out this establishment steams their dogs and they are a grill less & greaseless. Very green and I respect that. But a dog deserves a grill. I give Bailey five stars for service. The other person named Tyron, one star.

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

We were a little taken aback simply because we dressed as 'business casual' and the waitstaff were dressed to the 9's. But we noticed that almost everyone else there was dressed casually, so we relaxed (i.e. they seem to have a relaxed dress code). Our waiter was prompt taking our drink order (and the water was filled immediately). He explained the special (some sort of fish which both my wife and I thought sounded wonderful) and then let us take our time looking over the menu. When he came back, I asked him about the sautéed mushroom appetizer. He described it and we immediately ordered it. It came out piping hot, and I must say - my wife and I both were 'fighting' for each bite - it was AMAZING. The sourdough bread is fantastic (and was great to use to mop up the rest of the melted butter from the sauteed mushrooms). I ordered the bacon wrapped, blue cheese encrusted filet with the house mashed potatoes and my wife ordered the ribeye steak with the potatoes au gratin. Mine selection was pretty awesome. The kitchen burned the bacon, but the steak was done perfectly and with the blue cheese encrustment and the sauce that came with it, I just pushed the bacon to the side (note - if I had pointed this out, I have no doubt that the staff would have refired the entire plate - so that's on me). However, my wife's selection blew mine completely away. Her steak was done perfectly (medium-rare) and the au gratin potatoes were absolutely to die for (I may have stolen quite a bit from her plate). We have our favorite place in Loveland, Co (4th street chop house) and Colorado Springs, Co (Peppertree restaurant), and we've now added the Winery to that short list. Sadly, it's a little further than the other two, but when we come back to Grand Junction/Palisade, this is one place that won't be skipped! We definitely recommend this place.

We knew there were plenty of wineries, but since my wife like trying new things and I didn't know where she had gone in the past, I had her pick the place to go when we got in and she 'randomly' selected this one. We couldn't have been happier. They have plenty of places to sit outside, but we went to the upstairs patio that overlooks the vineyard. It was a great choice. It's very pleasant, the view is beautiful, it's covered (so you're not baking in the sun), and when the breeze rolls through, it's perfect. We were a little taken aback that we had to go "all the way" downstairs when we wanted more wine, but then realized that it's the 'winery atmosphere' (remember - first day in to Palisade). We absolutely loved sitting on the patio and having a couple glasses of wine. We spent the next day visiting a few other wineries, but after two others, we decided to go back to Carboy. Sat on the upstairs patio again and listened to the live music (with a couple glasses of wine). It was amazing. Carboy has an assorted selection of food that can be ordered. We didn't order any, but it looked amazing and the people around us that did order things seemed happy with it. The only thing that we commented on was that when there's live music, we would have loved to have had the option of a food truck. If that had been the case, we both agreed that we probably would have stayed and had dinner there (as it was, we decided to leave and get dinner from a restaurant). If you're in Palisade (and are visiting wineries), I highly recommend Carboy. Personally, I'd skip the tasting 'flight' and go straight for a glass of wine, but that's mostly because the tasting varies from white to red (and I'm not a big fan of whites).

Beautiful patio and great drinks!! Service is top tear. Id recommend this place to anyone.read more

Dined at Enzo's Ristorante Italiano last month and realized I forgot to leave a review -- but it's…read moredefinitely worth mentioning. It's a good spot for a nice dinner out. I started with the Italian Wedge salad, which was excellent. I'm not a ranch fan, so I had them swap it out for Italian dressing, and it paired perfectly. I always love starting a meal with a good wedge, and this one did not disappoint. For the main course, I ordered the Pasta with Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce. I'm a big fan of spicy Italian flavors -- it's a different kind of heat -- and this dish delivered. The Calabrian peppers (one of my favorite peppers) were perfectly incorporated, giving it great depth and flavor. The spice level was just right: bold and flavorful without being overwhelming. If I had one critique of the meal, it would be the pasta itself -- the noodles were fine, but nothing particularly special. That said, the sauce and overall flavor more than made up for it. I skipped dessert only because the portion size of the main dish was so generous there was no room left. If I had ordered one, it absolutely would've been the tiramisu. Honestly, slightly smaller portions on the entrée wouldn't hurt, but that's not a bad problem to have. Also, the aesthetics of the dining area need some work, feels kind of outdated and old, the tables near the kitchen entrance doors tacky and the tables felt crammed in there, minimal space between tables. It could really use some updates of the interior to bring the dining room up to the experience you'd expect for a $55.00 meal before tax for 1 person. Overall, a very enjoyable meal, and I would go back.

We had already strung together a nice wine tour on the Friday and then we we did parks on Saturday. When we were back in town Sunday I suggested we swing back through Palisade(our Airbnb was in Grand Junction) and see if there was another bottle of wine we might like. After 1 other spot we swung by Hermosa Vineyards. It was a humbler operation than some we noted, as we pulled in. I sorta like that over a grandiose entrance. The tasting room was even more humble in size and layout. As we walked in a larger group was just leaving and bought a few wines, so I figured it must be pretty good. It was good overall. The vintner was also our bartender he said. He told us alot about the history of him and the place. We learned alot about the produce he had growing as well. We were the only customers at that moment so he was especially chatty with us. It was a nice stop, we didn't get a bottle here, but we did appreciate the vibe.

As my expectation for this small but reputable winery grew as the day of the trip was near, today, I have the pleasure of writing this 5-star review to add to others' raves after I had a wonderful time spending 30 minutes at this one of a kind winery a few days ago. Kenneth was the most experienced/knowledgeable wine makers out of all 11 places I got to visit in Palisade mid this week. He certainly knows what wine making is all about and I could taste the precision he puts into each varietal. No wonder his place is ranked one of the top Colorado wineries. Hermosa is small and quaint but big doesn't always describe the success of a/any business. I certainly see that his pride as a wine maker is reflected in the kind of winery he runs: no extravagance, no big/expensive sign. Some great business is not always on the main/busy street; hence the expression, "hidden gem". Ken's winery is a hidden gem of Colorado's wine country is an understatement. His wines are not cheap like other wineries' wines so expect pay $5 to $10 more. But once you have tasted the qualities of his wines after a flight, you WILL be convinced to buy a bottle or two.
